  2. There should be the ability to select inventory access for users that have invoice only access.

    For example, my office manager handles all the invoicing as well as all of the stock and inventory management. Currently he cannot access inventory to add new items or change pricing without the ability of seeing all of the bank accounts. Second tier management should be able to access invoicing and stock control without seeing critical financials. I suggest that a tab be added to the settings for users to allow inventory to be accessed at the invoice only level user.

  4. Before we had start/stop times, employees were able to add different pay rates (ie Saturday Penalty Rate). It would be excellent if this option could be included with the start/stop time version in Xero Me.

  6. The new feature sets the discount column to numeric value by standard. My business uses % and it's incredibly tedious having to type % each time. We can do 10-20 quotes a day with an average of 30 products per quote. So a feature that would allow us to click a button to default to percentage, so when you type a number the % appears (like in old Xero).

  8. Currently, Xero lists a super accrual for employees under the age of 18 when they earn over $450/mth. However, it doesn't take into account how many hours that employee works per week. Under 18s are not eligible to be paid super unless they work over 30 hours per week (even if they earn over $450/mth), but Xero doesn't recognise this. Unfortunately this shows up a s liability for the employer, even though a liability doesn't exist.   9. We are a subscription based business, so it would be great to be able to bulk update repeating invoice amounts. Either by selecting all the ones we'd like to change or by pushing through new inventory/product/service price changes. At the moment we have to change every single repeating invoice and this takes hours and hours!

    Thanks for the feedback and great to hear the use you find in repeat templates in Xero. 


    While there's no way to bulk update templates atm, you may find updating your templates through export & import of invoices more helps quicken things up?


    You could export invoices that have been generated from your template to CSV, update the amounts in the exported file, and then re-import

    This will create 'Draft' invoices in your Xero org from which you can create a Repeat template and then delete the draft. 🙂

  10. Filter Compare Tracking Report by second tracking category - run the compare P&L report with the P&L down the left and the categories across the columns but then be able to filter the transactions within this report by the second tracking category.

  11. In the new format Bank Reconciliation report, can we please add a 'select' option for the bank account field, similar to the 'Account Transactions' report and how we can 'select' multiple CoA codes to look at at the same time?

    I have a client that has 30+ bank accounts, and having to run the bank reconciliation report 30 times to check if they are reconciling/have errors is very painful.

  12. It would be incredibly helpful if 'Quantities' & ' Unit Price' were included as column options in the Account Transactions report.

    This way one can quickly review the quantity & price of each entry without having to drill down into each individual entry. It would also provide a total quantity and average unit price for the given period.

    The example that I am referring to is on a farm business where we would like to review the tonnes of crop sold and the price.

  15. Draft Bills - Ability to create Credits from Draft Bill sent directly to Xero email

    Suppliers email credits as well as Bills, why not have the ability to process a bill or credit through this area, a supplier is not going to invoice credits to one email address and invoices to another. Why can we not select if it is a bill or credit and process.

    Purpose: to allow processing of credits through the Draft Bills seamless

  19. Being able to customize each user role is quite important as every person in every company does something different. Giving them access to systems they shouldn't have because the User Role they need to do their job allows them access to these other areas is a security risk in general.

    Putting in Custom Roles will also allow companies to adjust the Users to their Company Policies for controls.

    Appreciate the idea here - Being transparent, developing granular permissions or roles for every feature and action throughout Xero is not in our plans. 


    Understanding more of the permission sets majority of users need, will help understand where the biggest impact could be made. 

    I've slightly adjusted the title to suit the needs of the role you mentioned. We'll get a sense of others that'd like this too.
