  1. Currently remittance advice can be sent based on payments. It is not possible to send multiple remittances at the same time without using the batch payment method.

    As we have a lot to send, is it possible to look into some ways to send some remittance advice in a more efficient way for cases like with several payments to one person or multiple advice to multiple receivers? Or any automation for regular ones? Instead of downloading PDF one by one / sending email by payments one by one?

    Hi team, we appreciate the feedback here and how an easier method of sending Remittance would be useful for some users.

    While this isn't in the direct pipeline just yet we're staying close to the ideas around this in the forums here and will be sure to notify you of any progress.

  2. Send an email when a draft invoice (or bill) is created automatically.
    When a draft invoice is created automatically, I want to be notified. By definition/design, it needs human attention before getting approved and issued. So I would like a human to be told it has happened.

  3. I propose an update to the formatting of the cheque stubs so that summarize the list of bills that are being paid by cheque on the stub, not the individual line items.

    I have a client that owns 12 franchise restaurants. Some of the bills that are received have to be split 12 ways. if multiple bills are received, we're looking at that many more lines on the stub. Can we please update the format of the stub to summarize the bills that are being paid to avoid confusion for vendors?

    The attached stub is a payment for 3 bills.

  5. Purchase Orders Send Email Features.
    This is to request the Product team to please also update the Send Email settings for the Purchase Order to make work efficient and clear to multiple recipients if they are only on CC.
    Attached the screenshot of the latest update Xero had made for Invoice Send Email in which the CC and BCC is in the sending option. It is very helpful for the multiple receiver where in the business communication, we need to CC multiple emails than putting every email in the sending to space.

    Hi team, as part of the work we're doing in the new Purchase orders experience the team will be bringing the same send experience from invoicing into the purchase orders send.

    This means features like the ability to CC and BCC when sending a Purchase order will soon be possible 😁

    I'll swin back to confirm once this is delivered so you can start making use.

  6. In Xero I’m able to use my purchase order templates that I created with docx.

    I was hoping to keep things consistent when generating POs from XIP. I don’t see that I can alter the templates.

  7. Xero Inventory Plus should be an option, similar to Expenses and Projects, for any/all users regardless of roles. I need everyone on my team to see where our inventory stands.

  8. When creating a new Bill, and after uploading the invoice then viewing the attached invoice, the attached invoice displays on top of the bill entry form. This is very frustrating.

    Please change to display the attached invoice to the left of the form, same as is the case when opening a draft Bill that was created by emailing Xero.

  9. Add a send remittance button once a payment is made via the new Direct Bank Transfer Feature.

    I previousley made batch payments via Wise and once the payments went through there was a button to send remittances. This feature is not available when using the new Direct Bank Transfer option. You have to maunally send each remittance advice from the banking screen which is a poor use of time and there is the chance that a remittance advise will be missed or sent twice.

  10. When entering a new bill, sometimes the VAT value is out by a few pence.

    A spinner button added to the 'Tax Amount' column to quickly increase or decrease the value rather than having to delete and retype would be convenient.

  11. Please implement a feature allowing users to add billable expenses assigned to Projects directly to an existing draft invoice.

    Currently, users can only add billable expenses directly to a draft invoice if the expense is assigned to a Customer. When expenses are assigned to a Project, they can only be invoiced through Projects. This causes issues when an expense assigned to a Project is has been missed, and needs to be added to the draft invoice. The current workaround requires deleting the draft invoice and starting the invoicing process again, which is time-consuming and inefficient.

  13. The Contact Financial Details Reference field used to be populated with the last reference entered for a customer in the Customer Invoice Batch Clearing reference field. I have many customers paying by ACH or Zelle and have the same reference information each week. For my customers that I have had for a long time the reference field is copied from the Contact Financial Details Reference. But for any new Customers this functionality does not work and the field is blank in Batch Clearing. So I have to enter the reference for each blank line on the batch. Please add the…

  14. It would be good to be able to set a mark up margin for loaded products and services. This way when our cost goes up we could just alter the cost price and it would automatically adjust the sale price rather than us having to work it out for every item and load it manually.

  16. Payment processing - when we make a bulk payment on the bills screen they should be sent to a separate tab so that its easy to see when payments are being processed. This would remove the risk of duplication of accidentally processing bulk payments twice.

    Hi Sherif, thanks for sharing your feedback here . In trying to better understand your idea it sounds like you're using online bill payments?

    Once this is set up you'll be able to view a separate page called Manage bill payments on which you'll be able to view the batch status and can get a quick view of the total # of bills that are being processed in that payment which you can click into to get more of the detail. Does this provide what you're after here?

In the list view of "bills awaiting approval" it would be really helpful to have an option to display a column with the account the bill has been assigned to, and the VAT; this is the two items I need to check before approving bills and being able to just tick and approve most would save so much time.

  18. Inventory - We are considering switching to Xero from Sage50, but have come across the issue of not being able to add an inventory item's "Bin Location" to the packing slip. We could include the bin location in the description of the item, but we don't want this to appear on the customer invoice. We only want the item's location to appear on the Packing Slip for the warehouse operatives to locate the items easily.

  19. In the batch payment transaction screen you have the individual supplier name, bill reference, due date and payment amount but it would be helpful to have the bill date as well

    Hi team, we appreciate the idea here is more surrounding the ability to create rules to help curate the automated entry of data in bills created via the email to bills process.

    However, I did just want to confirm the existing options that are available to help with the automatic entry of your bills as there are multiple paths you could explore.

    As per this idea, in it's current form email to bills will use the data of your emailed file to automatically create a bill and fill fields.

    There is also Hubdoc that you can connect to your organisation and use to publish bills to your organisation, and most recently we introduced Upload where you can upload multiple files to Xero at once to create multiple draft bills.

    We don't have any plans around expanding email to bills to add the ability to set rules. but we'll continue to…
