  1. Currently is it not possible to generate an exception report showing new clients added during the previous month, quarter or year. This is an important piece of reporting for CRM purposes. Similarly, it would be nice to generate an exception report showing client changes with appropriate attribute filters.

  2. It would be a great help if we could update status for a job as and when the timesheet is done.
    At the moment we go to each job and update the status at the end of the day. In my opinion this would save lot my time hovering around.
    I have attached a screenshot in pdf to better explain.

  3. We have a number of sets of accounts that have been prepared under FRS102 1A but do still require an audit in the UK as the group as a whole exceeds more than 2 of the thresholds. There is currently no way to simply toggle on an auditors report, with additional free type text fields to file these via Xero Tax, which would be nice to be able to do and save us requiring another piece of software altogether for these clients.

  4. Improve XPM reporting for Xero Tax to enable extract of who has approved and signed (as tax agent) returns. Preferably including fields from client information - Client, Client Group, Account maanger (aka Partner), Job manager.

  5. Keyboard shortcuts in Xero Practice Manager

    Currently only have a shortcut for search (forward slash) in XPM, would like more shortcuts (like there are in Blue Xero) - eg:
    Dashboard / Clients / Jobs / Tax / Business / Reports tabs.

  6. Custom task rate - although the charge out rate can be amended for individual tasks for a member of staff, there is no "from" date that can be specified so it is applied to all un-invoiced WIP. It would therefore be very useful to be able to have the ability to put in a date from when the new rate should be applied.

  7. Need a better user management/access experience in HubDoc. Currently the practice user who set up the Hubdoc account needs to invite all other practice users into the client. Would it be possible to merge the Hubdoc access into the Xero HQ access or replicate the HQ access system in HubDoc.

  9. Revise Activity Statement / IAS via Xero when a client has lodged their own IAS/BAS. It would be beneficial for tracking purposes if Xero offered the facility to unlock a submitted BAS/IAS to review & amend and relodge with the ATO. Whilst these can be revised via ATO Portal there is no tracking or record of an amendment in Xero

  11. Change Capacity under Settings/Practice to allow for Saturday and Sunday so that on the Dashboard for Time Summary the time entered on Saturday and Sunday shows and is reflected in the Productivity circle on the Dashboard

  12. We use client codes for all our clients. There is an option to input this into the client record, but it would be good to be able to see that on the screen and sort by it, rather than just alphabetical list of clients.

  17. The ability to add share class in relationships.
    Currently you can only add the number of shares.
    However, we have a lot of companies that have different share class types (A Class, B Class, ORD Class etc).
    SUGGEST: adding a field under number of shares where you can type the share class (see attached example).

    This is a critical feature for our firm that is missing from XPM.

  19. Please can foreign currency be OPTIONAL and turned off?

    Foreign currency has been added our file in error via an invoice from Hubdoc that was uploaded as USD. It has since been corrected to AUD and there are no foreign currency transactions in the ledger.
    BUT - all reports annoyingly come up with all the 'source' columns. We don't want this to accidentally happen again when we are getting invoices from offshore software providers etc.
    We ONLY report in AUD.

  20. Have a multi tick box option for custom fields to be able to select more than one option.
    i.e. we are a multi disciplinary accounting firm and offer multi different services such as advisory, tax, bookkeeping etc and won't to be able to identify what the client has engaged us for [frequently it's more than one service]
