  1. Please add a setting option or a column for display details about "Account" in the table shown in "Bills to pay" instead of only showing "Ref" which the information of "Account" is important and moreover we don't need to waste time to entry "Ref" for checking.

  2. Currently the super funds appear in the super settings page in no particular order. It would be great if they appear in order so its easier to find and check if they have already been added or if a payment bounces and you need to check details.

  3. When a shopping cart item is purchased via Stripe (as opposed to via an invoice from Xero), the transaction goes to the bank and then is imported into Xero via the bank feed. Because of this, none of my transaction totals or associated fees come through, forcing me to manually adjust every single transaction to properly account for the fees in my bookkeeping. This is unsustainable and ridiculous. When I used PayPal, I was able to set up PayPal as an account and therefore properly reconcile everything coming in through that portal and then associating the transfers with the amounts…

  4. We have two accounts (bank & credit card) from the same institution. For bank feeds, please allow multiple logins from the same institution.

    Once we login for a bank feed on one of the accounts, we can't set up the bank feed for the other account. It just asks us to choose the already logged in account.

    I also reached out to support. They said "a Xero user can only use one set of credentials (per bank) in a Xero organisation. We recommend that you ask another Xero user to login and activate the feed…

  5. It would be great to send an invoice to a client to be signed electronically, and on signing, the signed invoice is automatically attached to the invoice in Xero.

  6. Matching foreign currency transactions - Bills that have been approved in a foreign currency should be checked and matched against local currency transactions. These are very common in credit card transactions for online service subscriptions.

    Also, the default setting to only match to local currency should be removed, or the user should be able to chose the default setting.

  8. Ability to add KPIs to executive summary report e.g. Purchases/Sales percentage for the hospo industry and wages/sales % - these should be at 30% or lower so it would be great to add these into the executive summary report

  9. We have 1,782 “Archived Contacts” from mergers with other data following adoption of Xero Practice Management. The vast majority of these archived clients have the reference field completed with a 6 digit reference that we would like to re-use for the current clients.

    Unfortunately the reference field needs to be unique and so we cannot apply this reference to the current contact until it is changed or deleted in the archived client.

    Please can we have a bulk delete of the reference field for all 1782 archived clients (or add an extra digit if you cannot simply delete the reference…

  10. Kelly Munro shut down discussion on an idea I suggested, because she was under the mistaken impression that she had resolved the issue, which she had not. I suggested that it would be useful to be able to allocate payment of purchase invoice against overpayments and credits. While what Kelly suggested was correct - that this is possible to do when an invoice is first raised, it is only possible at this stage. It is not possible later. I have a client whose main supplier operates a very complicated system of prepayment for orders. This results in a large number…

    Hi Heather, while maybe slightly brash do appreciate the feedback. 

    With your added detail we're happy to have the idea in the forums here that we can get a feel for the appetite on - You're always welcome to reply to an update I've shared on an idea too and we can review this. 


    Please understand it's not my intention to inhibit customer feedback, but will do our best to highlight and share places where features and capability in the product do exist but may just be unknown by users. 

  11. Would like to be able to add a fixed amount deduction as pension contributions. Currently the option is to manually add a pension contribution, but this cannot be submitted direct to NEST, so has to be manually typed into NEST.

  13. Case CX0013378184 - Aged Receivables / Payables Reports have changed - Please re-insert "0.00" balance Current Column

    We urgently request that the “0.00” balance “Current" column be put back into the Aged Receivables / Payables Reports

    XERO has just changed the format of the Aged Receivables / Payables Report to NOT show the "Current" column on the Reports if there is a "0.00" balance.

    This is a huge Problem to us as a company with the way in which we do our reporting as we need that column to show. I cannot see the benefit of why this was changed…

    Thanks for the feedback and raising as an idea here, Katie. We initially made this change based on customer feedback. 

    Appreciate how different businesses have differing needs and we'll keep an eye on the interest of this build here, however want to be open that there are no immediate plans for adding a Current column back to these reports at this stage. 

  14. The ability to flag a customer as "purchase order required". We have a growing number of customers who won't pay us unless we put a purchase order reference on the invoice. It would be good if we can have a flag in the customer that says they require a PO and therefore when we raise an invoice to them it pops up a reminder message.

    Appreciate the feedback here, everyone. As noted in my last update - we released a notes feature in the contact record that enables you to add editable notes (up to 4000 characters) that are visible when viewing the contacts record.

    At this stage, we don't have any plans around pop up notes similar to what's being asked on this idea, however understand this is really what's needed to help solve for your idea here.

    For now, we'll shift the idea back to submitted and continue to track the interest. If there are any other developments that could help achieve what you're asking we'll share this with you all, here.

  15. Xero has the facility to look up UK addresses by postcode when entering new contacts etc.

    Unfortunately it usually makes a such a mess of the address, I end up editing it all again anyway!

    • UK Postcode lookups can return a Company Name (e.g. if there are multiple companies registered at the same address.) Xero adds this company name again to the address. In our case, that is a duplicate of the Contact name, so we take that out to avoid it appearing twice.

    • UK Postal counties are obsolete and should no longer be used in postal addresses. Royal Mail…

  16. It would be extremely helpful to be able to assign a range of default settings to either individual contacts, or to contact groups, such as:
    - invoice template
    - billing cycle (((would also be great to get variable billing cycles as a feature!))
    - currency

    we have a fair amount of customer hierarchy, which we've been able to somewhat address with contact groups.. but the fundamental lack of configurable options after the group is designated feels hugely wasted.

  18. Separating out pre & posttax deductions on PDF payslip. At the minute these are all displayed together.
    Would be better if Pre tax deductions where displayed under gross salary and then taxable pay calculated, before displaying post tax deductions.
    Would be easier for employees to follow.

  19. It would be helpful it Xero could create a Working Capital Balance Sheet, which also includes working capital ratio. Right now you can customize balance sheet layout to do this but a report from Xero would be helpful.

  20. Some xero reports can be run by last month, last quarter, last financial year etc. The above report can only be run by entering specific dates. Could this report have the same pre set date options added? This would be useful for client query lists for monthly/ quarterly BAS Returns, annual accounts/ tax returns etc
