Projects - when duplicating a project, expenses need to follow through as well.

Quotes - Only display the Item Code and Name when searching
In the old quote version, when adding an item it would search just by the item code which was great.
Now it searches and displays even in the item description, so now end up with a big list to scroll through with description also showing, and especially as the font is bigger.
Any chance this can be looked into and item search just looks at item code/name, without searching and displaying description,?

GST - Enable AIM tax method
Enable AIM tax method for NZ
This is needed for small businesses in NZ to do their own AIM lodgement automatically via Xero without using an accountant. In the GST return, there are three options currently; Standard, Estimate, and Ratio but not AIM. The whole purpose of AIM is to smooth cashflow and make it simpler for small businesses to file one return for both GST and Income Tax at the same time, but it appears this option is not available to us! Purchase Orders - Show qty on hand
PURCHASE ORDERS - SHOW THE QTY ON HAND
Cannot understand why a bill will show the qty on hand, but not the purchase order. When creating a purchase order it makes sense that one should be able to see qty on hand on each line item so that you know how much to order.

AU Payroll - Long Service Leave for Casual Victorian employees
Requirement to have flexibility in how Long Service Leave is recorded for Victoria for casual employees who have taken multiple periods of parental leave and unpaid leave so small business is able to record number of weeks and entitlement due date and be able to accrue the entitlement of .80 weeks per year of service (and have that show on their pay). At the moment we are unable to show the employee the entitlement in weeks - only hours. The hours paid per week will be variable depending on when they take the leave so having this flexibility in Xero…

Inventory - Record Quantity on Hand for untracked items

we work in wine retail & record our product &service on xero (we have moved from sage 50 2 years now)
we cannot use track inventory option as this doest work with our current setup
please can we simply have like a small box under each inventory saying quantity on hand for e.g 2 or if its negative like - 2 ( as this is really trouble some for me to all the time go to report & manually set my filters all the time with dates,& other details.

When emailing receipts to Hubdoc, anything written in the email should stay with the receipt.
When emailing receipts to Hubdoc, anything written in the email title or body should stay with the receipt. Currently, Hubdoc turns one email into 2 uploads. One upload is the email. One upload is the receipt. It is nearly impossible to know which email matches which receipt. The result is that important documentation is lost. For example, my clients often email a receipt to Hubdoc for meals and they write who was present at the meal and the business purpose into the email's title or body. Those details are required by the IRS but the current Hubdoc system does not…

AU Payroll - Allow to change settings for Decimal places for pay items.
pay rates rounding by 4 decimal points causing an underpayment of wages. EG: Base rate is 25.65 x 1.5 = 38.475000 but the award rate is actually 38.48. Need a solution for this ASAP.

7 votesHi team, just wanting to make sure we understand the idea correctly here. When you'd like a payment voucher - would this be for accounts payable or receivable?
On the payables side, perhaps purchases orders could facilitate the record of this in Xero, and you can upload attachments to keep track of files related to a voucher. Alternatively, for accounts receivable, quotes maybe able to support what you're in need of here.

Customer Statement - Total payments
Customer statements - will Xero enable the functionality to present payments received by customers as 1 line item? We want to see the total payment amount on the statement - not allocated to each invoice as it is currently.

New invoicing copy and merge
In old invoicing, when you used Copy and Merge into a new invoice, it kept each of the original invoice's items together in order, including the first line description. In the new Invoicing, it groups together all of the like items from each invoice which is incorrect. This needs to be addressed.
7 votesHi Lisa, it'd be good to get a closer look at some of the invoices you've copied and merged from and to, so we can get a better look at what's going on for you here.
I've just tested creating invoices with Copy and merge from the list view using the same inventory items, however these are created as separate lines on the new draft invoice.

AU Payroll - Customise User Permissions
We need the ability to further customise User Permissions. For example, a company could have 3 bank accounts and one credit card, all of which need reconciling, but I want two employees to share responsibility. So, employee A can do two bank accounts, and Employee B can do 1 bank account, and one credit card, and each can only see what they are responsible for. Secondly, we should be able to set up a Finance Manager who has certain permissions again separate from all other options. Expense Claims - Split expense claims over multiple projects
Ability to be able to add multiple line items to expense claim bill, like a normal bill, when expense claims are submitted through Xero Me. When a singular cost is associated with multiple jobs, being able to add a second or third line etc to divide this cost within the bill and assign to project accordingly would be far better than having to upload the same expense claim multiple times with different portions of costs allocated.
