Files added to contacts - can we please show date against when each file is added to a contact ? Add a column to the attached screen to show Date Added

Contacts - Being able to re-assign contacts in "All" to "Customers" or "Suppliers"
We have imported all our contacts (a mixture of customers and suppliers) into Xero but they have all gone into the "All" category and there is now no way of assigning them to the "Customers" or "Suppliers" categories. It seems like a crazy restriction that not even the Xero people can fix for us. My suggestion is to allow us to move them out of All into one of the other categories.

Account Transactions Report - Show date transaction was raised
For the account transactions report please can you add more column options to include the contact/supplier name and entered date. This is helpful in analysing the transaction data further.

AU Payroll - Set default leave types (paid out/not paid out)
Currently, when you assign a leave type to a new employee, for all leave types other than annual leave and personal leave you have to go into that leave type on the employee card and manually change the leave settings to what should be the default for all employees. For example, RDOs should always be paid out on cessation of employment, but the default setting is "not paid out", and I cannot change the default setting, only each individual's settings.
I should be able to set what the default settings are, to reduce the likelihood of stuffing it up.

Banking | Account transactions tab - Show transaction description
The Account Transactions tab has very weird information presented. I need to see either the Description from the Transaction or the Expense Account account it's hitting. I see neither.
In the Description Column of the Account Transaction Tab, you have the vendor/contact, not the Expense Description. In the Reference Column, you have the bank reference, which is fine, but it's a duplicate of the vendor info. You're leaving me with no useful information about the transaction.

AU Payroll - Multiple Earnings Rate in Payroll
Streamlining " Multiple of Employee's Ordinary Earnings Rate" .
I have a client who has 14 employees and 4 Ordinary Earnings Rate for each employee as their business trades 7 days a week. Each Employee is on a different Ordinary Earnings Rate. The current system on Xero requires you to create and select Multiple of employees ordinary earnings rate in the payroll settings and calculate and enter the multiplier % for each earnings rate for each employee in order for the ordinary earnings rate to be calculated and for the annual leave and carers/personal leave to be calculated. 7 votesHi Esteon, you're right that it's not currently possible to Filter by the Related account column atm. It'd be good to understand what you;re trying to look at when running this report atm.
Rather than filter by related account, could you select the Account that you'd be looking to filter by and then click the Related account header to order the transactions by the account they came from?

Account Transactions report - Option to Group by and then summarise within a group
Account transaction report that can analyse multiple accounts in one report by grouping everything by account and then summarising each account by contact at the same time.

Being open, we don't have any plans for developing this capability in the near term.

Contact | Credit Limits - Ability to set a default for all contacts
Should be an added feature of having the option to set a standard credit limit at the one time for all customers instead of having to enter each one individually. This can be edited for each customer later on.

Account transaction report - Remove 'overall total of all accounts' when run for a single account
New Account transaction report - remove the totals when generating the report for a single account.
The new report adds a report total at the end of the selected accounts which is a total of the debit or credit transactions for 'all' accounts selected.
When only one account is selected it still shows a total - this is in addition to the total for the transactions on the account itself so it shows total of transactions, closing balance and then total of transactions of all accounts selected. Unfortunately the Business snapshot links to the standard xero Profit & Loss Report not the custom default Profit & Loss report.

Payroll AU - Ability to have multiple payslip templates
Please add the ability to have multiple payslip templates for multiple businesses trading within the same entity. Ie so their different logo's for the different trading names can be attached to the employee group for that business tracking category.
9 votesHey Tanya, we don’t recommend running multiple payrolls from the same Xero organisation. As there’s only support for a single payroll account, business name, and ABN per Xero Organisation. This information must be included on each payslip, and would need to be edited prior to posting each pay run.
Posting payroll for multiple businesses from the same Xero Organisation can also have an impact on your record keeping, especially when it comes to finalising your STP and employee superannuation for the year.

Multiple Report Styles
It would be great to have multiple report styles for reporting where different logos and different names can be added for reporting. For example we have 2 companies using the same Xero HQ where one company does the accounting work and the other company compiles the reports so we need to publish reports with 2 different report styles and logos.
