  1. The ability to search bills and filter specifically for a credit notes would be helpful.
    Also, if a credit note has been used the total is $0 - it would be helpful if the total was still shown as paid.

  2. When you enter an invoice it flags up to say that it has already been entered, with a credit note this function is not available, could this be added?

  3. I'd like to add a note within a pay run that is visible to "admin only".
    Eg. To justify differences due to staff timesheet errors.
    I don't want the staff to be able to see this note but I'm sick of having notes in external programs.

    Hi community, thanks for the strong support in being able to attach files within Xero Payroll, both for employee records and pay runs. We really appreciate you sharing the value and efficiency this could create for you when working with Xero. It's evident that being able to store important documents like licenses, sick notes, and onboarding papers directly in Xero would remove the need for external storing systems or manual processes.

    We acknowledge it's not the end goal but wanted to highlight the use of apps, as some have shared like Dext, to help bridge this gap in the meantime.

    I want to assure you that enabling attachments in payroll is part of our long-term intentions. However, to deliver this functionality effectively and reliably, we first need to develop some foundational elements within our payroll platform.

  7. I have a client who is VERY mobile active. I noticed on the bank reconciliation page that notes are multiple taps away. On a transaction, three dots, then view note, and then one more click to go back. It was be fantastic if the default on the bank reconciliation page on mobile was to show notes first, like the discuss tab is defaulted to show first on the web application. Then I could instruct my client to view the bank reconciliation on their mobile to see what information I am requesting.

  9. In Xero it is possible to add notes to spend money and receive money transactions, however, this field is missing for imports. The import documentation doesn't show a notes field:

    The Description and Reference fields are intended to be from the bank statement, however, Xero has a notes function once you enter a spend or receive money. That's where I want to add a note during import.

  10. Report to see when a customer account was opened/set up. When conducting customer credit account reviews it would be handy if there was a report to see what date a customer account was set up. So you are only reviews accounts that have been opened for a year. At the moment the only way to see when an account was set up is to look at the notes/history on each individual account.

  12. To be able to add notes, to explain why Xero has imported an amount to the feed with a different date to the actual bank statement for example. I have to be able to explain to our accountant why the Xero bak balance is different to the bank statement. It shouldn't do this anyway but it does and I have no way of logging this date error. And add attachments (ie actual bank statements) to a published bank reconciliation, you can upload docs to any transaction but not the actual reconciliation??

  13. Currently in Payroll History you can filter activity by Type and select 'Employees'.

    This is too broad to be able to easily pick up bank account changes. eg for 1 month there are 959 entries over 4 pages (which need to be manually clicked to load).

    The entries have the type of 'Employee: Bank Accounts'

    Features requested ;
    1) Add a 'Subtype' filter for Employee events; of which 'Bank Accounts' should be an option.
    2) Add ability to Export the report to PDF from initial screen without having to load all the other items.

  14. Currently it is possible to change the branding applied to invoices even after they are paid. It is not possible to do the same for a credit note which means that if there is a change in corporate branding that any credit notes that have been posted need to be recreated to be able to make the change. This should not be so difficult.

  15. There is currently no record of changes to User registrations in the xero file. This is a failure of audit processes.
    A description for each user would be handy to identify the role of each person within the Organisation.
    A start and End date would allow for Temporary access arrangements.

  17. Bank Reconciliation - Having a Reconciled By column.
    It would be very helpful to have a column in the bank account transactions screen that shows who reconciled the transaction. I have a client who thinks they are helping by reconciling their own transactions only to get most of them wrong. If there was a column showing the reconciler then I would very quickly be able to ascertain the transactions i need to review by running a history and notes report for that period.

  18. Can we please have the ability to see if a note has been added to a document when you are in the Hubdoc APP without having to go into a document.

    The ability to see this is available in the Web version, would be great to see it in the APP as well.

  19. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to update multiple notes at once. For example, if I have a list of 300 invoices and a statement has been sent, I want to see that note on each invoice, so that anyone going into that account can see the last action. So for example, I want to add the note 'Statement sent today requesting payment by 19th April' to all 300 invoices, but I want to be able to select them all and add that note once, not 300 separate times.

  20. Currently, in the Automatic Sequencing setting, the invoice & credit note share the same number sequence. However, for tracking purpose, we prefer to have a separate number sequence for credit notes. Therefore, would like to request an additional 'Next Number' field for credit note, which can come with an option to share or not to share the number sequence with invoice.
