  1. Both Xero and XPM really need to have the ability to override the GST calculated by 1c either way to fix the GST rounding errors that continually occur. This would be more efficient than having to add a Cost rounding adjustment in XPM of 1c to have it then import to Xero showing this rounding adjustment on a separate line which then needs to be altered before sending to the clients. Having to do this for hundreds of invoices is very inefficient.

  2. A option to have a price list added to a specific customer so that the pricing for that specific customer is automatically added when invoicing. I have been through the app store and cannot find an app that offers this feature and integrates with Xero. It is silly that all other accounting software offer this option yet Xero has no interest in adding it to their system

  3. Linking Purchase Order to Bill

    Purpose: To copy the details from the po to populate the forwarded bill from email fields.

    This would enable the ease of processing bills; using the data already on the po and verifying the costs accordingly.

    Also this is vital, so that you can match multiple bills to the same po.

  4. Add the ability to add stops to mileage reimbursement. This way a person can add a round trip or add stops between the round trip to collect all mileage for the 1 trip.

    Thanks for the idea and adding your interest here, everyone. In lieu of a direct feature to accommodate this atm, you may find duplicating the claim to record each part of a trip useful in cutting down the data entry. We'll let you know if there's any change planned here.

  6. If there is not already, it would be useful to have a proper cashflow summary report showing actual cash movements instead of having to balance against the movement in prepayments etc that come up in the current report.
    Same with my payroll, it would be nice to see net wages go out on one line and the PAYE paid on another.

  7. Fixed asset register - We used to be able to add fixed assets in the middle of a financial year and enter an accum dep to date value within the entry of the draft assets themselves. Now we are restricted to the beginning of a financial year. This is a backward step. Why has the extra functionality been removed?

  8. I need to prepare a ct600 tax return for an unincorporated association.
    As it has no company number and XERO corp tax doesn't let you go past Go without a company number it is not possible to do this and I'm back to paper filing.
    Please can this be addressed.

    Thanks for your feedback on the thread. Though not useful for all, we did bring attention to the reports that could help some people in the forums here. 

    We'll continue to consider this and other ideas for customer statements as the platform evolves. 

    Again not a full resolve but another option that could be handy for some is the inclusion of the Outstanding bills link when sending individual invoices to your customers. Through this, persons of a contact will be able to view and get detail of the invoices they have outstanding with you at any given time.

  11. Please can we have the option in Regular earnings to have pay items that can be setup with day units and not hours so taht it shows on payslip as number of days x rate.

It make sense to only create 1 company record with multiple customer/client name in the record and that should lead to the ability to choose which customer/client info to be included in the quotes and invoice. currently the auto generated quote and invoice is based on the PRIMARY contact. However, I am working with different people in the company and therefore, should not alway based on the primary.

    Currently my work around now is constantly replacing the primary contact whenever I need to generate new quotes and new invoice. doesn't make sense at all.

    Also to better understand the idea would this be on a client basis or across all clients that are managed by a practice? 

  14. Would like a report showing a list of bank account number changes. This would show original bank account number, new bank account number, contact's name, date the bank account number was amended and who amended the bank account number and to be able to print this as a pdf. This would be of great benefit because of fraud and also our Auditor has asked if we can produce a list of bank account number changes for a selected period.

    Hi everyone, while we don't have a direct report for this, some changes we've made to History & Notes in Xero will help in achieving what you're in need of here. 

    You can run the History & Notes, filtering by Type = Contact and typing 'Bank account number' in the Search to just view results for this action. 

    If needed you'll be able to export your results to PDF or Excel. 

    Though the contact name doesn't show on screen, you can right click on the Contact in the report to open the contact's record in a new browser tab, that allows you to inspect details without navigating away from your History & Notes results. 

  15. Please look into the idea for Importing and Exporting exchange rate from Xero for the ease of update if default XE Rate is not used by the organisation and the export function to generate exchange rates used for the period.

  16. When creating an Invoice from a quote within Projects, the newly created invoice does not retain any connection to the Project that the quote is linked to. This is very annoying and time-consuming - as the only way to then link the Invoice to the Project is to manually select and assign every individual line item, one by one and map them against the project. Surely this is an easy fix to keep an Invoice linked to a project as the quote was? Why would you disassociate an invoice from a project that it directly relates to??

  17. I would be a huge benefit to be able to see invoices using some type of 'Quick Look' function from the invoice list rather than having to open each one fully to view details. This would allow us to quickly look at a customers history without the time consuming task of opening each one.

  18. Is would be helpful to be able assign different expenses from one bill to different customers, in one batch. At the moment you have to do it individually and then go back into the assign expenses section to do it again for each assignment, which for a bill that relates to multiple customers takes a lot of time.

  19. It would be useful to be able to assign a bill to a specific person for approval within the system - without this the function is pretty useless.

    This seems like a simple thing if you have this as an option.
