Hi community, we've released our first update to history and notes of new invoicing, where you can now view more detail of changes such as where an issue or due date has been altered or the amount of your invoice is changed. There's more improvements for this space coming soon and I'll keep you up to date with these, here.

Hi all, thanks for feeding back on the ways you work with invoicing and what you'd like to see with new invoicing in Xero.
Our team are reviewing the flow when copying an invoice and having the contact name automatically populate.
In the way this currently works, once you add a contact to the new(copied) invoice any defaults you've applied to a contacts record will then be applied to the invoice. This flow of default application is something the team will consider as part of their review and what works best for majority of users.

An error occurred while saving the comment Heather Palmer commentedOpt in for einvoices - Go into your BILLS screen and you will see the option in the screen shot added and you wont need to add the subscription invoice into xero via the email or any other way like hubdoc either.
Once you have done the above go into the subscription & Billing area, select Manage Subscription, select the menu BILLING ACCOUNTS to the right of the name there are three dots click on that and select EDIT BILLING CONTACT around the middle of that screen there is an option for xero bills to be e-invoices, check the box put in your abn and confirm. - It works like a dream, I get all my clients to do that as well, and the ones I hold the subscription for I have done it as well.

Hi Paul-John, appreciate your feedback here. Our team are constantly reviewing new as well as sharing and rallying for many of the trending ideas across the site here.
Hopefully you feel more of the interaction overtime.
We take ideas seriously and this does mean sometime may need to be put into evaluating an idea internally before it's position is updated in the community here. There are many factors that weigh into the product decision and development process that extend beyond the site alone and some ideas require careful consideration from multiple areas and people throughout the business. Hi everyone, we wanted to return and give a little more information with the update of this idea's status.
Our product team are currently looking into the development of adding the Pay now button to Customer statements which would enable your customers to pay for multiple invoices at once.
Though it's early days at present we'll keep you updated of their progress, here.

please default to the most recent timesheet, if I go and look for a timesheet the first time I go in there it defaults to the oldest one in 2016, it is a pain and I am sure you can default it to the MOST RECENT instead of the MOST OLDEST
