XPM - Reworking visuals on Timesheets and Productivity Dashboards
Make the timesheets and productivity metrics more attractive to incentivise employees to try and increase productivity or hours worked during the day.
Currently there is no visual appeal to having a 'better timesheet', either through more hours or a higher productivity (there isn't even any green that would signify a positive).
I suggest:
Having a widget (even just a simple line graph) that changes colour based on the productivity (i.e. a higher productivity would have a brighter green, good productivity green, low productivity red etc) - With this incorporating capacity reducing time to not skew this data
Introduce a metric…
6 votesHi Kurt, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on the XPH dashboards.
The idea of making timesheets and productivity metrics more visually engaging is an interesting one. As you’ve pointed out, the way information is presented can influence behaviour — whether that’s encouraging more timely entries or helping people quickly understand how they’re tracking against capacity.
I’ve moved this idea into Gaining Support so we can track interest and keep the conversation together. If this is something you’d value in your practice, adding your vote or expanding on how you’d use it will help build the picture for our product teams.

Xero Partner Hub | Jobs - Change timer icon
The timer icon looks almost just like a circle, the hour hand is tiny, it's barely distinguishable from the magnifying glass next to it, so it's hard to know what it means. How about using a picture of a stopwatch or copy the icon used by the iphone.
2 votesThanks for your feedback, Jonathan. I'll share this back with our product team, and for now we'll track the interest from others Partners on this here.

Tax Manager - View NOA Status
Where has the function gone from the filed tab showing when a clients Notice of Assessment has been received back from the ATO.
7 votesAppreciate the additional support this idea is getting. Please know this has been shared back with our product team who are taking a closer look into this.
While we can't commit to development atm, I'll shift the idea to In discovery and we'll let you know of any further updates around this, here. Thanks

XPH | Homepage - Ability to resize widgets
would be good to be able to resize the widgets to show more of what is important to us individually ie: I would like to be able to make the job widget bigger to show more jobs and shrink the time summary which is not important for my particular role
13 votesHi team, thanks for sharing this! We can see how resizable widgets would make the Partner Hub feel more tailored to each practice. Some teams might want a big view of their Alerts, while others prefer a compact Time Summary—being able to adjust widget sizes would make the dashboard feel more like your own workspace.
Currently, fixed-size widgets can make key information feel crowded or require extra clicks to see more rows of data.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so our product teams can understand the demand for a more flexible dashboard. We’d love to hear from you—which widgets would you most like to expand or resize?

Workpapers - Ability to attach to multiple jobs
It would be so useful if there was an ability to have workpapers attached to multiple jobs - EG Workpapers created for the 2026 attached to all BAS/IAS jobs, FBT, Annuals
1 voteThanks for your feedback, Jess. This isn't something we have planned at this stage but we'll start to gauge the interest from community here. I'll share if there are any updates.

XPH | Homepage - View % of billable hours
Would love to have the % of billable hours back pls :)
2 votesThanks for your feedback here, Ruby. We'll start to get a track of the interest in this through your idea here, as our product team continue to make improvements to the homepage. I'll be sure to let you know if there are any plans made.

Tax Manager - Save Filters
You can apply filters, but it would be good to be able to save filters so that they can be used again. Basically the same function that is in Job Manager.
10 votesHi team, really good to hear your feedback on what could improve your experience with new Tax Manager which is currently in beta.
We're listening to the feedback we're receiving about this from our community and while not in the works just yet, the ability to save custom filters is a feature we plan to develop.
You can get more of a view of what's to come in Tax Manager through Xero Central, and I'll keep you updated here once this idea progresses with the team.

XPH - Automatically remove identical addresses on client profiles
When the client contact details have been imported in this change (specifically businesses or entities), it has brought in every client address, now on some client profiles, it shows 4 of the same street address and 4 of the same postal address. Could this return to show only one of each to reduce the repetition and confusion.
1 voteHi Briony, appreciate your sharing here! We can see how removing the duplicate address would make client profiles feel simpler and more streamlined. When you’re managing a large number of clients, every bit of clarity on the screen helps you focus on what matters most.
Having the same address listed twice can make profiles feel cluttered and, occasionally, create confusion if one gets updated and the other doesn’t. A cleaner view that only shows unique information would make it easier to scan and manage client details.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so our product teams can see how valuable a more streamlined client profile would be.

XPH – Add Client Activity Toolbar
Please reinstate the summary toolbar or menu at the top of client pages. It previously acted as an effective dashboard for client activity and allowed us to see what was happening at a glance.
In XPH, key items (for example, active tax returns) no longer clearly show status or progress, which forces users to click through multiple screens just to understand what is going on.
Overall, XPH feels clunky and significantly more admin intensive. It feels like a system that previously worked has been pulled apart by developers with little regard for how accounting practices actually operate or for the…
2 votesHi Rochelle, thanks for bringing this up. When you’re working across a large client list, having a clearer signal of what’s changing can make a big difference. A Client Activity Toolbar could give practices a quicker sense of where things are moving and where a nudge might be needed.
Rather than jumping in and out of individual part of XPH, this kind of view could help you prioritise what to focus on.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support to see how much wider interest there is.

XPH | Homepage - Change spelling of Lodgements Widget
The new Lodgements widget has the word 'Lodgements' spelled as 'Lodgments'. Please fix.
3 votesAppreciate the feedback, Ben. We'd like to track the interest in this spelling through your idea here. Both ways of spelling this are correct and 'lodgments' currently aligns with how ATO's spelling of this.

Tax manager - filter by Partner & Manager
Be able to filter the tax manager list by Partner & Manager
30 votesThanks for your feedback here, everyone. We appreciate hearing how we can keep developing Tax Manager to better your experience.
As you may be aware Tax Manager is currently in beta and was released early for some users so you could access ready to start returns and the lodgment widget.
We're currently working on other features to build on this feature and you can stay up to date with what's in the pipeline on our Xero central page.
Filtering by partners and managers is on our radar too, and I'll shift the idea to Accepted for now, and be sure to share any progress for this here.

XPH - Ability to merge jobs
Ability to merge jobs rather than moving timesheets.
7 votesHi Sue, thanks for sharing this! A merge feature for jobs could make managing duplicates much easier and help keep your records accurate and up to date. It would ensure that notes, tasks, and time entries all stay in one place, giving you a clearer view of each job’s progress and profitability.
We’ve moved this along to Gaining Support so the product team can see how useful a merge tool could be.

XPH - Add a "Staff Member" filter to the All Tasks view
When going to all tasks, it would be great to filter by staff member
1 voteHi Sue, thanks for bringing this idea to our attention! A staff member filter sounds like it could be a real time-saver for managing Tasks in XPH. Being able to see everything assigned to one team member instantly would make it much easier to balance tasks and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so the product team can see how helpful more granular task filtering would be.

Clients | Jobs - Ability to search
Please add "Search Function" under the client Jobs - same as in the job manager in order to search for specific "current" and "archived" jobs, the sort function is not sufficient.
3 votesThanks for sharing your idea, Louis.
Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!
We'll start getting a sense of the interest here and share if there are any updates.

XPH - Automatically link and sync Individual Clients with the Contact list
All individual Clients created should automatically be added as a contact and that contact should by linked to the client record. If you change the client detail that "new" contact that is linked should be auto updated. (in short an individual customer/contact is not "duplicated"). If you send mails from a job you can then use that client automaticly as a contact and do not have to create a contact
4 votesHey Louis, thanks for bringing this up! Having client info in both the Partner Hub and your practice contacts gives you flexibility, but it would be even smoother if updates could flow automatically between them.
Right now, exporting your client list from the Hub and importing it into your practice contacts is a simple way to refresh records in bulk. It’s a handy way to keep everything up to date.
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so the product team can see how helpful a more connected, unified experience would be for Partners.

XPH - Add a direct shortcut to enabled practice from the homepage
It would be useful as a business owner to be able to access our firms blue xero file directly from the new homepage, similar to how we can for clients and there blue files.
3 votesHi Kat, thank you for the suggestion! A shortcut to your enabled practice organisation could cut down on repetitive clicks and speed up everyday tasks. We understand that partners often need quick access, so a single-click option makes sense.
For now, the closest workaround is the Organisation Switcher’s “Recent” list or a browser bookmark for your practice dashboard. These give faster access while the homepage doesn’t yet have a dedicated button.
We’ve moved this idea to ‘Gaining Support’ so our product team can track interest in a direct shortcut from the homepage.

XPH | Home Page Job Over view - provide the ability to add Priority Column
Home Page Job Over view - provide the ability to add Priority Column and the sort should be by due date then priority level - Urgent to low
2 votesHi Josef, I can totally see how a "Priority" column could be a real game-changer for practice management. When you’ve got a long list of client jobs, it helps to see instantly which ones need attention right away and which can wait.
For now, some partners find it helpful to use the Job Status or Due Date columns to sort tasks, or even add a visual cue in the Job Name to highlight urgent work.
We’ve moved this idea to ‘Gaining Support’ so our product teams can see the impact. We’d love to hear your thoughts on how this can be impactful to you.

Practice tools | Jobs - Set priority for recurring jobs
XPM - Set priority for recurring jobs
1 voteAppreciate your feedback on how we could improve Jobs for your practices use, Robert. We'll start to get a sense of the community interest around this here.
Our product teams are paying close attention to feedback on this feature and I'll share if there are any updates here.

Practice Manager - Ability to navigate prior weeks on the Time Summary graph
We love the graphical representation of the weekly timesheet. However, we would love to be able to navigate to prior weeks to also view them as a graph
2 votesHi there!
Thanks for sharing your idea with us!
Since there’s currently no way to toggle date ranges directly within that dashboard widget, I’ve classified this as Gaining Support to see how much interest it gathers from the rest of the community.
I’ve updated your idea title to Practice Manager - Ability to navigate prior weeks on the Time Summary graph to make it easier for others to find and vote on.

Practice Tools - Display Client Code in the Client record header
Previously the Client Code showed in the address bar (i.e. 8 digit number unique to the client). We could then add the number to the Client Code field under each client. This number is used to sync the client to external apps integrated with XPM (i.e. FYI Docs) This has now gone! The address has changed. How do we find the client code when setting up a new client now to enable accurate syncing??
1 voteHi there,
Thank you for raising this!
With the recent updates to the interface and URL structures, that "shortcut" isn't as visible as it used to be. I’ve assessed your suggestion and moved it to Gaining Support.
It’s a great piece of feedback because it highlights how a small UI change can have a big impact on your workflow with integrated apps.
I’ve also updated the title to Practice Tools - Display Client Code in the Client record header to help other practice users find and vote for it.
A quick tip for now: While it's not as fast as the address bar, you can still find and edit that code by clicking Edit Details within the client record.
Alternatively, if you need to find these in bulk for several new clients, running a Client Report and including the 'Client Code' column is currently the most reliable way to…
