Sadly, it seems to be the case that Xero choose not to implement numerous simple improvements that customers suggest. I am really not quite sure why they bother having this suggestions area as they clearly have their own agenda, which seems to centre around chargeable addons to their basic offering, and NOT responding to customer requests!

Surely someone in Xero can see the importance of this issue and can accelerate development.

Xero should remember is is the Users, i.e. the companies and individuals who dutifully pay their subscriptions, which allows Xero to exist.

Please Xero, do better with looking after your customers.

This is a simple update that we have been waiting to be applied in Xero for 10 years now! We have also been a customer of Xero for 10 years and have also waited this long for this very simple addition of a docx Remittance addition, something of which would take a developer no time at all to implement the relevant fields into the background system and even less to design a simple docx remittance template pulling out the relevant data fields and implement this into the current Xero branding interface.

A remittance is a major part of every day general transactions to most users in the Xero platform and the current accessible “standard” remittance branding is ugly and clunky and frankly embarrassing to have to keep onsending as part of our everyday transactions to our clients. No amount of formatting can make it look in any way presentable and is not consistent with any other customisable branding product we use also daily such as statements, invoicing, quotes etc.

This particular ideas/suggestion feed dates back to 2015! 10 years with Xero users requesting the most simplest of branding additions who send remittances every day to multiple entities.

Whilst a longer long term whole branding refresh may be in the pipeline, this is a simple addition to enable consistency across the current existing branding theme of Xero for all users.

Consistent simple branding accessibility I would have thought would be part of the very foundation of the Xero platform.

Xero, please implement this simple addition so many users who have requesting this for YEARS can have access to consistent branding across their companies.

Hi Kelly, Whilst I understand that there are longer term plans to improve the branding in Xero, This defiency has been there since the product was first released and frankly trying to improve something that doesnt exist, is not an easy task.

Agreed - this is essential and basic stuff Bespoke documents are essential. - why has this issue not been addressed? It has=s been commented on for more than 3 years!

Basic information - The account number a supplier has given you which is what makes you uniquely identifiable in their system. The invoice number that you are paying which can be one or one thousand in a single transaction.

Why have an 'Account Number' field on the supplier card, and 'Reference' fields representing the transactions if you cant clearly communicate these key pieces of data to the supplier when you are making a payment.

I feel like XERO is so poor on the user experience and the very basics are glossed over time and time again and years go by with people asking for very basic stuff to be provided.

Please hear our cries Xero and make this happen. The remittance needs to be customisable.

We need to customize the remittance advice template to show both the Invoice # and Reference Number showing on our remittances, however currently it only shows the reference number. Our vendors cannot reconcile their books against the remittances we send because we are required to use reference numbers that are driven by our customers (insurance carriers are rigid), and we need use those same reference numbers on the vendor bills. We do use our vendor ref in the invoice number field, but that doesn't print on the remittance.

We need to customise the branding of remittance advise. This idea is up for almost 10 years now please make it happen.

The remittance advice currently only reflects the invoice reference and not the Supplier's account number which is what shows on their bank statements.
It will be great to be able to customise my remittance advice to correctly reflect the reference requirement the Supplier has asked for.

Cannot believe this has still not been done. Given so many other aspects of the platform can do customisation, why not this one? It's been requested for over THREE YEARS now. Please get onto this Xero.

This would be a very purposeful tool to enable efficiency with using the program for sending out remittances for bills. Please implement ASAP to streamline the process.
