  1. Enable the ability to generate a report that includes users for each client organisation that includes users who are not staff members so that you can quickly see if the correct and relevant people are accessing the Xero file and know if you need to remove users who shouldn't be there.

  2. It would be great to have tasks within jobs (XPM) link to Xero Blue's item codes so that when importing bulk invoices, they can be allocated to a specific task/item code. This will allow for easy reporting both in XPM/Xero Blue.

    Otherwise, it would be great to have an option to allocate a task to invoices in Xero Blue that links back to the relevant task in XPM, similarly to the way the Reference field works for jobs.

  3. Improve the way clients can create accounts and log into an existing xero account.

    If we create an account for them, it asks them to put in their organisation details. Then we invite the client into the organisation, they have to accept the invitation.

    Clients are always having issues with their log ins, and signing documents. Feel this could be made easier for them.

  4. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

  6. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  7. In the timesheets window, a button which takes you back to todays timesheet.

    I often have to scroll back, and prepare prior period timesheets, and so it would be handy to have a "today" button, which will automatically return you to the current days timesheet - rather than having to scroll forward (similar to handisoft practice manager).

  8. I feel like a dedicated feedback board would be useful. As I don't feel there is currently an appropriate place to give feedback and notify support of things that are not working properly.
    For example, I have the new GST returns to trial and there was an actual feedback box in Xero. Where i gave the feedback that i liked the new features but not the look. Now the feedback box is gone and I have just noticed that it tells you that there are unreconciled lines to code. But, they are for the next GST period. Plus the old…

  9. Every year we have to manually create tax returns for each client - would be great if the client is listed as an existing client on both XPM and ATO that XPM can bulk create the tax returns for that relevant year run. This would cut down a lot of admin time.

  11. It would be great if we could have repeating queries on Xero Ask so that it will automatically send queries requesting year end information or VAT return records without any human input. It would save a lot on admin time and give Xero accountants an edge.

    Hi everyone, we're working on a new Workpapers solution which will build a foundation that can support more granular access controls in the future.

    We have plans to enable the ability to restrict access to sensitive workpapers and documents, ensuring only the right people can view or edit them, and all actions will be auditable. We'll be rolling the new solution out in phases, and we'll keep you updated on the progress for permissions through this idea.

  13. Overseas Borrower Student Loan repayments have different payment dates (30 September and 31 March), there is currently no functionality within Xero Tax (NZ) to manage these payments. I understand it is not possible for the system to calculate the repayment amounts as these are determined based on the loan balance, but if there could be an override amount like for Provisional Tax that would be useful, instead of having to track these borrowers manually.

  15. Can we use the Reports Codes from Xero to populate Trust Accounts Disclosures in Tax Return. Just the same way as is done for the IR10.

  16. XPM - Lock timesheets when a draft final invoice has been prepared.
    We are having issues with staff adding time to a job when there is a draft Final invoice that has been created. Then the invoice is approved and the added WIP does not get picked up and sits on the now completed job for us to stumble over months later. It makes sense to lock the timesheets when a Final invoice has been drafted.

  17. We now have a single client record with HQ & XPM but it still does not pull through the client partner & manager from XPM and allow us to filter this way.

    We would find this feature very helpful when bulk updating client access for our team members when they start or depart.

    We also need to be able to export reports from HQ on the filters we apply. Currently even if a filter is applied the export includes all clients and columns and not what is in the filter display.

    Hi team, we appreciate your feedback and support on this idea.

    As you'll have noticed we've released our new unified client and staff experience that combines the experiences across Xero Practice Manager and Xero HQ.

    You'll find more filter and column options for the Client list.

    Though Client Partner and Client Manager aren't filters that can be added at present our product team are aware of the interest for this and will consider this enhancement as they continue to plan their roadmap. We will share any updates with you here.

Where clients are subscribers to their own Xero but add an adviser who is linked to a Xero partner practice, it would be useful if there was an option for them to choose to give the practice as a whole access so that if, eg, their contact leaves, the practice administrator can give access to their new contact as long as they are Partner Staff.

    Hi team, we hope you are liking the new staff and client experience for managing your practice, with Xero Partner Hub beginning to rollout to practices over the coming months.

    To provide an update on the desire for being able to provide a practice access when a practice staff is invited into a clients org - this is something our teams are currently exploring. While we can't make commitments as yet, we will keep you updated of any development for this through this idea. Thanks

  20. Financial Cents has created the best practice manager I have found and would like to integrate with Xero but is not receiving much cooperation. I and several other Xero users would appreciate the integration.
