  3. I would like to visualise how draft bills and invoices affect my cashflow, something which I know is not possible at the moment. This would allow me to predict how multiple open quotes & projects could affect my financing requirements. Could this be added in future?

  4. Report builder offers the ability to print PDF reports which is great but if needing to use these for external purposes, e.g. a timesheet detail report to supplement an invoice, the criteria/header portion currently has to be printed also. It would be great to have an option to show/hide the criteria/header when printing to PDF.

  6. would be so much easier if the only amounts that show on the GST late file reports are amounts where the GST treatment has ACTUALLY changed. doing something as simple as changing a code in a filed period can create hundreds of pages of "late claim" adjustments but they are just in and out entries..... this also makes it harder to determine which entries have actually changed.

  9. In Account Transactions reports, you should be able to add a column for "modified date". This would be extremely helpful when reconciling between information submitted to HMRC and the information in the nominal. I am no QuickBooks fan, but this is one feature that they have that Xero does not.

  10. The ability to customer the Totals line of the Annual Reports so that they have the top line and Bottom Double line along with the figures having a $ sign. It doesn't right to just have the figure without the finishing touches.

  11. The functionality to allow for intercompany reporting when the currencies are different between the organisations - for this we would need to be able to create an asset/liability account in a currency other than the local currency. This would eliminate any Foreign exchange gains/losses on intercompany balances.

  12. Currently you can itemise NANE income on the P&L, however when doing annual accounts this NANE is not tranferred to the balance sheet. This shows an incorrect current year earnings.

    It would be great if you could replace the underscores with spaces when downloading PDF reports from Xero - currently we have to tidy this up before sending reports to clients which takes unnecessary time.

  14. Report to display how one (of several) bank accounts was reconciled by another user. Items to include Who (Contact) What (Account Selected and Description) Division and Tax Rate.

    This is to ensure the items were reconciled correctly, particularly overseas payments where NO GST must be selected. To check work of admin.

  15. We need a report that will give us a list of lapsed customers. We as a small business need to be in touch with customers who haven't had any transactions with us for 6 months or a year. It would be great to have a feature or report where we can easily find these customers. On our old accounting system, all of our customers had a " last invoice date" column so we could easily pull a report for any of these customers who hadn't been invoiced for 6 months or more.

  16. Purchase Order Reporting
    The current work around of using the Outstanding Purchase Orders Summary report lacks a lot of the vital info that's needed to manage Purchase Orders and create accruals at month end. A report that shows all the - coding, tracking codes, dates, who created and who approved, Description, etc and ability to run reports on only those that are not Billed and both with and without detailed lines would be more helpful.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback here. We appreciate there are more details some in the idea here would like to see around reporting of Purchase orders in Xero.

    We wanted to highlight for those in the conversation that it may help - There are Purchase order common formats in the Payable Invoice Detail report that you could use.

    For example, in the All purchase orders detail report, you can add a column to show the account, tracking and any other line item info you need.

    We want to be open that we don't have any plans right now for additional Purchase order reporting, however we'll continue to keep an eye on the idea here and share if there is any news.

  17. Ability to report on projects that have nil activity. Currently they do not show in the Project Summary Report until activity has been entered.

  18. The change if made in prior quarter should be made either available in amended Activity statement report or should carry forward till that particular financial year. Unfiled amount shouldn't be carried forward for infinite period of time.

  19. When calculating Leasehold Improvements as a Fixed Asset, the term is often not whole months even when using days it still does not calculate correctly for example we need to use 2.67 years to reconcile to our workbook.

  20. The option to show bills/expense in a Report on a Cash Basis. So show paid bills only not all bills,
    as per the Detailed Transaction Report if Xero. We need this option to show current expenses per project. The Detailed Transaction Report only shows this if you assign a Project through Tracking.
