  5. Upon capturing a supplier bill in Xero, is it possible to have Email option to send an acknowledgement to the supplier for accepting the bill? Email option is there in Invoice, same way can we have the feature enabled in Bills as well?

  6. When changing the year end for a client, it would be nice if previous year's could be locked in dates, fixed assets, etc.
    Once the year end is changed, it seems to amend the dates for the previous year in all reports too, if (for example) the new year end means the current "year" runs to 13+ months (such as when the year end is extended): it's hard to get the comparative period in any popular reports to show the previous year as it was filed.
    And especially in the TB, I can't get it to show a period for…

  7. At the moment, if dates are locked, you can't see transactions in Find and Recode prior to that date. I often use Find and Recode to check the previous coding of contacts/accounts and in order to see them I need to unlock dates and then relock them again. It would useful if they could still be viewed despite dates being locked but perhaps those prior to the lock date are greyed out to show they can't be changed?

  8. When I send a paid invoice pdf to a customer I would like it to show the original currency and also the currency they paid in. I'd also like it to show the exchange rate of the payment, rather than the Xero calculated currency. At the moment this field isn't available in the docx merge fields.

  9. To have an account overdue notice pop up on invoice screen once customer name is entered. If a customer has an outstanding account - the reminder and amount overdue to pop up as a bit of a warning to the owner whether they should be continuing to do business with this customer, or at least until the account is settled. (I believe reckon account have this feature available and at my previous employment we found this to be most useful)

  10. It would save so much time if there was the ability to drag and drop the bank account order in the bank accounts screen (so it changes the order in the drop down menus). It is very cumbersome clicking the bank accounts up one step at a time especially when you have over 30 bank accounts!

  11. Discounts - the ability for the discounts in sales to be allocated to an expense account rather than distorting sales figures. At the moment each line item has the cost of the item then applies say 10% discount equals net which then is allocated to the sales account. I would like the option to allocate discounts to an expense called discounts given so that we can track and show the correct sales figures. By distorting sales figures you could be affecting calculations like WET. other programs allows you to setup discounts given & taken and freight even.

  12. Have automatic superannuation payments be able to be paid via credit card, through xero. Currently there seems to only be the ability to make automatic payment via direct debit but it would be good if it could be made by a credit card.

  13. When looking at the Pay Run / Pay Run History page, please add number of employees in each pay run to the overview. We report on this each pay period and would make more sense to be shown here then having to click into the pay run or

  14. When you create repeat invoices it only allows discount in % but when you create a manual invoice you can have discount in % or £. This should allow both for repeat invoices as well.

  15. A report to show transactions that have been posted including the account code and the projects that the transactions have been assigned to with data parameters.

    We reconcile the sales, direct costs and gross profit amounts from the project summary report to the same amounts in the profit and loss report but currently there is no way to identify differences when they arise. The above report will really be helpful!

  18. It would be useful to have the sick leave anniversay and next entitlement date visible OR to be able to pull a reprot for this. As it stand, the current way to access this is very clunky. It needs to be automated.

  19. We have to use find and recode each month for adjusting certain batches of transactions. These are the same combination of searches used monthly to find and recode.

    It would be useful to be able to name and save or favourite search criteria for quick recall each month. (Looking back at previous searches is ok, but not obvious which is which until you click into them).

  20. Could the batch payment run on the bank feed be split to contact amount on the bank feed. At present I run a batch payment in xero which is quicker and I can send out all the relevant remittance advices to suppliers. However I haven't got a batch facility on my bank so enter these payments manually for each individual supplier.

    This means when I come to reconcile the bank I have to delete the xero batch payment run and match up the invoices again via the bank reconciliation. This feels like I am doing the work twice, and notes…
