  2. Hi! I like the option to 'bookmark' frequently used reports using the star icon. However, I often click on the star of a report in my Favourites section by mistake, which immediately removes it from that section. It would be great to have a 'undo' option pop up, so you don't have to manually search for the report and add it back in again.

  3. Business Snapshot - I see that business snapshot contains figures that can help small or big businesses interpret their business flow. Is it possible if Xero can add a feature where there is a suggested inputs or tips to increase profitability or current ratio if the business has low results, identify risks as well through the generated reports in system?

  4. We are a plant hire business and have recently started using Xero Projects to measure profitability by project/vehicle. We raise a significant number of sales invoices every day. This can only be done manually so as to match Purchase Order to Delivery Note and other relevant backing documentation.

    The project allocation selection is the final entry item, which doesn't run with the order the backing information is reviewed. It would be a great timesaver if the input boxes on the sales invoice creation screen could be moved around.

    The above update would enhance our efficiency.

  5. Currently, it appears that Xero is not authorised by Portuguese tax authorities for use with a company in Portugal. As we run a business in the UK using Xero, it would make sense to also use the same accounting system in an authorised fashion in Portugal.
    Could this be done?

  6. An updated, functional VAT reconciliation report.

    The existing VAT reconciliation report isn't particularly useful. It has to be populated manually and the figures that do populate automatically can't be drilled down into. Not helpful.

    VAT reconciliation aren't really a problem for us as we can use the Detailed Account Transactions report to identify the transactions posted directly to the VAT account i.e. transactions that have a category of VAT, whether it be a VAT payment, VAT on imports or just simply a miscoding by the client.   7. I need to be able to approve super when I am travelling and do not have access to text messages. It is most inflexible that there is only one method for doing this! Can the Xero Verify App not be used for auto super approvals too? Then I only need wifi.

  8. Currently fixed asset reports have to be run separately and there is no ability to add these into an existing report like the notes to the financial statements. It is reasonably standard to include a table in the notes that summarises cost, depreciation charged, accumulated depreciation and net book value for both the current year and the year prior.

    Requesting the functionality to pull this data from Xero into a report, rather than either having to run two separate fixed assets reports (one for each year) or a manual table where figures are typed in and manually added.

  9. When a report runs over a single page, the header formatting does not pull through to pages 2 forward. It pulls through the report name in small writing at the top of the page and leaves a large spacing at the top of page, as the attached screenshot shows.

    This product idea is to fix this bug so that either the report name header formatting pulls through to all pages within the report (preferable), or at least the empty space is removed.

  10. A default "Profit & Loss Detail" report is a standard option in pretty much every other bookkeeping system I've worked in and necessary for many companies.

    An additional option of running a standard P&L Report, but also being able to expand account sections to see the detail without opening a new report would be very useful for researching issues. It is tedious to continually run the report I need, only to click on one line item and then have to go back and run the original report again to continue researching.

  12. When using an "Add On", the customers settings in Xero do not work when invoice sent to drafts. For example when you click the discount column to pre-fill it won't. The fix is to delete the customers name and re-enter it.

    We need to enhance the functionality of our invoicing system within Xero Projects by incorporating start and end times for each task or project. Currently, our invoices lack this crucial detail, which is essential for accurate billing and client transparency.   15. New Account transaction report - remove the totals when generating the report for a single account.
    The new report adds a report total at the end of the selected accounts which is a total of the debit or credit transactions for 'all' accounts selected.
    When only one account is selected it still shows a total - this is in addition to the total for the transactions on the account itself so it shows total of transactions, closing balance and then total of transactions of all accounts selected.     Hi team, we appreciate the attention this idea has received and do want to share that while we aren't directly developing at this stage, notification and being able to collaborate on bills is something our team are currently looking into.

    Hi David, could you provide a bit more detail of where you're finding this behaviour? It might even be best to raise this with our specialists at Xero Support who can get a closer look in.

    Editing an inventory items Item Code can be done independently so you shouldn't have to update the description or price.
