  1. BNZ do not provide receivers with online access to accounts. Xero only allow BNZ bank feeds to be updated online. Receiving timely access to transactions is very important but BNZ & Xero have decided to cease this feature and not provide a solution for all customers.

  2. In the settings for Included in emails be able to specify which emails. For instance you have two people who receive and approve quotes. You don't want to send quotes to the account that processes invoices. The account that processes invoices only wants invoices and the people who approved the quotes don't necessarily want to be copied in on the invoices.
    I imagine this would be a tick bock for Quote, Invoice, Credit, Purchase order, Bill, next to each include in setting.

  5. Would it be possible to be able to select Quantity on Order as a column option in the Inventory Item Summary report.
    Such feature would greatly enhance the product overview in this report.

  6. A setting in the backend to turn on/off to find and match transactions within a certain amount (i.e.-/+0.05).

    These are usually (if not always a rounding adjustment). It's currently a 4-step process to add a minor adjustment.

    Also, selecting minor adjustment or bank fee, can the difference auto populate in the amount field?!!

  7. Can we please view more than the current bank statement lines in cash coding?
    At the moment you can only view 4 bank statement lines in the cash coding tab. Date, Payee, Reference & Description.

    We have found that sometimes we have clients using the Analysis Code, particulars or Code to reference details for the bank payment so when these come through to cash coding the view only items are all blank.

  8. Presently, to create a draft bill in Xero from a bill that has been received in the csv format, the csv bill has to be imported manually. It would be easier to be able to email the csv bill to the unique bills email address and have a draft bill created in Xero.

    Hi team, while not a direct solve for CSV file types as asked for here, I wanted to quickly share on the recent uploads feature we've released in bills.

    You can now simply select your files or drag & drop them, and Xero will automatically create draft bills with key details pre-filled and the original document attached ready for approval. 🙂

    We don't have any direct plans on expanding our supported file types at this time, but we'll continue to track the interest ans share if there are any changes planned for this. Thanks

  9. I would like to visualise how draft bills and invoices affect my cashflow, something which I know is not possible at the moment. This would allow me to predict how multiple open quotes & projects could affect my financing requirements. Could this be added in future?

  10. I often take part-payments against customer invoices in Xero. But, when I use the app, the full sales invoice amount appears rather than the remaining balance. The app should show the remaining balance on sales invoices - when viewing the list of unpaid invoices.

  11. The "Explorer" tab in the employee expenses section needs an option to set the date range.
    At the moment it is pretty useless as I cant even see what date range it covers - presumably back to when we started using expenses mid way through the year 3 years ago?
    It is not meaningful to compare spend by different employees, if I cant do it by month or quarter, when some employees have been using expenses for much longer than others.
    An option to compare by employee for selected accounts, and to export to pdf/xls would also be really useful.

  12. Needs 'Are you sure' pop up for Deleting Contact Files

    Its too easy to accidentally delete a file attached to a Contact. Needs to be an 'Are you sure you want to delete ...' pop up when deleting.
    Especially as it also doesn't populate in the history/notes section that anything has been deleted.

  13. I am working with Société Générale (France) and we are not so lucky to have the automated bank transactions functionality. Our bank is combining both main bank movement and credit card movements in their OFX format.

    This currently gives me the following error message in Xero : The file selected contains more than one statement which is not currently supported. Download a file with transactions for one account and try again.

    My error message finds its cause in the fact that I have an export from the bank that contains both <bankmsgrsv1> and <creditcardmsgrsv1> transactions.

  14. I would like to have my monthly subscription invoices in EUR instead of the standard USD invoices that Xero Global issues. There are a lot of European countries that fall under Xero Global by default but paying these invoices makes us incur unnecessary bank charges due to FX. Please amend and let us decide on the invoicing currency for our subscriptions.

  16. There should be an ability to set up an intercompany account using the bank feed function between businesses that are 'connected'. This would save countless hours manually journalling transactions. You should be able to create a transaction in the bank feed, or mark an invoice as paid by the intercompany account and the corresponding transaction should show on the respective other company.

  17. it would be great to be able to have multiple reference numbers for one contact, so that way if you have multiple jobs for one company, it can be under the same name. instead of having to make up multiple contacts for the same person.

  18. Would like the option to enable auto leave loading to other leave types other than Annual Leave

    Currently leave loading is only enabled for Annual Leave. We have casual workers who are accruing RDO (Roster Days Off) per EBA and Award. Every time they take RDO, we have to manually add 25% casual loading on top.

    I did think about just embed the 25% into normal rate but that will ruin the overtime calculation. I.e. for double time penalty rate, casuals get x2.25 but if I embed casual loading in normal cost it would be x2.5 (1.25x2).

  19. I want to be able to add and edit line items in the Hubdoc mobile app so that I can process more complex invoices/bills on my mobile device. Currently I need to use the web app for this and the UX of the whole interface there is very poor – basically just the desktop interface but rendered much smaller – so the experience is quite painful.

  20. Enable Xero to remember the zoom and window size when viewing a document attached to an invoice, bill, purchase order etc.

    I always find it annoying that the default size for viewing an attachment is too small and I need to increase the zoom and window size every time.
