Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
I encourage Xero Subscribers and other customers to start commenting and upvoting so we can show the Executives that these "improvements" are NOT improvements!
So, if you have had problems with any of the alleged improvements, some I have listed below, they include any sub issues associated with the changes.
Please add only "I agree" in comments. This will help our overall numbers into a louder and bigger voice.
- New Bills View
- New Contacts View
- New Invoice View
- Retiring of classic invoice layout
- Xero Support Staff Gaslighting you
Unfortunately, there are so many ideas and comments that I cant list them all, but there is slightly different wording and multiple threads, that Xero staff either close or merge, and muddy the issue actually diluting the bigger problem, that customers are not being consulted, nor are we being heard.
Stop treating us like "users" - we are your customers.

Hi community, I’d like to share the new Xero Central page for new invoicing that we noted was coming.
Along with updates to individual ideas on the site here, this page will become the one source for key feature rollouts including:
- what’s available in new invoicing right now,
- timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
- a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.
We'll be updating this page regularly.
Remember, you can keep switching between the two products between now and September. Thanks

Agree! The last so-called improvements from Xero feel like downgrades. :( I hate the New Invoicing! It is a big problem! And I do not like all these new look improvements! Why does Xero spend money on how things look? If there is a necessity to change some background platforms, etc., just move what already exists and add some new features (not delete what exists)! Why make changes that no one asked for—just for the sake of changes? I never thought that I'd be disappointed in Xero, but here we are now. :(

Upgrade customers requests is more necessary than making things pretty and upgrading how things look, we want productive not pretty as business owners

I think Quickbooks are listening to what customers need and taking action. I moved to xero becuase of many recomendations but are now moving back. I lost track of so many items I needed to invoice and times on projects

I am now in the process of moving back to Quickbooks, projects are far more advanced than Xero and pruchase orders link with bills, Purchase orders show in projects and I don't have to reenter information again and again. Quotes allow a % to be invoiced and you can still see the balance still to be invoiced. and they have a 24/7 chat or phone help, not this send a case and we will reply sometime within the next 3 to 12 hours then ask you what you have already told them then back an froth like this for days.

Ya know.. Since Xero seems to be totally ignoring this thread, here's something to try. EVERY time you encounter an issue, send them a support request. If we keep doing that and we ALL do that, they will get so tired of it that they might, just might listen. I've been doing that.

I have seen a lot of comments saying that they are considering moving to different platform. Well, today I have decided to cancel my subscription and moved to MYOB. I hope some of you will also join me, maybe then they will get the message.

@kelly What are we actually getting for the planned price hike? You don't listen to us as customers at all! I've complained about lack of Smartpension integration and lack of average wage for holiday (a legal requirement) and the response was: do it manually!! That is just not good enough. Manual calculation cause errors and we're paying more than enough for Xero. There should be no price hike without even the basic functionality being improved drastically

It is absoilutely disgusting. I am so appalled for the poor small businesses I have brought to Xero.

90%+ of the Xero customers don't like the new so called invoicing but as usual, Xero never listen, functionalities are being removed and/or changed for the worse under the so called "Improvements" tab and we probably going to see another price increase soon. Typical Xero.

Hi everyone, if you're not happy with Xero, have a look at the suggestion I just posted.

On looking through the comparison between Classic and New Invoicing on Xero Central, there's a tick against Classic for the ability to manually adjust the tax amount but not for New. This function really needs to be available for those of us who receive self-billing invoices and need to match those details up. HMRC (UK) would not be happy if these didn't match up and to have to add an extra two lines for the sake of 1p or 2p on the VAT calculation seems like a very backward step. Can this be added to the amendment list please?

I agree.
I don't like the changes in the reports either. Extra steps, too time consuming.
