  1. When adding a new employee's super fund, being able to add the fund by entering the USI number.

    If that can't be done, at least show the USI next to the super fund name so we can make sure we are selecting the correct super fund.

  2. Currently, it’s not possible to assign a invoice only-Purchases (orders and bills) user permission and not be able to see bills paid or to have the Invoice Only create drafts user role and see purchase orders approved by other users. Can you include this option in Xero?

  3. Reporting - to run a report that can show payment information (eg. paid date) and reference/item information.

    A report under cash basis does not show the reference that I put on the invoice reference or the item information chosen in the invoice, it is really hard to search receivable payment based on the information I need (PFA).
    A xero support specialist explained that because there is no reference on the payment, I can only search by Contact name or invoice number. But, when we do reconciliations to match the bank received with the invoice, there is nowhere to add an…

  4. Employees cannot enter the number of kilometers to be claimed back in timesheets. A fix is to use the unit Hours instead of Kilometers. However in the Xero Me app they are only allowed to enter up to 24 Km (hours).
    More than 24 units are allowed to be entered directly into Xero but not through the Xero Me app.

  5. Find and match on bank rec to still go green when there is an entry on the discuss tab.

    Currently the right hand side of the bank rec will only turn green if there is a possible match and nothing in the discuss tab. If there is something in the discuss tab it will not turn green even if there is a match.

    It would be great if the border of the box still turned green whilst displaying the comment to indicate that there is a possible match to allow the user to review and ok the transaction.

  7. New quote screen has created a lot of extra steps in creating quotes
    i.e.
    - moved buttons out of intuitive workflow space
    - save button now hidden at top right instead of at bottom of quote
    - quote numbers less visible once saved
    - sending a saved quote takes a lot more steps

    Understand the need for new framework but the workflow changes have made creating quotes longer and more complicated. Thanks.

  8. Bank items to reconcile list ability to toggle all items between 'discuss' and 'match' together as it is easy to miss if an item is showing as 'discuss' but client has uploaded a bill or invoice and it can now be matched

  9. Xero allows invoices to be created in a foreign currency (with the premium subscription plan) but when clients make these payments (which get converted to the base currency) they are not able to be reconciled in the Xero app as both the currency and amount are different so they don’t match.

    On the web, there is an option that can be unchecked to show foreign currency items, which then allows the payment to be reconciled. In my case it is ‘show NZD items only’.

    A similar item would ideally be added to the Xero app so those paid in a…

  10. Add the tick box in Sales Overview > Invoices > ALL tab

    We want to bulk upload all invoices for the week in 1 file regardless of the status (paid/unpaid). We couldn't at the moment because of the absence of the tick boxes in the ALL tab.

    Rounding back on your idea here, Abigail - It'd be good to get more understanding of your business flow and why you'd be wanting to create invoices of another status. For example is here a specific reason you'd like to import invoices that have already been paid for? Could these potentially be entered as Receive monies or is there a reason they need to be raised in Xero once they've already been paid? TIA 

  11. In the old quote version, when adding an item it would search just by the item code which was great.

    Now it searches and displays even in the item description, so now end up with a big list to scroll through with description also showing, and especially as the font is bigger.

    Any chance this can be looked into and item search just looks at item code/name, without searching and displaying description,?

    Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category. 

    The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run. 

  13. Since the new quote format was launched, we are no longer to insert a blank line in our quotes at the beginning of a new item. Previously, this allowed us to space out the quote a little so it didnt look too jumbled and allowed us to space the quote neatly over two pages instead of just having a line of a quote on the second page if it didnt all quite fit on the first. Please put it back to how it was and allow us to insert blank lines at the beggining of an item.

    Hi all, upon revisiting here we'll re-open this idea. 


    As you may have found - While possible to add a new line and drag & drop this to where you'd like it to sit in a quote. Once saved, blank lines that have no data in any field will disappear and lines with detail will condense. 

    Apologies for the earlier misunderstanding and we appreciate those who've feedback on the idea here too. 


    There aren't any direct plans for changing this behaviour for now. We have a keen eye on the interest here so please add your support through votes and importance. 


    For the time being, if you'd like to add a blank line in your quote you'll need to enter a character in the description field of the line - This could just be a hyphen or full stop 

  14. It would be really useful to have a report the same as the "Billable Expense Report - Outstanding" that shows the same info but for paid invoices, preferably with the ability to filter by invoice number or bill number

  16. 1) When creating a draft invoice, and draft invoice is emailed out, it would be good to see from the 'home' page in the 'draft' folder, which invoices have been emailed. This could simply be an icon of an envelope, for example, that shows on the right hand side when the invoice has been emailed (yes even in draft form).
    2) When viewing an invoice, a 'previous/back' and 'next' button to move to the next sequential invoice number (either forward or back) would be great, rather than having to back to 'draft' or 'awaiting payment' folder and then selecting next…

    Hi Katrina, coming back across your idea here I notice there are 2 distinct ideas wrapped into the one. 

    We try to keep one idea per thread to make it clear for others to know what they're voting for and be able to share this information back with our product teams. 

    When you say next and back buttons - would this be when only viewing an invoice (not taking any action)? Reason being, is that there are Save and Approve options from the drop down that'd allow you to move onto the next invoice in the list or add a new one - More detail on this here

    I'll slightly adjust the title here to reflect your first idea, but are welcome to start another if the current approve and next options are sufficient and we can get a feel for the interest around that separately.

  20. One of my clients has suggested that it would be useful to be able to see the contents of the purchase orders on Xero without having to open them to find items ordered. In the same way that a salary is hidden but pops up when a mouse is hovered over on the payroll employee tab, the information on a PO could pop up.

    Opening them all is very time consuming.
