XPH - Bulk address change from Client group
In the old XPM we could bulk update client addresses for a client group, this functionality appears to have dropped off the new version, can we have it back please?
Thanks for all the engagement and sharing how valuable this feature is to managing your clients with Xero.
I understand the desire for another update and am pleased to share that this is something our product teams will be addressing and are working on developing within the new unified client experience.
I'll share more news here as this gets closer to release.

The removal of this feature is very disappointing and more disappointing is the fact that after all the negative feedback about the removal of this feature in this thread, Xero has not provided any response since Dec 17, 2025 nor have they reinstated what was one of the very few useful and functional features of XPM. Would seem Xero have very little regard for their Admin users. Not happy, Jan!

Removing this feature from Xero means Xero is going backward. This was such an important feature for us and any accountant. All accountants always deal with multiple clients/entities belonging to same address.
Very very disappointed to see that this feature has been removed -

From an admin perspective this is unacceptable Xero! I have several clients part of enormous groups and having to update each address individually is time consuming and a waste of precious time.
If it aint broke don't fix it!!!!!

Very disappointed to see that the new update for Xero does not include bringing back the bulk address change functionality. New tagline: "Xero increases admin time in business" would be more like it.

Please can we have it back? One of the best things (if not the best) Xero did was allow the address update in bulk in XPM - us admin staff were actually ridiculously happy that day.
Now it just creates so much more work that really isn't in line with Xero's value of 'reducing admin time in the business'. -

"this was an intentional change" for whose benefit?
We have some clients who have 20+ entities!
Talk about a backwards step..... -

My comment is similar to previous users however I am still going to add my feedback as this is an area that puts a huge burden on my admin team and now creates potential issues with missed address changes. Unfortunately the new update looks like we are back in the 90's and using an unhelpful excel spreadsheet, MYOB is looking more inviting by the second!!

Can we employ someone at Xero implementation team that understands accounting / practice admin and understands how everyone is using Xero.
Also a suggestion, prior to changing something like this, how about releasing a poll to see how everyone reacts BEFORE implementing a change.
The Xero prices increases yearly and its frustrating to see such a good system go backwards and pushing people away.
Really hope this can be resolved soon, it has been quite a number of weeks.

Agree it is ridiculous that this change has occured. We have large client groups with upwards of 15 entities that we have to manually update one by one. Please fix this feature ASAP and actually listen to those using the software.

It is really, really frustrating that this is still under "Idea" instead of a critical update. There are a number of Practice Management tools out there that have the bulk address update function as well as other functions that Xero does not provide including not being able to right click on reports to open in a new tab. Why is Xero sending us back to the dark ages. Why has there been no response from Xero for more than 6 weeks - because they cannot make any commitments? We, the customers, are all feeling very let down by Xero with these so called updates.

The intentional change to remove the ability to bulk update clients addresses was obviously made by someone without admin experience. We have clients with over 250 entities and to have to manually enter every one of their address changes individually will be an admin nightmare not to mention the time cost involved. THIS NEEDS TO BE REINSTATED!!!!!

Whoever decided this was a great feature update obviously doesn't have any admin experience. We have large clients with many entities (some with over 200) and you have now increased our admin burden significantly. Way to go, yet again!

Please advise whether Xero is taking any action to address the bulk address update in XPM. We have not received any response from Xero staff since 17 December 2025, and the changes are clearly affecting the administration efficiency of many firms. The current process feels archaic and represents a significant step backwards in usability.

It is disappointing that this change has been implemented. We manage large client groups, often with ten or more entities, and are now required to update each entity manually. This creates unnecessary inefficiency and adds significant administrative time. It is unclear why Xero is making XPM more difficult to use rather than improving overall usability. This feature should be reviewed and corrected as a matter of priority, with proper consideration given to feedback from active users.
Additionally, it is unclear why a country must be selected first when saving an address in XPM. The previous version worked extremely well. A single address input section would be far more efficient, with the option to designate the address as residential, postal, or both within XPM.
