  1. The new beta job creation doesn't do anything the old one didn't do, everything is just either bigger or surrounded by more white space so there's less information on screen at once. It feels great on a touchscreen on an iPad, but I would assume most users are on a desktop where the experience is now just worse.

  2. Please reinstate items to be reconciled in My Xero for users with multiple accounts (companies).

    The old format alerted users to new bank transactions and allowed users to see at a glance in My Xero which companies have items to be reconciled.

    The new format doesn't which means users have to open every company to see if there has been activity. This is very inefficient and takes far too much time.

  3. Getting people's names correct is table stakes.

    My name has an accent on the e - Rémi - but it comes up on XPH as "Rémi". I would not want my staff's names, or client names, appearing amiss. Not sure if this would then flow through to invoices.

  4. So when on home Practice Hub Per User- A Widget you can link your favourite Clients in a Widget for easy quick access to their Xero Files.
    Similar to Favorites Clients on ATO Home Screen.

    For now, we'll shift to in discovery and I'll give you another update as it moves along.

  5. Clients, jobs, contacts etc should be clickable in all areas of XPM. Im in a job, and the client is displayed to the right, I can't click it to go to the client record. Likewise, on timesheets, clients and jobs should be clickable. This saves a large amount of time.

  7. In Tax Manager, Option to multiselect tax forms and lodge button. Similar to the Old tax returns window. It will be nice to have a column showing outcome for the form such as $$$ payable or Refundable. This will be more efficient.

  8. If the IRD number is not populated then this field disappears from the information screen when viewing a client's details. Can the field please remain on the screen even if left empty.

  9. It would be AMAZING if we could have some useful management reports, like monthly Team Performance by staff member with KPI data (write offs $, write off %, ROI, Average charge rate, total invoiced, closing WIP) and Practice Performance over the same metrics :)

    Also some dashboard widgets that show these metrics personal to the user on their home page.

  11. would be good to be able to resize the widgets to show more of what is important to us individually ie: I would like to be able to make the job widget bigger to show more jobs and shrink the time summary which is not important for my particular role

  12. You can apply filters, but it would be good to be able to save filters so that they can be used again. Basically the same function that is in Job Manager.

    Hi team, really good to hear your feedback on what could improve your experience with new Tax Manager which is currently in beta.

    We're listening to the feedback we're receiving about this from our community and while not in the works just yet, the ability to save custom filters is a feature we plan to develop.

    You can get more of a view of what's to come in Tax Manager through Xero Central, and I'll keep you updated here once this idea progresses with the team.

  14. Time summary on home page. It would be great if we could have a seven day view on the main page as not all work is completed within traditional business hours.

    I was sure that it showed me seven days last week but I am wondering if this updates if there are weekend entries?

    Appreciate your feedback, Kerry. Currently the time summary widget is based around capacity which is only Mon-Fri. However, our product team are keen to get a better sense of interest around this and will be keeping a watchful eye on the support in this idea.

    Hi Glennis, Milestones aren't available from the new Xero Partner Hub homepage, however if you'd like to use this you can still switch back to the old Dashboard.

    Right now our product team are watching the feedback through this forum closely, and we'd like to gauge the interest from others for this on your idea.

  16. Bring back cost labels in XPM, these are usefull when adding costs to invoices. The data base field still exists, we can see our old data when adding costs to invoices. We just cant access and edit or add new labels. Give us access to it via the back end or developer tools or API.

  17. There used to be an 'Enter Costs' button on the homepage of XPM. How do we now easily add costs? We use this function all the time.

  18. In the old XPM when removing a client’s GST registration you could delete the GST registration with one tick and save. In the new XPM when you untick ‘include GST information’, the GST information greys out and it lets you save but this does not remove the GST registration information. You have to clear the other fields first, then untick ‘include GST information’ and save. Why can’t you just untick ‘include GST information’ and it be removed from view on the client information screen? Or at least be given a warning that the change you’ve made isn’t correct when you…

    Thanks for sharing this detailed feedback about the GST workflow in XPM.


    I can certainly see how the extra steps of clearing fields manually feel like a step backward from the previous experience, especially when you're managing multiple client updates.


    Currently, the new XPM interface requires those fields to be emptied before the section can be fully "deactivated" from the client summary. If you find the information is still showing after you've unticked the box, it’s usually because those greyed-out fields still contain data that Xero is trying to preserve.

    By moving this here, other XPM users can vote on the idea, which helps our product teams prioritize making this workflow more intuitive—like adding a warning or an auto-clear function when the box is unticked.

  19. Enter Time - you have to put in start time. It should default to your last time entry like it does under view timesheets.

  20. A function to create tasks and recurring tasks to show on your dashboard, much like Google Tasks. A basic To-Do list that shows recurring tasks that you need to complete every month for each client. This links in with XPM as a CRM system.
