  1. Ability to have separate fields for posting date and invoice date.

    Purpose: To make users can ensure the expense is recorded in the appropriate month (posting date), and the due date is properly calculated (invoice date).

  2. Have the ability to use the search function, regardless of what you are currently looking at.

    Right now, whenever you are in the Report section or the Fixed Assets section, you do not have the ability to search. You have to go to a different page, and then you're allowed to search.

  3. UK Payroll: Payment file csv format
    Lloyds bank doesn't accept .txt format. It would be great if we could download a csv payment file to upload the employee pays to the bank.

  4. Ability to display customer names when users reconcile batch payments.

    Purpose: It saves users’ time from having to open the payment individually to check the customer’s name.

  5. Filter Compare Tracking Report by second tracking category - run the compare P&L report with the P&L down the left and the categories across the columns but then be able to filter the transactions within this report by the second tracking category.

  6. When running the Payment Summary Details report for a previous financial year, the report does not show the dates of the financial year the data belongs to. The report is titled Payment Summary Details as at Today's Date. For example: it should show Payment Summary Details reporting period 1st July 2017 - 30th June 2018. For audit purposes, there is no way of determining the date range the reported data relates to.

  10. Ability to have a supplier name and link back to supplier contact list from the inventory.

    Purpose: Users can easily have information from which suppliers that they’ve purchased their inventory from, and can easily update any changes within inventory and supplier.

  16. Payroll doesn't refresh data unless you scroll up and down inside an employees pay all the time
    Can you fix this ? Even if you had a button which you could hit to pull changes
    into pay amounts quicker
    It takes a long time waiting doing the payroll when putting in hours and different rates for each employee each week for the amounts to change and pull through properly

    Hi Gayo, interested to better understand how this would help your business? 

    Perhaps the Invoice reports in Xero are a better use for this? 

    Generally you can drill into the transaction from the report directly. 

    Is there a reason why you'd like this on the customer statement specifically?

  19. It would be great if Xero could implement an automatic change/suggestion to change to category A after an H-category employee doesn't meet the criteria anymore.
    One of our employees just had his birthday and I noticed the category doesn't automatically update and there's no flag to say they might now be ineligible for a certain code.
    I imagine there are more companies with the same problem where it's gone unnoticed that the National Insurance Category hasn't automatically updated as nearly everything else does and it's easy to miss a birthday!

  20. Ability to mark an invoice as "shipped". I want to use repeating invoices, but it's an administrative nightmare having to use an external method to track which orders have been shipped to the customer. It's not like you can even download just the invoice header information into a spreadsheet and use that. The export option downloads all of the lines, as well.

    An invoice could have a field like "physical item to ship" or "requires processing after payment" that could be used to filter for "unprocessed" items.

    A tracking number would be useful, too. Setting it to "shipped" would send…
