  1. Customisable graph/table colours would be excellent, even if it were just 2 or 3 preset options. The blue/red default is a bit harsh.

    Appreciate you sharing your feedback on the Tax Manager beta, Serge. Our product team are paying close attention to the feedback we're receiving on this to understand how we can keep developing this experience. I'll be sure to share if there are any plans for providing this visibility of the status of a return.

  4. The Tax Manager would be improved if it could be sorted by Group, or at least allow us to add the Group column. This would enable a quick reference for one client with multiple entities.

    Right now we'll gauge interest in your idea, and I'll be sure to update you if there is any progress around this.

  5. When you save a timesheet entry as draft, then next option of discard or save is very close together so if you don't move your cursor to the right to click on save you may inadvertently discard the timesheet entry. I think the discard option needs to be moved somewhere else.

    Hi everyone — thanks for flagging this! It’s clear the “Discard” button’s current spot is causing a few accidental clicks, especially after you’ve just entered your time. Losing your work like that is frustrating, and we get how it turns a quick task into extra effort.

  6. Has the ability to attach clients in the additional contact field in XPM been removed. I am no longer able to select an existing client to add to the additional contact on another clients record in XPM. If so why, this was great.

    Hey Christopher — thanks for suggesting this! Making it easier to add additional contacts to client records in XPH would be a really handy improvement and could save a lot of time.

    Right now, it’s done manually, but a smoother approach would make managing client info quicker and simpler.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can see how many in the community would find it useful.

  7. The timer icon looks almost just like a circle, the hour hand is tiny, it's barely distinguishable from the magnifying glass next to it, so it's hard to know what it means. How about using a picture of a stopwatch or copy the icon used by the iphone.

  9. Please reinstate the summary toolbar or menu at the top of client pages. It previously acted as an effective dashboard for client activity and allowed us to see what was happening at a glance.

    In XPH, key items (for example, active tax returns) no longer clearly show status or progress, which forces users to click through multiple screens just to understand what is going on.

    Overall, XPH feels clunky and significantly more admin intensive. It feels like a system that previously worked has been pulled apart by developers with little regard for how accounting practices actually operate or for the…

    Hi Rochelle, thanks for bringing this up. When you’re working across a large client list, having a clearer signal of what’s changing can make a big difference. A Client Activity Toolbar could give practices a quicker sense of where things are moving and where a nudge might be needed.

    Rather than jumping in and out of individual part of XPH, this kind of view could help you prioritise what to focus on.

    Hi Josef, I can totally see how a "Priority" column could be a real game-changer for practice management. When you’ve got a long list of client jobs, it helps to see instantly which ones need attention right away and which can wait.

    For now, some partners find it helpful to use the Job Status or Due Date columns to sort tasks, or even add a visual cue in the Job Name to highlight urgent work.

    We’ve moved this idea to ‘Gaining Support’ so our product teams can see the impact. We’d love to hear your thoughts on how this can be impactful to you.

  13. In Xero HQ to add "Last Viewed" column option which is currently showing on My Xero screen. This is a column option in My Xero that I use everyday when checking which clients to review. Unfortunately it has never been available as a column option in Xero HQ. If made available I would no longer use the My Xero option in Xero.

  14. The beta has "Recent Organisations" in the dropdown under the practice name, but nothing is coming up and there is no ability to search.

    Please can we have this reinstated - I don't want to have to go to the clients screen or Xero HQ to get to a client's Xero file every time I open up XPM

  17. The old home page in XPM used to show all my jobs grouped by job status and in the processing order. For example "Not In" then "Drafting" then "Resolving Queries" then "In Review" then "Finalising".
    Now I have to click onto a another page to see all my jobs (not so bad as just one click). BUT if I try to sort by status it sorts on alphabetical order instead of stage in the process. For example "Drafting" then "Finalising" then "In Review" then "Not In" then "Resolving Queries". It is not an easy or instinctive way to review your…

  18. It now takes multiple menus to get to the enter timesheets page. This should be a one click access from the Home page like it was in the old XPM.

  19. Customise widgets at a master level; for example graduates do not need to see lodgement tracking and status, we should be able to remove these widgets at a master level without having to edit from within each staff members login.

  20. Could the Practice Manager please be improved where it is not dependent on activity time as it logs out if there's been no activity after an hour. Previously Practice Manager did not log out, only HQ did and still does.
