Hi community, first off thank you for the continued interest and feedback surrounding this idea. We’re continuing to build on the bank reconciliation experience in Xero and recognise the ways this feature will help improve the efficiency, flexibility and transparency of transactions in your business. Our team have done a lot of exploration into being able to surface and match Credit Notes when reconciling your bank account in Xero, and this is now in development.
We’ll shift the idea here into ‘Working on it’ and continue to update as there’s more detail of this to share.

Hi Maddy, may depend on how the stock is being recorded in Xero and reconciled with Figured - would the Inventory Item Details report be of use here?
You could group by Item name, include Expense, Inventory & Revenue accounts, as well as QoH movement to view the total # of units sold in the period you're running the report for.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tracy McGuigan commentedA Quantity Column would be great for anyone. We enter quantities for labour, purchases, sales, etc and don't need to use inventory but to be able to produce a report that at a glance tells us how many hours have been charged on a sale without going to the actual invoice would be effficient.

Hi everyone, an update to my earlier message:
This change was specific to users of the Australian payroll.
Apologies, and we'll shift this idea back to 'Submitted' so we can continue to track and share if there are developments in New Zealand Payroll.
However, at the moment this is not in the team's plans.
- If you operate across multiple regions, and are interested in reading more, I've updated this idea. which is specific to AU.
Thanks for your understanding.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tracy McGuigan commentedThis is an issue in a number of my clients who do not understand why annual leave is in hours and holiday accrual is in dollars. They keep thinking they accrue hours on the payslips which causes stress between management and staff as they try to use the holiday dollars as hours to take leave with.

Thanks for your feedback and interest in the idea here. We appreciate the desire for being able to enable employees to make these changes themselves.
While this is something the team will continually review as they keep developing Payroll for Australia, we want to be open that this is not in the direct plans atm.
If there are any changes or progress for developing this we'll be sure to come back and update you on this, here.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tracy McGuigan commentedHave a number of employees confused over the $ part of holidays and think they are accruing 80 hours rather than $80 per pay period. They just don't understand why annual leave is in hours and holiday pay is in dollars

It would be amazing if the GL could run the quantity & unit price columns like Receivable & Payables Invoice Detail reports do but ... these reports only work if the details are entered through invoices and bills. AND do not include GST exclusive column amount - only Gross including GST
