Appreciate the feedback and including a screenshot of the notifications you're getting on the invoice, Andrew. Just to make sure I fully understand your idea here - Are you saying that rather than seeing the pop up you'd like to have these added as history events to the invoice?

Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback on this here. Through testing we found that majority of our customers would Approve and email an invoice at once, which is why this was developed as the default in new invoicing. That said we appreciate others would like a different action as their primary option.
While we don't have direct plans for adding the ability to set a default for this action, we're listening to your feedback and looking into how we can improve efficiency and speed things up for you when using new invoicing through the use of keyboard shortcuts. We'll share more news when we've confirmed what this shortcut looks like and are closer to providing this to you all.

Hi community, thanks for getting involved here and letting us know the importance around being able to see the details whenever an invoice is sent from Xero. We understand the importance of this to our customers and our product team are beginning to review this idea to solve needs in this space. Hi all, we thank you for all sharing detail on your experience when using new invoicing in Xero. Taking this on board our team have been reviewing the line item grid where you enter details in new invoicing. We have work underway to improve and address points raised such as providing a more compact layout so you can see more at once, showing full account and tracking names, and more direct options to reduce clicks and steps in common actions.
For the time being, small adjustments can be made to your computer scale or browser zooming to see more detail at once, although we understand this is not the ideal solution.
I'll return to let you know when we're closer to release and can share more of the changes.

Hi team, while not available in the Inventory reports directly you could run the Receivable or Payable Invoice Detail reports where you'll find your can group and filter by Item and Tracking which should help you get a picture of quantities purchased and sold by category 🙂

Hi everyone, we're pleased to share that we have some work underway atm that will provide what you'd like to see here. Right now, along with work for managing duplicate bills, and providing a quick view of bills we're developing a bills upload feature where you'll be able to upload or drag & drop a file from your device to create a bill in your Xero organisation. It would save a lot of time and queries from customers if statements could be automatically sent out periodically for overdue invoices. If one customer has 3 relatively small invoices all overdue it will only irritate them to receive 3 separate invoice reminders. Looks much neater and more efficient if all, or any, invoices on the account could be automatically incorporated into one statement.
