  1. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  2. Sync clients grouped in Xero Green to Xero Blue. Currently groups can be created in Xero Green and Xero Blue independently but are not synced or linked. It would be efficient and helpful to sync the groupings we have created in Xero Green across to Xero Blue.

  3. Where clients are subscribers to their own Xero but add an adviser who is linked to a Xero partner practice, it would be useful if there was an option for them to choose to give the practice as a whole access so that if, eg, their contact leaves, the practice administrator can give access to their new contact as long as they are Partner Staff.

  4. Rename "other name" field to "middle name/s", need another field for casual name (say for example people that go by their middle name) and also put first name or casual name on contact details screen that is shown on front screen, currently showing other name for some reason...

  5. Debit card transactions are not needed to be reported on 1099s. When using bank feeds in checking accounts it does not distinguish debit card vs check. I suggest there be a option to identify debit card vs checks so the debit card activity is not automatically added the the 1099 reporting.

Recent new requirements from the ATO mean that businesses have to nominate new BAS and tax agents via ATO Online Services for Business, before the Agent can add them on their end (on ATO Client Services for Agents). This requires the tax payer to have set up MyGovID, gone into RAM and log into ATO Online Services for Business. The majority of clients have no idea how to do any of this. It would be good, if there was a way that they could nominate the Agent from Xero instead. Perhaps the linking of the Xero file to the ATO…

  8. I would greatly appreciate the option to easily print or download only the pages of a tax return that requires the client's signature, without including the entire document. This feature would be particularly valuable for accountants who frequently need just the signature pages from multiple tax returns. Currently, the process of manually extracting these pages using another software is quite time-consuming.

    Hi Claire, thanks for your interest in this idea. Although we haven't enabled the option to exclude a balance sheet from sole trader accounts within Xero HQ we wanted to share this very exciting update with you. We recently released a direct import of the P&L from Xero onto the self-employment worksheet within Personal Tax, without the need to map the account codes and generate a set of sole trader accounts.

    Previously we only supported an import from Sole Trader Accounts to Personal Tax which for some of our partners involved an extra step, particularly for smaller clients who typically only receive Income & Expenditure accounts. We hope by adding this functionality that you will be able to maximise the more flexible reporting capabilities within Xero to produce accounts for sole traders.   11. It would be very helpful if there was a way to produce a Taxable Payments Annual Report via Xero Tax. I have a couple of clients that are a large construction company, that uses SAP for its accounting. This is not SBR enabled, and does not produce a .tpar file in the format required for lodgement with the ATO. Currently they provide an excel, which has to be transcribed onto the ATO portal. It would be great if we could upload a csv to produce the necessary report and lodge via Xero Tax, and save us significant time.

  12. We would like to be able to hide or remove the Xero sample letter templates as an option in the Tax Payments page. We would like to remove them so that tax admin staff don't accidentally use those templates instead of our custom branded templates.

  14. It would be great if there was a link between the billable expenses in Xero and XPM that would allow for billable expenses assigned to a client to be created as a cost in XPM. We currently add these manually as a cost on the job.

  16. Currently XPM does not send automatic birthday messages to clients. It is a very manual process.
    It would be great if birthday messages are sent automatically out of XPM.

    While we don't have immediate plans for enabling the ability to produce a computation for the current tax year, we're keen to continue gathering support and understand the interest from the community in this idea. We'll let you know if there are any updates around this, here.

  18. From what I understand is common in a lot of firms is when a client leaves/dies/etc their client profile is archived in XPM and the data persists into infinity.

    Given the latest high profile data breaches is would be good if XPM had a Housekeeping module where firms could identify archived clients where the attached Personally Identifiable Information (In particular TFN, Bank account, phone/mobile and addresses) is no longer needed and permanently remove it in a structured process.

    A similar process may need to be created for the forms that we generate from XPM so they they are permanently removed…

  19. In the new job manager Adhoc jobs no longer appear in the all jobs list.

    As part of our Adhoc time review we would turn an Adhoc job into a regular job by changing the name, adding a budget, updating date etc. We have just done this for 50 jobs but they don't appear in the all jobs list.

    There needs to be a way to turn an adhoc job into a regular job. Creating a new job and moving time is an unnecessary step when an adhoc job appearance doesn't look any different to a regular job.

  20. All other access roles can be done from HQ, except for this one.

    Frustrating when this access has not been given to the staff member (overlooked) and staff member needs to create ABA file and cant.
