Money in/out graph from the contact overview Why removed?
Why has this been removed? I genuinely can't understand any good reason for doing so from a Xero user perspective. Please reinstate as soon as possible! It is such a helpful, immediate visual tool to be able to qet a quick insight into a client, or suppliers, payment history and patterns of behaviour. It highlights immediately where there may be gaps and is something I (and others in our business) make use of on a daily basis. Additionally, as someone who benefits from visual learning, to completely take this option away is hugely disappointing. I'm now faced with a page of 'words and numbers' which takes time to process and makes the page feel far more clunky and over whelming when it absolutely doesn't need to be and wasn't previously. Personally I think this is a huge mistake, please consider a review and return the graph!

Hi everyone, before the change we’d received feedback that customers found that there was no way to drill down into which transactions made up the amounts in the Money In/out graph to understand it in more detail. We designed pre-filtered sections and transaction category tabs where you can search and filter for specific transactions over a chosen period of time to allow you to see specific data you’re looking for.
Another way for users to see similar information would be to look at the Income and Expenses by Contact report. Please note the report shows all income and expenses even when they are not paid. However unlike the graph, the report does enable you to drill down to individual transactions and export data.
The product team are listening to your feedback and are investigating options for bringing the Money In/Out graph back.
We’ll be sure to pop back here with any progress updates!

You really must bring this back, it makes it immediately obvious when a client has missed a monthly payment and aids us in being able to chase this up. It was not broken, did not need to be messed with. Please reinstate asap.
many thanks -

Please bring it back it was a very helpful tool to very quickly find out how much a customer spent each month for the last 12 months, now you want me to run a report to get what took 5 seconds to find out... please bring it back

I used this every day, it was such an easy way to view spend and see how much we were spending with a given supplier on the fly in meetings and for sales reporting! Please add it back in ASAP.

Hi Victoria - I agree completely! this is super helpful for me in quickly eyeballing whether a payment to a supplier is consistent with their history

Xero, what was your reason / justification for removing the money in / out graph?
Are our continuously increasing subscription fees paying for the removal of features?
I've yet to see anyone comment in favour of, or explained the benefit of having the graph removed ...

Yes, I agree the graph was very helpful and now I feel lost and not sure how to go about searching when my customers last made payments. Especially when they are in arrears as we run a system where invoices are issued quarterly. Why remove something that works and brings value to your system.

This was really helpful for us so I am also disapointed it has been removed. Don't understand why it would be. Tried to contact support but they just answered by saying it has all changed ( yes I know that!). and a load of irrelevant links.

Totally agree. It was a quick visual aid that you could see a summary of ins/outs - excellent for us and for users who might not having to look at numbers so much. It broke up the page and gave helpful informaiton.
Can't understand why it was removed. Please can it return asap?

I found this feature very useful. It's hard to find a quick way of viewing customer payment history. I would like to see this graph put back in. Thanks

I agree. It's removal has hindered us. I realise it is may not be useful for some businesses, but for those, like us, where the invoice is a regular amount, you could tell at a glance how reliably the contact is paying. If the majority don't use it, perhaps this should be a hidden item, but easily accessible for those that want it.
