  1. When some client has more than 1 health insurance policy and the period of the same are diffrent and sometime overlapping we need the work out this manually which can sometime be wrongly caluclated and can impact the tax estimates.

    Xero should have a worksheet where we can enter policy details along with perioid of coverage to that it can calculae the days acurately. Similar feature is avaialble in MYOB AO and comes in very handy.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate how auto calculating Medicare Levy Surcharge (MLS) exempt days would help save time and reduce errors.

    While our product team has reviewed this idea, and it's something we have intentions to solve in the long terms this is not roadmapped at this time.

    This is something we'll continue to assess as we plan for the future of Xero tax so I'll share as soon as there are any updates on this, here. Thanks

  2. The Cover Letter shows the Taxable income and refundable/payable amount, can it also then include spousal tax return information so we can send one cover letter for two tax returns.

  3. TPAR - Ability to add more than 12 rules. Some clients like to separate out each type of subcontractor they have on the books and end up with a lot more than 12.

  4. Make a schedule for allocating partner income and tax credits allocations with a total giving the ability to allocate income on the one page. Currently you have to go into each partner schedule. There is not always an even split of income and with many partner entities it is very time consuming.

    Highlight/Bold the Client name for each entry.
    Make a hyperlink for.
    When reviewing timesheets is easier to think in terms of the client than the job name.

  7. Would be great to create a report in XPM that shows client bank details so we can identify clients that are missing bank details and need to be followed up. This would also avoid the issue with tax returns being lodged with no bank details recorded.

  8. When requesting a transfer of the subscription, display a list of current users so that one can be "ticked" / selected as the receipient. As generally these are the clients anyway.
    This would ensure correct details, as the user name and email address is already in Xero.

  9. I'm completing my first Trust ITR for 2024, and inputting info into the new Trust Income Schedule.

    The Non-PP income flows through to Item 8, but the Capital Gain isn't flowing through to Item 21...

    WHY do you insist on SO MUCH double entry??!?

    It's not even throwing an error, like the 'Managed Fund' schedule does in an Individual ITR??

    Appreciate the conversations here. The other idea linked in this conversation that we delivered on was the ability for information to flow from the Trust Return(TRT) to Individual Returns(ITR) which is facilitated with the Trust Income Schedule.

    We appreciate wanting to see further improvement in this space, and this is something we have intentions of looking at in the future, however we don’t have any timeframe right now. I’ll be sure to share any news with you all here.

  10. In the Transfers screen, Need a filter option on the Return State column to save having to move from page to page of results to find all the Assessed ones (even after having sorted by that column)

The ability to format workpaper queries - currently when you type in a query you can enter paragraphs and do simple formatting or spacing out of the query to make it more readable, but as soon as you close the query, any spacing out of the query is lost and all the words run into each other making queries difficult to read.

  12. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  14. Can you create a way that when we send out a Tax Return to be signed in Practice manager, Xero sends a notification to the admin team at the same time so they can create an invoice.

  15. On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.
    At present you have to click the dropdown, which lists all open jobs, and then find the job you are working on.

  16. Sync clients grouped in Xero Green to Xero Blue. Currently groups can be created in Xero Green and Xero Blue independently but are not synced or linked. It would be efficient and helpful to sync the groupings we have created in Xero Green across to Xero Blue.

  18. Generated GST and PST bills should generate the date of the end of the period reported. January to March reporting should generate a report with the date of March 31, 2024 and not the date of that the bill is generated.

  19. XPM Billing - Ability to bill more than the WIP without WIP write-on.

    If XPM allows carrying credits forward for future use against more work in the future, similar to other traditional practice management software, that would be great. For example, Once we completed the job, we sent out the work with our invoice. If we can carry credits of an hour or two for clients to review the work, discuss and send back the signed copy, lodged & sent assessment etc. This additional time can be offset against the credits that we billed more than the WIP so we…
