    Hi everyone, thanks for your interest and good to see how we can be expanding capabilities for our users across the world.
    While we don't have plans of developing this in Xero, we have recently partnered with Parolla to offer a connected plug-in to your Xero organisation at no additional charge to users with an Ireland based org.
    Connected to Xero, Parolla will generate VAT3 returns for direct upload to Revenue Online Services, as well as generating Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) compliant payment files - Find out more here

  2. Quickbooks allows this: and 501c6 and 501c3 find this EXTREMELY useful. We don't budget by the month per se; we budget yearly.

  3. Ability to sort by Account Name or Code when customising reports, without having to show the detail of sort. e.g sort by account code without showing the code on published reports

    Hi team, appreciate not exactly what's being asked here but to confirm what's available at present. 

    In the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss you can now show Account code through the More option. From here, use the layout editor to drag & drop accounts to the order you'd like. 

    Once set up deselect the option to show Account code and your ordering will remain while the codes are not shown within the report. 

    You can also Save as custom so you can then access this layout anytime you need. 

    To go deeper with the insights for our team here, it's be good to know the specific reports you're wanting to see this feature in. 

  4. Ability to handle reverse charges for VAT EU in Xero Global edition.

    Purpose: It’ll save users time instead of having to use third party API or creating a second line with a negative amount.

  6. Xero Analytics Plus cashflow to show a year not just 90 days.
    The current cashflow upgrade from Xero only shows up to 90 day which is weird as in reality you need to forecast for the year. Is this going to be extended to a year like all the other cashflow apps ?

    Hi team, thanks so much for your engagement and for sharing your needs on this idea over time.

    While we don’t plan to build this into the Short-term Cashflow feature, we did want to highlight that similar functionality is available through Cash Flow Manager in the new Xero Analytics.

    With Cash Flow Manager, you can extend your forecast out to 180 days.

    We understand the original request was for a full 12-month forecast and the ability to set a custom date range. We've focused on a short-term forecasting tool in Xero that projects up to 180 days, and whilst we do not have plans to have extended projections longer term that now, there are other solutions - such as Syft that offer advanced forecasting tools as well for long-term projections.

  7. In the account transactions report, the reference for batch deposits (of invoices) should be the payment reference.

    Currently, the individual invoice numbers are presented for batch deposits when you run account transactions.

  8. Having the option to include a digital signature in the report templates, the ability to paste an image into the text section would suffice for this. Useful for the statement of disclaimer where the firm needs to sign off every report. Currently the only way to do this is by exporting the report to a PDF manager and pasting the signature in.

  9. Ability to insert forecasted figures into Xero and run a forecast report alongside the budget report. We get to half year and assess how on track we are with budget and more often than not it makes sense to adjust the forecast numbers for the remainder of the period but not lose sight of what the budget was in the first place.
    If we're able to run a report with actuals for YTD and forecast for the remainder of the period it would be hugely helpful

  10. The new Profit and Loss report does not filter the actuals AND budget by tracking category. You have to manually add the correct tracking category budget to the report. When you have 40 plus tracking categories this becomes time consuming and silly.

    The old profit and loss report did this easily. So the new report is a major step backwards

    Ensure the filter for the new profit and loss report filters BOTH actuals and budget, so the report is easy to produce and has meaning. Do not expect users to add the correct column for budget - particularly those less…

  11. Revise Activity Statement / IAS via Xero when a client has lodged their own IAS/BAS. It would be beneficial for tracking purposes if Xero offered the facility to unlock a submitted BAS/IAS to review & amend and relodge with the ATO. Whilst these can be revised via ATO Portal there is no tracking or record of an amendment in Xero

  12. It's unfathomable to me that it is not possible to do something as simple as output sales by state or by province or by country or by city. These are discreet fields in Xero and we ought to be able to filter a sales or P&L report to just include sales for some regions or to summarize by state or country. Right now all I can do is export all transactions and run everything through excel, which is not the way this should work. Thanks.

    Hi team, while not a fully fledged report you may find Smart Lists within a contact useful at present. 

    From Contacts you can set up and get a list of customers that meet certain rules that you've set up - such as 'Location' is and setting this to one or more locations your customers are based. 

  13. For the account transactions report please can you add more column options to include the contact/supplier name and entered date. This is helpful in analysing the transaction data further.

  14. Users should be able to generate a report of transactions without receipts attached. This allows small business administrators to identify which transactions don't yet have receipts attached.

    Hi community, thank you for engaging with us about your needs in a report to view where attachments have not been uploaded to a transaction.

    We get how this is a need for some businesses to validify expenses and process payments.

    Right now, this isn't in the teams roadmap, however we'd like to keep tracking the interest around this and will share if it is picked up in any future planning with you all here.

  15. Need option to display supplier bank details when running the supplier payments bank report. Key for bank approvers to easily verify bank details for supplier payments.

    Hey everyone, appreciate that this idea's intent is to help save user's time in calculating the VAT, but I wanted to share that it is possible to record partial VAT exemptions, for those who aren't aware. We will continue to to track interest in this idea but in the meantime you can:

    1. Calculate your own your partial exemption adjustment amounts
    2. Enter them as VAT box adjustments on your non-MTD or MTD VAT return

    Alternatively, if you use a set percentage adjustment you could do one of the following:

    • Add a custom Tax Rate for your % rate.
    • Adjust the VAT on each bill to the amount you can claim. Click the + next to the tax rate to do this. (You'll need to use the 'Amounts are' Tax Exclusive option to see it.)

    We recommend you talk to your accounting advisor or HMRC if you need more help with this.

  19. Thanks for adding the new "compare tracking categories" in the new Profit & Loss Report.

    However, even with this additional development the new version of Profit & Loss Report requires you to manually add each tracking category one by one. Having the feature of "select all" reinstated as the old version did would be really helpful.

    Having limited tracking categories to 200 isn’t helpful, previously Xero was able to search across an unlimited number of tracking categories, but only report on the active ones.

    I’m sure there are many users that have more than 200 tracking categories (not always active…
