AU Payroll - List more than 50 employees for timesheet approval
Our business is growing, and now we employ over 60 employees. Is it possible to have more than 50 employees listed on one page for payroll processing?
It looks like '50' is the maximum of line items in the drop-down menue, and I have to go the the second page in order to approve all employees for the payroll.3 votes -
Payroll Report - Annual Payroll Summary
A year-end payroll report which lists the employees, and provides total amounts for Gross earnings, PAYE, and all other deductions for the financial year, with company totals at the bottom. Basically it could just be a one-page summary for the year, depending how many employees there are. Most other payroll systems have the report option, and it's very important for end of year wages reconciliations.

AU Payroll - Historical Payslip Report (bulk download)
Create a report to show all payslips for an employee for a given time period. Currently these have to be downloaded one by one.

We understand the need for a straightforward process to download all payslips at once, particularly for WorkCover claims or employee requests where multiple payslips are required. We’re excited to let you know that our product team is now actively working on a solution to allow bulk downloading of payslips.
In the meantime, you can use the Payroll Activity Details report to get a detailed breakdown of each payslip. It's also worth noting that employees can access and download their own payslips directly through the Xero Me portal.

AU Payroll - Superannuation end of quarter reminder
Would be great if Xero could trigger an automated (email and/or text) reminder to the superannuation payment approver 10, 5 and one days out from the superannuation due date each quarter.
A similar reminder feature already exists in XPM for Activity Statement Lodgements - reminders can be turned on.
Xero also has the ability to automate reminders to Customers around bill payment.
Xero has the email and SMS of the superannaution approver already on file.

AU Payroll - Annual Transaction Listing report per employee
Hi
I would like to be able to process a Payroll Transaction Summary Listing report that shows the individual amounts per pay item for every employee for the financial year in one report. Currently, I need to select the individual employee to get this information, but this is not practical when a business has 10 or more employees as it takes too much time to select each employee individually to get this information.

AU Payroll - Set a percentage on an employees bank account
Give the ability to set a percentage (i.e) 50% on an employees bank account when paying across more than one bank.
I have an employee who always splits her pay equally between 2 bank accounts, however she is a commission paid rep and therefore each pay amount is different. So the current function is no use to me- which allows a $$ amount to be set only. This is fine for set salaried employees but not for commissioned sales reps.

AU Payroll - Support for nonregulated super funds
SUPER NON Regulated Super Fund Set Up - There are many Non Regulated Super funds out there and Xero only provides a list of Regulated Super Fund name to choose/ set up under payroll settings so when an employee has a NON Regulated Super Fund you can not set up or choose in the Employee card. The current work around is to Choose another Super Fund name (fraught with danger) in the Employee card then make manual payments. Payroll Activity Detail Report (AU & NZ) - Definition of employees in the report
The new Payroll Activity Detail Report is very hard to read when there is more than a couple of employees.
I understand that the new report format has been designed to reflect the other updated reports in Xero. However, so that it is more user-friendly, can we have:
1 - A blank line between each employee so that it is easier to see quickly where one employee's details cease and the next employee's details start.

AU Payroll - Superannuation Payment: Filter by Week Ending not Due Date
It would be great to be able to filter by the PAYROLL DATE not just the DUE DATE for Superannuation Payments.
This would make it a lot easier when creating smaller super batch payments.
Currently, we pay our 100 staff's super each month (30 days after) and this means I need to manually click next to each individual payment line. I can multi-select all, but that will select every single line for all months.8 votes -
AU Payroll - Add birthday notifications for staff
Could we include a notification when a staff member has a birthday? This has multiple benefits including allowing us to check if their award salary or benefits need to change and also be able to congratulate them on their birthday. Surely it wouldn't be a huge change to make but would be a unique and helpful change for many SME as I currently need to create a new Google calendar for staff birthdays, creating additional work especially when we have 50+ staff and low retention in hospitality. 94 votesAppreciate the interest through the idea, but want to be open that we don't have any development planned for adding reminders or notification of an employees birth date atm.
I see there are some supporters from NZ and UK in the idea here and wanted to point you across to these specific ideas for each region that I'd encourage adding your support for - Each version of Xero Payroll has been developed specifically for the that regions tax and reporting obligations and this would need to be developed for each version separately. 6 votesHi community, appreciate your sharing in community here. Atm if you're wanting to change the payment date for an unscheduled pay run, you can edit the payment date while the pay run is in draft status. We don't have any plans for automating this.

AU Payroll - Add Seasonal Worker option for income type/tax scale
Xero needs to have an option in either Income Type or Tax Scale for employees on the Seasonal Worker Program, ie PALM Workers, so that the system automatically taxes them at the flat rate of 15%.
At the moment I have approx 33 such employees and I must adjust their tax in every single payrun.
The ATO have a specific code (W > P) that should be used for these workers under STP Phase 2 reporting. AU Payroll - Allow non employees to submit timesheets through web and Xero Me
Create timesheet availability to Contractors set up in Xero payroll as Non employee.
Currently this is only available to employees.Require the ability to process timesheets to pay Subcontractors for hours worked on site so Super is taken into account but PAYG is not applicable.

AU Payroll - Adding the USI to the Add Employee Superannuation Membership
When adding a new employee's super fund, being able to add the fund by entering the USI number.
If that can't be done, at least show the USI next to the super fund name so we can make sure we are selecting the correct super fund.

AU Payroll - Full data import for Employees
Enable full data import from external data source (say CSV) for all emplolyee data not just basic data. That would allow organisations with more staff to easily migrate to XERO without having to manually re-enter significant volumes of data.
