Fixed Assets - Bulk edit
To allow multiple Fixed Asset Changes to be made at once and also selecting multiple Assets to Register at once.
Purpose: To save users time. Especially when dealing with large Asset Registers and users have to edit it one by one.

Billable Expenses - Ability to add margin/mark-up
Ability to add a mark-up in the billable expense.
Purpose: Because some clients will ask additional expenses to users’, this will help them easily add mark-up price in their expenses.
68 votesHi team, appreciate your interest of this idea. While we don't have direct development for this planned right now we wanted to share a workaround that may help you here.
When adding the billable expenses to an invoice, you can override the unit price. Using Xero's inbuilt calculator, you include margin/mark-up by multiplying the unit price by the percentage you wish to mark up.
We understand this doesn't cover all situations of needs expressed. We will continue to monitor this idea and share if there's any progress.

Reporting - Ability to show monthly and weekly Product Sales Report
The ability to report on items sold each month (by quantity) on a month by month basis
Purpose: Users can easily run a report to see how many items customer buy this month, then they can also easily print it

Purpose: To give a professional image to users’ customers/clients, and save time in a current manual process

Though not in the pipeline at present, this is a feature our product team would like to explore more in the future.

Ability to copy some part of quotes into invoice.
Purpose: Users’ can easily send an invoice for the work that clients/customers have done from what’s written on the quote.

178 votesHi community, thanks for your interest in this idea. Just wanted to pop in here to share, for those who aren't already aware, that you can export the Receivable Invoice Summary report. The report has a 'Last Payment Date' column that you can add to it which is useful for finding customers who habitually pay late so that you can take appropriate action.
To be transparent, building a feature to show the average days to pay by customer isn't on our roadmap at this time, but we'll be sure to update this idea if that changes in future.

Prepayments - Send receipts and remittance advices
Ability to send receipts and remittance advice when allocating a payment as a prepayment.
Purpose: Users’ can easily send the customers receipts of their deposits.
42 votesHi community, thanks for your continued input to the idea here. While this isn't something we have planned in the near term, we wanted to share a possible
alternative where you could send the prepayment transaction to your customer.
Unallocated customer prepayments can be found on the Awaiting Payment tab on your sales screen. You could add a separate invoice template to use with receipts for prepayments and consider making the following changes.
- Change the 'Approved Invoice title' field to Receipt.
- Deselect the Show unit price and quantity columns.
- Deselect the tax column.
- Deselect the Show payment advice cut-away

Ability to update the date of quote when it’s revised. So the date doesn’t automatically changed by the system.
Purpose: To save users time from changing the date when it’s automatically changed by the system.

Quotes - Title and Summary to flow through to Sales Invoices
Ability to make quote’s title and summary flow through to Sales Invoices.
Purpose: To save users’ time rather than having them manually input the same title and summary when the quotes are converted into invoices.
224 votesHi everyone, we acknowledge your strong interest in this feature, and how enabling 'Title' and 'Summary' fields from a Quote to automatically carry over when you convert it to a Sales Invoice would add more context for your customers.
In lieu of this feature directly, to include this information on your invoices you could currently copy & paste as a description only line within your invoice, or copy into the contents of your email when sending the invoice.
However, we understand this is an extra step that you'd like to eliminate to improve work flow and consistency between quotes and invoices.
We want to be transparent about the current situation. While we appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this impacts your businesses, there are no plans to develop this idea at this time.

Ability to change the date of paid bill.
Purpose: To make it easier for users rather than going through the process of unreconcile the transaction, change the date and reconcile the bill again.

Ability to merge multiple bills from one supplier into one bill.
Purpose: To combine bills related to a single source or event, and show a link between. Also saves time from having to recreate lines from an existing bill in another.

We wanted to share for those that may not already know - right now you can combine multiple bills to mark them as paid in a single batch payment? Bills display separately in Xero, but bills for the same supplier are combined in the payment file, so each supplier receives a single payment and reference. Appreciate that this may not help for all workflows of those who voted for this idea so we'll continue to monitor interest and feedback on the idea.
