How to make Xero projects report in Zoho Analytics
I have Integrated the Zoho Analytics with Xero through the Import Service in Zoho Analytics. But I am unable to fetch the Xero project module data, rest other modules data I received in Zoho Analytics.
Please let me know how i can get the projects module data also. So I can create reports over Xero project module in Zoho Analytics , and can include this report in the dashboard which I have created in Zoho Analytics.1 voteHi Stefano, we have an API ideas forum where these sort of integration requests are best suited. Dashboard - Option to pin the bank summary report to the Dashboard
Pin the Bank Summary report to your Dashboard
It would be nice to be able to Pin the Bank Summary on the Dashboard so that you can see the In and Out on your bank feed with a glance.

Aged Receivables Reports - Send Statements
It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.
A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

Bank Reconciliation report - Default to show decimal places
Can we please have the bank reconciliation reports default to show decimal places. I've never seen a bank rec that rounds off the decimals until Xero introduced it.

Earlier this year we rolled out a change to the Bank Reconciliation report, it now defaults to including decimal places. This can be changed by deselecting 'Decimals' from the 'More' menu. I've attached a screenshot as an example 😊

Reporting - Add report fields
Customising and adding Employee Details Fields so that Employee Details Reports can be produced providing all required information and important information regarding the employee can be kept. For example, licence numbers, certifications etc.

Account Transactions Report - Hide archived accounts
Archived accounts should have some method to prevent them from appearing in dropdown menus, such as the Account Transactions report. It gets ugly and cluttered. Xero is supposed to be beautiful.

With today's release for reports we're giving you a dropdown option to Include/Exclude Archived accounts in the Account Transactions report. 🙂 Give it a go today, and save as Custom to access with these settings anytime! -
AU Payroll - Reports - Sort by First OR Surname
I would like the payroll reports to be able to be sorted by first name or last name. I sue them for a number of reporting requirements with third parties and it would make it so much easier if I was able to do this.

Contacts - View unallocated Overpayment/Prepayment/Credit at a glance
When looking at a customer's account in Contacts, there should be a spot in the invoices due that shows clearly if there is an unallocated overpayment, prepayment or Credit at a glance.
There also needs to be a better report just for unallocated Prepayments, Credits and Overpayments.
I find the Receivable Invoice Summary isn't wait I'm looking for as it doesn't fulfil the job required.

Custom reports
Custom Reports on Xero are not really true custom reports as they are limited to only some data.
On some other accounting packages you can include almost any financial or labelled data or contact.
We recently had to recall a product - we could report on which clients had purchased the product but could not draw up a report that included who purchased the item with their contact details or email alongside.
The info is all sitting in the Xero database but we had to individually look up over 50 email addresses to write to them about the…
4 votesHi all, while we appreciate feedback from you all here I want to be open that we don't intend on enabling the ability create a complete custom report that could include any data field across Xero.
That being said, our Reporting team have put a lot of focus into Xero's new reports to provide more visibility of activity and transactions, and flexibility to our users in the way they set these up.
Appreciate the specific details you've noted here aren't currently available in Xero - the closest would be Smart Lists however this is limited to customers at present - if this is something you'd often look up I'd recommend adding your support to the idea here.
We'll keep developing on Xero's reports - so if there is specific detail/results you'd like to see in a report welcome to start ideas for these that we can gather interest on.

Cash Summary Report - Sort by Account Code
Would love for the Cash Summary report to be able to be sorted by Account Code (like the P&L can).

1 voteHi everyone, we're now happy to say that the enhanced Cash summary report is now released, which has the ability to sort by account code.
To do this, you can click 'More', then tick 'Account codes' checkbox. Once this is done, you can also save the report as 'Custom' if using account code is your preferred layout, so the next time you open the report, you don't need to tick the checkbox again - see our article for more information.

Purchase orders: Ability to add CIS labour & materials
Allocate purchase orders to CIS labour & CIS material account codes. Obviously these shouldn't be included in the CIS report until the purchase order is changed into a bill.

Expense and Income By Contact report - Ability to view contacts business number
one of the ATO requirement is to submit the Expense from other companies with ABN into it. if you can implement by adding ABN to the report, it will be really helpful for us.

Report - Show Opening & Closing Balance, Total Debit & Credit for All Accounts in Columns
To have a report that can check the information of opening balance, total debit, total credit, and closing balance during the date range for the all the accounts in columns.

User role - Read Only access to reports only
To be able to add restrictions to the Read Only permission for users so that bank account details are not available but allow users to only have access to reporting, income/expenditure transactions etc.

UK Payroll - Employee time tracking
I need to report on employee timesheets against my tracking categories. For example how many hours have employees recorded against Job A, Job B, Job C etc in any given timescale. In the transaction/payroll activity report it only gives £ and not into tracking categories.

New General Ledger Summary report - Reorder columns (Account Code before Account Name)
New General Ledger - It would be good if you can have the option to have the code number first before the account name

Report Settings - Option to set defaults for cover page & content page
for blue xero, we have to continually tick COVER PAGE, CONTENT PAGE, and other functions. Please allow us to set a permanent setting so we can generate the reports more quickly

In Xero HQ, when opening a report template there is an Options button which contains Publishing defaults where you can choose to automatically include or exclude Contents page and Cover page.
