It would be great if a customer could pay more than one invoice on their account using stripe, perhaps when sending a statement there could be a link for Stripe to include all items in that statement, many of our customers have lots of small invoices that require payment at month end and it isn't practical to ask them to make individual payments

  4. What I like that you added:
    * Saving as draft!
    * New Due Date drop-down selections (e.g. 14 days)

    What I do not like:
    * No "add another invoice" option after save + print PDF, more clicks now
    * When save + print PDF, now opens a new tab that needs closed, more clicks
    * Cannot "copy" the invoice line "item" - I usually create many lines that I used to be able to copy & paste the "item", now more clicks
    * Too much whitespace and font too large, I want to be able to see the data…

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on new invoicing. We’re listening carefully to all feedback to make sure new invoicing has the functionality you need, as we prepare for retirement of the classic version.
    We recognise that some things will be different, so we encourage you to spend some time familiarising yourself with the new version. We also believe all small businesses and advisors around the world can benefit from Xero, which is why we’re deeply committed to accessibility.   5. The ability to mark any/all invoices as sent - even if using the copy/share function to send invoices to clients.

    Not all invoices are sent via email. A tick/flick box to mark off any invoices that have actually been sent via the copy/share function would be handy. There could also be another box that would act as a reminder to follow up after 'X' amount of days if the invoice remained outstanding, in the same sort of format that follow-up emails are automatically sent for payment reminder.

  6. It would be great if Xero could automatically attach the remittance advice to each invoice after making a batch payment?
    This would save time when we get queries from suppliers as to the status of their payments, rather than searching for the batch remitttance and emailing it to the supplier again, it can be easily found as it will be attached to the paid invoice.

  7. It’s not possible to view the original invoice exchange rate in New Invoicing. New invoicing only shows the current exchange rate. I have to revert to classic invoicing to see what rate was used when posting the invoice.

  8. Dear Sir/madam,

    Is ther a way to have a search bar permanetly open. It disappers every time a change between invoce tabs.
    Perhaps it can be one search bar on top of the tabs with a choice of permanently open or closed with option to search invoice status as per tabs.

    It seems more convenient than clicking search buttom prior search all the time you switch the invoice tabs.

  9. Set a particular contact field (e.g. account number) as a mandatory field, so that an invoice cannot be issued without that field having been added to the customer account.

  10. Could you enhance customer accounts by automatically adding outstanding amounts from previous invoices to the next issued invoice as a separate line item called 'outstanding fees'? This ensures customers can pay the full amount due, not just the current invoice.

I often copy from a Purchase order to an Invoice, with the new Invoicing set up, it automatically populates the customer field with the Supplier name, can this PLEASE be changed to same as classic with a blank field so we can enter the custmer details in ourselves, it is most annoying and has often caught our office out sending invoices to suppliers.

  13. When sending an invoice to a new customer using the new invoicing you can only add one address line before the Town/City field. With the old invoicing you could add multiple address lines before the Town/City field (as you can also do with their Contact page and clicking edit).
    With new invoicing this is difficult. Every time you need to add an address to a new invoice going to a new contact within the invoice screen then you only have one address line above the town/city field.

    Hi team, we’ve made and released some recent enhancements to the ‘Contact’ field and contact card within new invoicing.

    Hearing your feedback here, we added more address lines to the contact card within new invoicing so you can add your full customer’s delivery or billing address on the fly. You’ll also see you can quickly look up and select addresses for your contact, as well as edit or add the Attention to without needing to go to the contact record.   14. Keep tasks in same order as they are in the project when generating a tasks and expenses invoice.
    We put the job name as the first task then the steps of each job as different tasks underneath. Some of these steps are the same for each job so when the invoice generates with these in a different order, we cannot simply reorder these in the invoice because we can't tell which step is for which part of the job.

  15. Unable to add credit note to an existing invoice in the new system.

    You can choose from the click down box - Create and Apply credit -
    - the next screen is the credit note with all the details from the invoice, But .. it doesn't add the name of the company/person to credit note
    - when you click on approve it can't save it as there is no name.
    - I can't see where you can add the name.

  16. Xero needs to expose the "Delivery Address" field on an invoice to the API. Currently we are unable to create an invoice via the API to include the customer Delivery Address field.

    In the case where the contacts default delivery address changes over time, or the customer has multiple delivery addresses (and one Head Office address for invoicing/billing purposes), the "Delivery Address" field in the Xero New Invoicing function needs to be exposed to the API.

  17. Currently after we assigned billable expenses to a customer and subsequently when we create a new invoice with the billable expenses, noted that the tracking category named Projects as well as account code are not auto-fill. We need to fill in manually which is time-consuming, imagine there are 100 items in the invoice.

    It will be very helpful and save time if the account and project code will be auto-fill in the invoice. We really appreciate your support and looking forward this can be implemented. Thank you!

  18. On the Find and Match section of the bank rec, I would like to see the Reference number and the Xero invoice number in separate, sortable columns much like you can in the sales overview screen. In the current set up, the reference number is not sortable. The ability to sort by reference number in this particular screen would probably save me a couple of hours each week.

  19. When you hit the approve button for an invoice, there are a number of options, such as approve and add another, or approve and print. I would like to see "approve and email"
    Another key point is once an invoice has been emailed, it isn't possible to go straight to adding another invoice, currently it is required to click on sales, then click on 'new invoice'. I think having a direct link to 'add another invoice' would be logical and more efficient.
