  1. When purchasing product from clients we issue them with a hand-written Buyer Created Invoice on farm & then need to input this into Xero as a bill payment. But this doesn't show that it was a buyer created invoice. Please can this option be added

  2. New Invoices - Option to Reflect All Open Invoice Totals in "Total Amount Due"

    It would be helpful to have the total amount due reflected in the total amount due for new invoices.
    I already send customers reminders, account statements, etc. Perhaps some customers do not read what I'm sending to them. If the total amount due was on the invoice, it would be very clear as to the total amount owed.

  4. An option to turn ALL active reminders off/on for if you are planning to go away for a week or so.

    The invoice reminders currently automatically send 7 days after due, which is too early.
    Many of our clients pay within the 7 days after due and if I haven't had time to reconcile the payment within that time they will get a reminder.
    Please let us be able to adjust when we would like to send reminders such as 14 days or a month or manual option.

  5. GoCardless offer Subscription Templates and the processes by which customers can sign up for them are simple and effective.

    For my company offering Boiler Service Plans it would be great to use GoCardless to sign customers up, but then have Xero keep a record of Invoices and Direct Debit Payments.

  6. Stop "Mark as sent" pop-up for every invoice. When making multiple new invoices, this pop-up occurs for each invoice made, no matter if reminders are turned off. This is new, started April 2024, and XERO support states there is no way to turn this off.

    Hello community, we’re happy to let you know that you’re now able to add a date paid column in the Receivable Invoice Summary report. To see the date paid column in this report, you’ll need to tick the ‘Last Payment Date’ option under Columns.

  8. Could you please look at making the e-invoicing toggle button as default.
    This will allow the invoices raised in Xero Practice Manager to be sent to Xero and then sent in Bulk (email multiple clients from awaiting payment) rather than selecting it manually. This will save a lot of time and also allow the other side to receive the invoice in their system.
    Currently what it is doing is getting us to go into the invoice and then manually toggle this for clients we know are setup for e-invoicing. If this is handle automatically it will achieve its true…

  9. When an invoice in emailed in Workflowmax it is marked with a tick as “Sent”, however this does not carry through to Xero. Is it possible to add this feature so that invoice payment reminders in Xero automatically work without the need to manually change the invoice status to “Sent”?

  12. Can the bill or invoice number be added to the description shown when Xero automatically adds it to the short term cash flow. See picture for item added manually where we add the bill number and then item added by Xero where none is shown. This will really help where we have multiple items for the same customer/supplier for the same amount.

Our administrator generates our invoices and has Invoice Only Access, we need her to be able to change whether an invoice is paid by GoCardless or not, one of our company owners has to do this at the moment which is an inconvenience, please change so users with Invoice Only Access have the ability to change online payments.

    Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
    We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
    We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar.

  15. When raising client invoices, it would be good to be able to submit the invoice to a Manager for approval.
    When processing supplier bills, it would be good to be able to submit the bill to a Manager for approval of payment of that expense.
    In both cases, this would mean that approval details of "who" and "when" would be noted in the History of the invoice/bill without needing to attach a file showing the approval or tracking this outside of the system.
    Ideally keeping the Approval role completely separate to the ability to edit the invoice/bill…

  16. Our users email received invoices to Xero and then go into the Drafts Folder to check/process the bill - but if we make their Role 'Draft Invoice Only', they can't see the draft orders that the system created from the emails.

    This means that the users can't use the auto Bill creation process and have to enter them manually.

  18. We have problem with Xero, For one user Xero approving and then editing same invoice on same time, When it is editing on same time it is adding same line items twice on the invoices resulting invoice amount is double. Any one having same issue ? How to solve this issue ?

  19. I have worked with an accounting system that allows many rows e.g. description, Qty, Price, Account and Tax rate to be copied from Excel (at a go) and pasted to create an invoice, Journal etc. This saves a lot of time.

When creating an invoice using mobile app being able to change a customers payment preference on an invoice through the mobile app not waiting for main computer or laptop instead of automatically being set to direct debit which for one off customers or short term contracts which differ in each payment is not applicable using a mobile. Normally everyone carries their mobile not always a laptop! It would be nice if the mobile app was in sync
