When you are entering a Bill to Pay, the Creditor bank account number that you have stored on their contact comes up as a window at the top, so you easily compare with the bank account number with the bank account number on the invoice.   5. It would be really useful if Bills autosaved to Drafts - as happens when you enter an Invoice. Because Invoices are autosaved, you are in that mindset and can often forget that you have to click Save or Approve for a Bill to be logged.

When adding opening balance of YTD gross salary, tax and superannuation from the processed payroll from other payroll software, in the employees, it should be also included in the total expense, liability respectively. Currently, it's not coming in P & L account or balance sheet. Pleasee rectify it.

In Australia, if your company wants to offer training services for a recognized Qualification, like an Apprenticeship or Traineeship, and (in particular) claim the associated subsidies from the Government, then the RTO Company must be registered with the Government training/education department.

    Under that system, the RTO company has a contract with the department, which stipulates in detail the matters that the RTO’s operation must comply with.

  12. It would be great to be able to run a profit by contact report. You already have the ability to add purchase prices for different products on xero and an income by customer report, but would be great to see gross profit for each customer, to know what sort of customers are the most profitable.

    Not directly within the Profit & Loss report, however there are a couple of options that you could find handy -

    As inventory was mentioned - Smart lists that can be run within Contacts could enable you to view segment and view customers based on purchases, payments and locations within a period.

    Alternatively, we've made a lot of improvements to Xero's newer reports and you could view the top 10 customers in a graph and their spending with you on the Income by Contact report.

  14. HubDoc is a great app but it is frustrating to use in the browser version as the left hand column doesn't display enough characters and the user cannot drag-to-expand the column width.

    So to let us see the entire 'Tags' description please enable expand this column.

    Hi Paul, while we don't have any immediate work planned for this is there an ideal # of items you'd like to set as a default per page? 


    Just to keep things transparent, in the way features in Xero are developed, it's unlikely that this would be implemented across all areas at once. You may notice with the recent update we have being rolled out in the Reconcile page you can now see 50 statement lines at once. Also from within Products and Services, if you change the # of items per page, this selection will be held when you navigate away. A couple of exceptions for this would be if working in incognito mode or switching between browsers. 

  16. To be able to adjust the widths of the preset headings (Date, Name, Reference, Spent and Received) when you are trying to find and match in the bank reconciliation screen.

  17. We use an invoice as a template to take up daily sales from the external POS system, and there are a large number of different line items with different account allocations. There is an issue at the moment with the chosen account allocation not saving to the account selected, with a seemingly random default account chosen by the system, which I believe is a known issue that the Product Team is investigating.

    As part of solving that problem, it would be great if the account allocation isn't shown on the finalised invoice for any lines with a $0 value.

  19. The mobile app currently does not ask you to confirm your password when you setup a pin for your account. If you were to miss-enter your pin, which is easy to do, you essentially immediately lock yourself out of your account. The system should ask for a pin, then ask you to confirm the pin before finalising it, allowing you to go back a step if you enter in the wrong pin.

  20. The report should be able to generate Employee Name (First & Last in separate columns), DOB, TFN, Bank Details provided, Super Funds & Address.

    We need various information like from time to time for reporting purposes but we cannot get it without having to click in to every single employees - which is hectic
