    Great to be getting all this detail on small changes that would make a big difference for you managing clients in your practice.

    We'll continue to track the support this idea receives and I'll let you know if there are any updates planned.

  2. We are not able to search for clients (whilst in the Clients tab) using TFN or ABN.

    We are also not able to search using client's TFN or ABN when using Global Search.

    TFN and ABN are unique search identifiers and will return the correct client every time.

    Hi everyone, thank you for your support on the idea here.

    Right now, our product team are looking into the ability to search via TFN from the Client list.

    They're in exploration atm, so I'll keep you updated on further progress here.

  3. In the previous version of XPM, when updating a group member’s contact details (e.g. address), we had the option via a preview screen to confirm which fields to update and to whom else the update may apply to within that group. This functionality appears to be missing in the current Beta version.

    This feature made updating details across a client group more efficient.

  4. The date a Note is created needs to remain as the date on the Note.

    When a Notes is edited the date changes to the date it was edited. This needs to remain as the date the Note was created not changed everytime a Note is edited. For instance if it is used for incoming or outgoing mail and the letter was sent or received on the 30/09/2025 this needs to remain as the 30/09/2025. Currently if someone updates the Note on the 03/10/2025 the Note date changes to the 03/10/2025, so you no longer know when the letter was…

  5. When using client groups and clicking the Work in Progress Button, there is nothing showing when there is WIP in the group.

    It appears the group name is not pushing through the WIP link to the filter properly.

    Hi Ben, while WIP should be appearing for all the clients in the group our product teams have found an issue for some users where this isn't loading correctly.

    We have intentions to fix this however a couple of other items that they have attention on first, I'll share when work for this gets picked up. Thanks

  6. I note that when I am in the "Clients" and other tabs the top two toolbars (green and white) disappear when scrolling. It is very annoying that you can't see the client's name and other tabs at a glance. Is it possible that these two toolbars can remain static?

  7. With the new layout the old reports - even the customisable ones do not have all these new fields that can be chosen and exported.

    Eg there are now multiple phone fields which is great but I use this data to export to my phone system but now I cant.

  9. When we are archiving a client there should be the ability to archive the contacts (if they are not linked to an active client profile). Or at least be able to Archive them from the contacts page https://hq.xero.com/clients/contacts

    Currently the only option is to edit or delete, deleting is not a great option should you need to follow revisit something in the future.

    If you don't delete them, you are then left with the contact appearing in the suggestion list when trying to connect clients to a client profile.

  10. The process for entering addresses for clients needs to be easier and more streamlined. It should default to Australia (the overwhelming majority of clients have Australian addresses). You should also be able to copy street address to postal address, rather than having to reenter the data.

    Hi Megan, thanks for your feedback on the new Partner Hub experience when entering client addresses. Your input is valuable to and appreciated. We have moved this idea to Gaining Support and the Product team will be looking over all the feedback from our customers/partners so they can get a better idea of the experience and functionality of the new platform.     Hi Arnie, thanks for your feedback as part of the Xero Partner Hub beta.

    I can see you're already joined in this idea for the Salutation when adding a new contact and we'll keep you updated on that through the idea there.

    I've slightly adjusted the title of your idea here to focus on the 2nd point you've raised for adding a logo so we can get a view of the interest in this too. 🙂

  14. If the Job has a Partner and Manager - carry this across to the client view with a notification for the Admin to check if correct. Most of the time the Partner and Manager will be the same staff as in the job. Result more streamlined for reporting purposes in client manager.

  15. The previous post on this one has been closed for comments, but the resolution isn't complete. The invoices are allegedly now sorting by most recent invoice number first, but it doesn't work when you go over invoice 9999 to 10000 for example, 9999 is at the top and all the 10000's are further down the page (which is significant for weekly invoiced clients).

    Also invoices transfer from current to archived when there is any payment attached to the invoice, even if it is only part paid.

  16. There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.

    Thanks for sharing the details that'll help you better manage clients in your practice. With the new clients experience within Xero Partner Hub you'll soon have new client fields including the ability to enter multiple email and phone numbers so you'll have a place to record client mobile along with other contact numbers.

    Xero Partner hub will be rolling out to partners in early 2026. You can register your interest for early access on our website now. We'll return to update when this is rolled out.

  17. Currently we can update a clients physical/postal address and then update all those relevant in the group using the pop up 'Update relevant client addresses'. It would be so helpful and save time to be able to do this for the EMAIL address of a client.

  18. We need the ability to add multiple email addresses for a client. Not extra Contacts, but the main email address for a client. Currently you can only enter one email address, this is the address that tax payment letters (for example) are automatically sent to. However, some clients want these to go to more than one address. We have to keep a separate spread sheet and our Tax administrator needs to manually send tax payment letters to those clients.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the support and feedback this idea has continued to receive, and the appetite for being able to add multiple addresses to a Clients record.

    As you may have seen or read from our recent Xerocon announcement we have some exciting changes coming for our partners with Xero Partner Hub.

    One of the big changes with this is unifying Client experiences and bringing them into one place - Meaning with Xero Partner Hub you'll have the ability to add multiple addresses for a client 😊

    Hi everyone, we'd like to share an update on this idea with you all - As announced at Xerocon there are exciting changes coming for practices with Xero Partner Hub!

    With the Xero Partner Hub you'll have a unified client and staff experience. We'll be providing some additional Client detail fields including Date of Death for Individual / Sole Trader business structures.

    This'll be rolling out to all Xero partners in early 2026, with the beta being available from November, starting in Australia and New Zealand - Find out more on our website
