    Appreciate the feedback from everyone here, and hearing the value you'd find in being able to add a clients logo to reports and make them look more professional.

    Being upfront, this isn't somethign we have plans for developing right now, but I can assure you your feedback is heard by our product teams and they are keeping a watchful eye on the idea.

    Hi community, I know it's been some time since our last update here. Though we're continuing to follow and track the interest in automatic calculation of wine equalisation tax within Xero, for the time being this isn't something we've planned.

    As some may have received detail from our support team on there is a way we suggest you can record your WET liabilities and credits within Xero - See our post on this discussion for the detail. Alternatively, there are app partners you could explore on the Xero app store.

    If there are any changes around this we will be back to share with you all on this idea.

  3. Users should be able to generate a report of transactions without receipts attached. This allows small business administrators to identify which transactions don't yet have receipts attached.

    Hi community, thank you for engaging with us about your needs in a report to view where attachments have not been uploaded to a transaction.

    We get how this is a need for some businesses to validify expenses and process payments.

    Right now, this isn't in the teams roadmap, however we'd like to keep tracking the interest around this and will share if it is picked up in any future planning with you all here.

  4. Include notes that have been left on transactions in the 'Discuss' tab on the Bank Reconciliation Summary Report.

    Thanks for the ongoing support in this idea, team. I want to be upfront that we don't currently have any plans for adding Discuss to reports however we'd like to keep tracking the support of this with community here, and will share if there are any changes to update you of.

    Hi team, we appreciate interest in a specific annual CIS statement. While this isn't in our immediate plans right now you can run the CIS Contractor return for a custom date range.

    If you then select individual subcontractors and download this will be the annual statement.

    We'll continue to track interest from community in the idea here and if there's any news will share for you all.

  7. When in account transactions (or any report where you can select a date range) have a button to move that date range one month forwards or one month back.

    For example if you have the date range selected as 01.08.2022-31.08.2022 have a backwards button that would change this automatically to 01.07.2022- 31.07.2022 or a forwards button that would change this to 01.09.2022-30.09.2022 without having to go in and manually change the date to every month.

    This would be very helpful when doing detailed reconciliations on a monthly basis so you can move between the months much quicker. I know you…

    Hi everyone, we appreciate interest in a setting within the Account transactions report that would allow you to move forward a period or back a period from what's currently set.

    In openness, this isn't something we have any plans for developing in the near term but we will continue to track the community interest of here.

    While not exactly what's being asked in this idea I did want to highlight the Common date selections that are available within the report atm with the ability to easily select 'This month' or 'Last month'.

    If there is any news of improvements for dates that'd accommodate what you're after here, we'll update you all.

  8. Hi Xero Team,

    We are in the process of registering Xero as our Computerized Books of Accounts with the BIR. In line with this, we would like to share some suggestions that may help Xero meet the BIR requirements.

    For report generation, it would be helpful if the footer could include:

    The type of book,

    A timestamp and date,

    The name of the person who generated the report, and

    The software version number.

    At present, the footer only shows the date and type of report. Adding the generator’s name, exact time, and version number would make the reports more aligned…

    Please note Xero operates on a continuous delivery model, which means we're constantly updating and improving our software. Unlike traditional software Xero doesn't have version numbers or release dates so we are unable to provide this information.

  9. Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.

    Hi team, we appreciate interest in being able to create more customised layouts when it comes to the styling of the PDF's of your reports.

    Being upfront this isn't a feature we have immediate plans around but we'd like to keep tracking the interest from community around, through this idea.

  10. Please update depreciation schedule to allow for custom percentages per year, for small business in SA it is allowed to depreciate 50% / 30% / 20% over three years but there is no viable way to implement currently.

    HI team, we're grateful for your involvement and sharing through product ideas. To let you know, currently we don't have any plans for developing the ability to add custom percentages in the depreciation schedule.

  12. Suggested improvements to Receivable Invoice Detail - Top Customers report.

    The definition of this report is attached. It provides a list of sales invoices and credit notes by contact.

    If a customer has an overpayment on their account, the report incorrectly treats this cash payment as a sales credit note and reduces the customer's sales figure by the overpayment. Please can this report be corrected to only include sales invoices and sales credit notes? Thank you.

    currently TB report shows ending balances for current year in db/cr two columns AND in single column Clubbed up remaining balances +/- in when COMPANRED to previous periods.

    I propose/request IT to make TB more classic by

    1. showing ALL remaining balances in two columns DB/CR when comparing previous years
    2. OPENING and CLOSING balances columns to be available (year selected from starting of fiscal year Jan20xx)
    3. TB report to ALLOW us to SELECT RANGE of dates (Range based TB)
    4. MOVEMENT (total Debits Total Credits) for the selected DATE and/OR RANGE should be available. CURRENTLY this is available in GL…

    Hi Yaseen, thank you for this incredibly detailed and well-thought-out suggestion for the Trial Balance report.

    We can see how much manual work you're doing, combining exports from the GL Summary Report, just to create a "classic" comparative Trial Balance for your auditors. That's exactly the kind of difficult workflow we want to help improve.

    Your proposal to enhance the report with separate debit/credit columns for comparatives, clear opening/closing balances, and a movement column for a selected date range is very clear.

    We're grateful for your engagement and for letting us know the changes that matter to you. We've reviewed your idea and now it can gain support from other community members.   14. We need to be able to select "All Dates" on a report. ex. I want to see a report for a certain account from the start of my business to the current date. now I need to select beginning date and then todays date and the update.

    Thanks for sharing this great idea for improving efficiency in reports.

    For anyone looking to achieve this now, you can view transactions across all time by selecting a custom date range in your reports. By setting the start date to your organisation's first transaction date and the end date to today, you can get a full historical view of your data.

    We see the value in your suggestion to add a preset 'All Time' or 'All Dates' option, which would make this process a faster, one-click action.

  15. Case CX0013378184 - Aged Receivables / Payables Reports have changed - Please re-insert "0.00" balance Current Column

    We urgently request that the “0.00” balance “Current" column be put back into the Aged Receivables / Payables Reports

    XERO has just changed the format of the Aged Receivables / Payables Report to NOT show the "Current" column on the Reports if there is a "0.00" balance.

    This is a huge Problem to us as a company with the way in which we do our reporting as we need that column to show. I cannot see the benefit of why this was changed…

  16. Create Syft Analytical reports & Dashboard customised by accounting periods. Our company doesn't follow Calendar months- so it will be good to compare and analyse reports based on our accounting periods and not calendar.

  17. I quite like the dash board feature and shared it with some clients. However, when they click on the link, it rolls over to current period. It would be good to either integrate this with reporting or allow a dashboard to be saved so it can be shared to show data at a point in time

  18. New Tracking Report has no summary option - the existing summary option will be retired in November meaning more work will be involved in manually working out the summary balance for each tracked item. Please give a summary option similar to "old" report that is being retired.

  19. One of the key steps in preparing client financials is to ensure accounts, especially newly added ones, are assigned to the correct report code. I had the favourited on every client in the old navigation for quick access as it's something I need almost every time. It'd like that back.

  20. On the Fixed Asset Register can there be a column for showing Tracking Catergories?

    We deal with clients in the Hospitality Industry and a portion of them operate multiple sites.

    It would be handy to have an option in the Fixed Asset Register so we can quickly identify which assets belong to Pub A, Pub B, Pub C etc.

    The inclusion of a filter to only show the Fixed Assets of a particular site would also be a huge benefit.

    We know that the Register can be exported to Excel which will show the Tracking Catergories but something within Xero…
