AU Payroll - Employee Payroll Details Report
The report should be able to generate Employee Name (First & Last in separate columns), DOB, TFN, Bank Details provided, Super Funds & Address.
We need various information like from time to time for reporting purposes but we cannot get it without having to click in to every single employees - which is hectic

UK Payroll - Export payment file in CSV format
UK Payroll: Payment file csv format
Lloyds bank doesn't accept .txt format. It would be great if we could download a csv payment file to upload the employee pays to the bank.45 votes -
Payroll - Field for Preferred Name
Add a box to payroll for an employee's preferred name, for those who don't use their legal name as their everyday contact, it doesn't need to link to ATO, so no major coding, just be there for reference when contacting the employee. I have several clients with staff that use their middle name or a different version of their first name, that they prefer when being addressed, and it being there in payroll would simplify things.

UK Payroll | Reset holiday accrual on anniversary date
HOLIDAY ACCRUAL SHOULDN'T TAKE A MONTH TO RESET
We have holiday entitlement to reset on the 1st of April each year, however, the holidays don't reset until the 1st of May and after April's pay run.
Please vote for all holiday balances to reset on the actual anniversary date.42 votesHi everyone, a little way on from my last update here and I'm pleased to return with good news. We have a team that's doing some work that'll enable the ability to update an employees holiday leave on their anniversary date.
We expect this to be released in a few months time, and I'll swing back to confirm once released in payroll for the UK. 😁 -

UK Payroll: Reporting - Run a report to calculate holiday pay based on a 52 week average
It would be really useful for those of us in the UK if we could run a report to calculate holiday pay based on a 52 week average. Legally this has been a requirement since 2020.
41 votesHi everyone, thanks for your ongoing interest and support for this idea.
We understand the complexities surrounding calculating holiday pay for employees in the UK, and acknowledge the need to provide a helpful way to calculate an accurate rate in which to pay out their holiday.
Our product team are excited to share that this is an area we are currently looking into developing.
Your feedback and ideas are extremely important to us. As such, we’d like to reach out to our valued community members to get involved in prototype testing, commencing later this month.
The testing will involve using a prototype tool to assess the usability of a proposed way of calculating Holiday Pay in Xero. We'd encourage users that feel strongly about this area of payroll to sign up and welcome users of all experience levels.
Given the popularity of this idea we expect spaces to fill up…

AU Payroll - Include Portable Long Service (BERT/BEWT/ACIRT) on payslips
If this has already been suggested I would like to add in the payroll items an Employer Expense (not a deduction or reimbursement), similar to the way Superannuation is treated, with an expense and liability account. This would account for the BERT & BEWT that is required in the building industry.

AU Payroll - Ability to set a default view for timesheet list
Currently when opening the TIMESHEETS page the order of the timesheets is very random (example attached).
The most common reason for visiting this page is to view and approved/reject timesheets so It'd be very helpful for us when we do open this page that the most recent timesheets awaiting approval are at the top.
Currently we have to click on the 'Last Edited' column header to get the most recent time sheets.
Can we please have this page DEFAULT set up to accommodate most recent date at the top (example attached).
Please join me in my campaign to have this…37 votes -
UK Payroll - Calculate leave in days
Create the option to use Days or hours for time off (holidays).
Holidays are often calculated in days or 1/2 days not hours.
Having this option for pay & pay rates would also be helpful and also on payslips37 votes -
Ability to Import Timesheet templates from excel
Could we have the ability to update timesheets each payrun from and excel spreadsheet.
This is so that admin staff can data enter timesheet information without necessarily having access to the payroll system. This is also in the case of Company's who do not want the Xero Me function.37 votesAppreciate raising the idea here, Mona
With improvements to XeroMe our intention is to make it simpler for employees to self enter this sort of information.
Is there a particular reason why you'd prefer not to use this function? Would be good to be able to share this back with our team or perhaps there's another idea I could be connecting you in with here

AU Payroll: Permission - Function to allow leave authorisers to view Leave Calendar
It would be great for those Approving Leave, to also be able to View the Leave Calendar that is currently available to Payroll Admin users in the Overview Window. Those approving leave need to know who else is on leave for the requested period, which we currently replicate in our Email Calendars, however it would be great to take this step out, it will reduce time and eliminate errors.

UK Payroll: Send P45s direct from Xero

AU Payroll | Lock ABN in Organisation settings once STP filed
I would like Xero to automatically lock the ABN on a client's file after the first STP event has been lodged. This will prevent clients changing the ABN when they change the entity's structure and reporting STP incorrectly across two ABNs. Undoing this mess is a nightmare.
33 votesThanks for your feedback so far, everyone.
We're currently looking at ways we could help fix double counting for issues at the ATO that have been made due to changes made to an organisation's ABN/Branch number and it'd be great to get input and further feedback from some of you here to help us understand and solve these issues.📝If you're interested in participating in this research and would be available to connect (this week) on 24th or 25th November 2022 - Please click through and complete this short survey. Thanks 🙂

Timesheets: Daily approvals
Weekly Payroll calendars and get paid monthly.
It would be advantageous if timesheets can be submitted daily and approved daily.
Reason: approved cannot remember hours staff worked last 30 days. approver has to make a note of hours and then refer to notes when approving timesheets submitted.31 votes
