    Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category. 

    The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run. 

  2. For the account transactions report please can you add more column options to include the contact/supplier name and entered date. This is helpful in analysing the transaction data further.

  3. At the moment Zero Rated GST can only be applied to Revenue items on the Chart of Accounts. When we deal with a property sale between GST registsred parties, the sale is also zero rated for GST purposes. We need the option to apply the 0% GST rate to asset codes as well as revenue codes. At the moment, we have to do a manual workaround.

  4. Similar to other "snapshots" available on the Dashboard, for any VAT registered business it is important to know liabilities at the click of a button. Please can Xero support look into an "add-on" for VAT liability total shown on the dashboard

    Hi community, we recognise it's been some time since our last update on this idea and apologise for the delay in coming back here.

    After our last post, priorities for the team did pivot and work for showing current VAT liability was put on hold.

    While not actively underway atm, we have intentions of surfacing an organisation's VAT liability total on the dashboard on our longer terms roadmap. While we'll move this idea to Accepted for now, as soon as there is movement we'll be back to update you again. Thanks

  5. It would be really useful to have a report the same as the "Billable Expense Report - Outstanding" that shows the same info but for paid invoices, preferably with the ability to filter by invoice number or bill number

    Thank you for sharing your feedback and voting on the idea here, community. While we've reviewed this idea and appreciate the needs in what you're wanting here, we want to be open that we don't have any plans for developing a billable expenses report of this nature in the near term.

    We will continue to track the interest here, and share if anything changes.

  6. Ability to allow a 13 month accounting period.

    Purpose: Because there are some industries that are benefited by getting 13 month/13 four weeks accounting period (e.g. restaurants that depends on running on a weekly sales basis).

  7. It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.

    A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

  8. Users should be able to generate a report of transactions without receipts attached. This allows small business administrators to identify which transactions don't yet have receipts attached.

    Hi community, thank you for engaging with us about your needs in a report to view where attachments have not been uploaded to a transaction.

    We get how this is a need for some businesses to validify expenses and process payments.

    Right now, this isn't in the teams roadmap, however we'd like to keep tracking the interest around this and will share if it is picked up in any future planning with you all here.

  9. I still don't understand why Xero rounds any amounts? Could we have an option to disable all rounding in Xero. I have just left MYOB after 10 years, they never did anything like this. I moved to Xero on advice from my accountant, starting to regret this! Leave it as an option for whoever is rounding stuff (very werid), but please give me a checkbox that totally disables rounding. Please!

  10. It would be great if a column could be added to either the Aged Receivables Report or the Receivable Invoice Detail Report that shows the number of days the invoice is overdue by.

    The number of days an invoice is overdue by can be seen on the 'Awaiting Payment' tab in the invoice section in Xero, but even on this part the information cannot be exported.

    Hi everyone, thanks for raising and supporting this idea of having more visibility or an alert when turnover is reaching the VAT threshold. This is something our team have picked up and taking a deeper dive into. No promises at this point but we'll keep you updated of any news here.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the additional feedback and support we've received on this idea since my last update.

    While we have help on how to find VAT report discrepancies, do understand how you'd like a 1 single report that you can easily segment for this review.

    This isn't something we have plans for at present, but we are continuing to track and will share if there are any updates of this nature planned with you all here. Thanks

  13. Under Custom Reports

    I send out reports to my departments each month, this morning it took 4 hours to add the tracking codes to the new P & L reports (we love the new report and so do our Department Heads).
    I was wondering if there is a way of saving each custom report for each individual dept with their tracking within a folder. We have a Junior and Senior Campus and about 45 departments at each. We already have a lot of custom reports so having a folder system would allow each Admin staff member to access what they…

    There's no facility to create folders in the Reports Centre for this sort of categorisation atm. 

    We'll begin tracking support in this here. 

  14. Include the option to enter the Registered User's UTR number in CIS verifications as well as the Organisations UTR number which will allow partnerships to be verified - HMRC need both to verify a partnership.

  16. The Supplier Bill Activity report is great for showing transactions for a Supplier if you operate only with one currency.
    However, for accounts with Multicurrency, it should also include optional columns for the Source Currency amounts and when showing just one currency, the balances in that currency in the list of columns.

    Thanks for the ongoing support in this idea, team. I want to be upfront that we don't currently have any plans for adding Discuss to reports however we'd like to keep tracking the support of this with community here, and will share if there are any changes to update you of.

  19. Would it be possible to create an annual CIS subcontractor statement, showing the Gross, CIS deductions and net payments for all 12 months in the tax year please?

    Hi team, we appreciate interest in a specific annual CIS statement. While this isn't in our immediate plans right now you can run the CIS Contractor return for a custom date range.

    If you then select individual subcontractors and download this will be the annual statement.

    We'll continue to track interest from community in the idea here and if there's any news will share for you all.

  20. Ability to choose a cost limit for a fixed asset when the depreciation method is set to 'Full Depreciation at Purchase'.

    For instance a car is purchased for over the cost limit, therefore only $64k or so is able to be written off immediately with the balance to sit as an undepreciable amount.

    Currently the full depreciation at purchase method writes off the whole amount, and diminishing value at 100% with a cost limit will still pro-rata the depreciation for the year and not write off the full cost limit amount.
