Hey everyone 👋 Thanks so much for all the detailed feedback on applying work patterns for part-time employees. We’ve been following the conversation and understand that manually adjusting pay runs for pro-rata entitlements can be a real challenge. It’s clear that having this automated could save time and give you greater peace of mind.
I’m pleased to let you know our product team has reviewed this idea and we’re updating the status to ‘Accepted’. This means that while it’s not on our immediate roadmap, it’s something we see real value in and want to bring into Xero when we can prioritise the work.
In the meantime, the workarounds shared here, like manually adjusting hours in each pay run, remain the best approach. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping Xero. We’ll keep you updated on any developments…

This feature is available within the UK and NZ (i believe) systems, but not Australia? Given the back end software development work has already been done for those countries, surely Xero can speed up the introduction of this feature for Australian customers? It has been highly requested for many years.

This is a critical feature that should have been implemented as a matter of priority. UK and NZ have this feature, so i am perplexed why it cannot be rolled out to suit Australian payroll.

Absolutely a critical function for ensuring leave taken and public holidays are correctly processed and paid.

Understand our customers have different habits when entering dates, Emily. Atm you can use '-' or '/' to separate n umbers in your dates, however as you've found '.' isn't an option. We'll begin gathering interest in this here, and I'll share if there are any updates planned.

Hi team, thanks for showing interest in this idea.
While we don't have any plans for adding this within Xero atm, as mentioned in my last update if you're working on a desktop you can use the 'Home' button on a Windows, or on a Mac you can press the 'Command' key + Left arrow.
This should help when navigating a long lists or pages like reports.
We will continue to track the appetite through this idea.

Hi Waqar, appreciate your feedback and sharing how we could improve Xero for you.
We request that each post be limited to a single request so other in the community can understand what they are voting for, and this also helps when sharing your feedback with the team and keeping users updated of progress for a feature.
In relation to your first idea around reconciling multiple statement lines to one invoice at once. We have an existing idea here that I have added your vote for.
For the second point you've raised about the bank accounts page - could you share more details or maybe a screenshot (removing any person info) to explain what you're after in relation to the spent and received fields?

We ask that each idea is contained to one feature request so that it's easy for other members to understand what they're voting for and we can best keep you updated on any progress on a feature. I've slightly amended the title of your idea here for the first you've shared on the Business Performance dashboard.
We appreciate hearing how you find this useful, however we want to be upfront that we don't have intentions of adding this to the new Homepage, to make way for new features that will be coming soon. You'll be able to continue accessing key information from the Business Performance Dashboard page.
The Tax & Reporting widget has been replaced by a new sales tax widget, and depending on your region this will be available in the next 12 months. We also have an idea…

I am confused by your response, as the work is already done in the back end with it being available in the UK already for some time. What is the holdup preventing this being implemented in Australia?
