  5. A type of tax code should be possible in which the tax is subtracted from, rather than added to, the invoiced amount for that line item.

    Rationale: Many countries require that a foreign supplier's invoice be subject to withheld tax if the supplier doesn't have a satisfactory tax treaty entitlement.

    Example:

    We use a reverse-invoice process for our Australian supplier to record payments due to them based on our activity. This activity often attracts a royalty fee that we must pay.

    The UK requires us to withhold 5% of this royalty fee, and pay this over HMRC quarterly.

    Or, would this flow be more helpful when approving invoices from a 'Draft or Awaiting approval status? 

  7. Multiple sections in a single quote with their own separate totals.

    Purpose: when quoting on similar products with different pricing to present to a client, with their own separate totals. Currently, we have to send a separate quote to the same client which means they're receiving multiple emails from us.

  8. In Projects

    When invoice is created from Projects ( I have Six Staff) It automatically orders this in name order and has mutiple date entries from the Latest date entered.
    I then have to ferry each date up the page to order these chronologically so i have the earliest date and each staff member for this date (before starting to add matarials etc)
    To make it easier for my clients to read what is entailed for each day.
    We need a button to convert invoice to date order as on big jobs this takes me over half an hour ??

    Appreciate the interest shown on the idea here, everyone. Atm, we don't have any plans for adding a specific field for a Contact / Business Registered name. 

    While not a perfect solution as another user has shared, perhaps adding the name to the contact's address field could help surface this detail where required at present. 

    We'll continue to gauge interest in this, and share if there are any updates. 

  11. We write paper checks for some of our clients using a blank check style format. It would be nice to be able to insert a scanned signature on the signature line on the check style. This would enable the authorized signature to print on all checks printed.

  12. From "business" then "bills to pay" or "invoices" and click on "export" from a search result, the payment dates are missing in both the Invoices and Bills export files. Only the invoice dates and due dates are exported. Please add payment dates to the reports. Thanks.

  13. Listing Time Entries in Chronological Order in Invoicing for Projects.

    As raised in support case CX0012531595 - I use projects to create invoices for clients and show time entries for all tasks - the problem is that the draft invoice seems to put all the entries in random order rather than a date order - there is no way to sort by date so that it reads chronologically for the client. Interestingly you can run a report to list entries by date, so that functionality exists in the platform but it needs to be brought into invoicing. I have seen…

  14. Stop repeating invoices being changed to draft when the author/owner/user that added it has been deleted.

    Right now when a repeating invoice template has been created by a user who has since been deleted, the repeating invoice template option will be reverted to 'save as draft'.

After creating a purchase order, sometimes the stock arrives before the purchase invoice arrives (or the bookkeeper is only in for a day a week and so the purchase invoice cannot be entered for a few days). I would like to see a button on the purchase order page to be able to add the items to stock, so that the items can then be sold.

    Hi all, appreciate there's some interest in the idea here and the needs somewhat relate to those represented in the idea across here.

    To note, where needing to change the account of lines of a bill at a later date, one option would be to post a manual journal if for an individual bill. Alternatively, you could look at using Find & recode to update the account of bills that have been paid if needing to do this on more of a bulk basis - we'd recommend connecting with your advisor and testing in the demo company before actioning this.

    Hello everyone, thanks for voting and commenting on this idea. Available right now is the short-term cash flow dashboard, which is a tool that visualises your future bank balance based on upcoming bills and invoices. The Analytics Plus version of this dashboard allows you to look 90 days into the future, and can make predictions for recurring cash transactions based on your spend and receive money history. 


    At this stage there are no plans to extend out the timeframe of this tool, or to account for balance sheet items but we’ll keep monitoring this idea, so please continue to add your feedback here on how this feature can improve your workflow.
