  1. The ability to bulk update staff charge out rates in Project Tasks. Running many projects and therefore many many in progress tasks. Needing to duplicate a task and create a new charge rate is both tedious and cumbersome. Unless you export to excel and manually change data, you are unable to get an accurate snap shot of the financial status of the project as charge out rates are outdated. Currently when exporting invoices, I am needing to individually update staff rates to reflect the current times.

  2. Old payslips should retain the correct postal address for the employee for that time period. Don't update the previous payslips, just move forward with the new address for new payslips. People use their payslips for various different reasons, and tracking/validating their address history etc can be one of them!

  3. Could you move the navigation buttons in the Financial Statements format (or any format with multiple pages) to the sticky bar at the bottom so you don't have to scroll to the top of the page to move between pages. some format pages are extremely long and it is a waste of precious time

  5. On the taskbar, it would be useful to have a dropdown option to link through to the last few pages that you have accessed. Maybe the last 10 pages accessed would be good, a mixture of recent searches and recent transactions. I know QBO has this and I use it a lot for navigating.

    For example, when I run a P&L and drill down to a specific bill, sometimes I would make an amendment to said bill. When I save and go back it spits me out at the CoA when I want to return to the P&L. So instead…

    Hi team, appreciate the thoughtful feedback in your idea here and while not a complete solve for what's being asked I did want to highlight for this specific scenario you may find favouriting reports useful. This will make that report easily navigable from the Reporting menu in our new navigation 🙂

    Also, just another tool that might help to find items that have recently been edited - the History & Notes could be used and filtered to quickly see what transactions have been edited.

    While we don't have immediate plans for enabling these sort of breadcrumbs our teams are continuously thinking about the logic and flows as they keep developing Xero features.

  6. Employers are only required to pay superannuation guarantee up to a quarterly threshold (maximum contribution base). At the moment Xero doesn’t cap the super at this level, and will allow super above the cap to be booked. (In fact, to limit the super at the cap requires a work-around adding 2 lines, one with 0% super and another with the fixed amount up to the cap.). Employers can easily overpay their employees’ super. This functionality needs to be built into Xero.

    Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback and I do want to apologise for any confusion my update's caused. You're correct in that the responsibility outlined in my response is relevant to the concessional contribution cap. Seeing your responses today, we now appreciate that the idea here is specifically around the maximum contribution base.

    I want to assure you this is something our product teams are paying close attention to and though we don't have any immediate plans we can share, we will consider this request as we continue to plan our roadmap - We encourage you to share any further details on your experiences related to managing the maximum contribution base as these will be helpful to the product team as they assess this feature.

  8. Please add an opening balance for the Working Holiday Maker tax rate

    When a Working Holiday Maker (WHM) reaches the earning threshold of $45000 they must be taxed 32.5% (instead of 15% prior to $45K per financial year). When an employee is set up in Xero as a WHM this tax calculation is automatic as along as the full $45K was earned with the current employer. If the employee has earned $45K prior to starting with a new employer Xero will calculate the WHM tax as 15% instead of 32.5% and there is no option to set an opening balance.…

Currently this badge is displayed for the additional people only when there's at least a first name associated with them, but often our "additional people" are only email addresses with no first/last names, an the only way to see whether the "included in emails" option has been enabled for them is to enter two nested edit modes (4 clicks total). This is really unnecessary. Just display the badge if the box has been checked!

  10. Add Notes reference for Statement of Cash Flows for totals.
    When preparing financial statements it is not possible to add a Notes reference for total lines. This is extremely frustrating as we normally have a note reconciling the net operating cash flows to the net operating profit. This requires PDF correction after exporting from Xero.

    Please add functionality to add a Notes reference for total lines in financial statements.

    Hi team, as mentioned in my last update this is already possible with the option to export invoices as a CSV. This will download your invoices with the detail in a CSV format that could be used for some of the purposes described here.

    I want to be open that we don't have any plans at this time for enabling a download of multiple invoices at a time as separate PDF documents.

    While the idea will moved to Not in pipeline voting will remain open, and if it does pick up traction from the community we may revisit.

  14. It should be possible to suspend users without deleting them. This should cut off all accesses but should preserve the account /username itself. This is a basic functionality of user access control which is surprisingly absent from Xero. This preserves the user ID incase someone suddenly leaves the company or is suspended from duties for whichever reason.

Bank reconciliation - A report that will show each bank transaction and then which invoice it has been reconciled against, as a way of having a quick way to check something has been reconciled incorrectly. Currently, the only way is to view each transaction through the account transaction report.
