Quotes - Email attached files with quote
Ability to attach files when sending quotes to customers.
Purpose: To notify customers of the details on the quotes.
May 2021 our Mobile teams released some updates to enable you to include attached files when sending quotes from Xero's mobile app.
A bug step forward for many here dealing with quotes on the go, being able to access, attach and send.
We understand there are many involved in the conversation here, who'd like to see this developed on the full version when accessed via the web. Our Quotes team have been doing a lot of groundwork to upgrade the quotes platform, and are now working on the front end of Quotes. While there won't much new functionality in the beginning, we have a fine eye on attaching files.
As there's more news, we'll drop more updates for you all.

We have numerous base quotes that we need to send specifications with and need to include these with the Xero quote email as they detail power, waste and water requirements which need to be understood at the time a quote is being considered.

We do insurance related claims. I need to send a report as an attachment to my client when sending the quote. The Client can not open the online link as their IT department and firewall has blocked the opening of the link on their system.
Printing and emailing through Outlook is just a waste of time. Please assist in getting this option available for us. It cant be that difficult???

We have 3 major documents that we need to attach to most quotes. We would need these attached to the email sent with the quote and would not expect the client to drill into the online quote to see the attachments.

We run a business in the construction industry and the space available for terms & conditions on a quote is not adequate enough in Xero. We have to be very precise in stating what we require from our client so that they are able to make an informed decision to approve our quote or not. It is pointless having to double handle everything.

We run a hire business. We want customers to know our terms and conditions from the outset as so many take up our time and then pull out at the last minute. At the moment the file attachments only show up with the online quote, there is no option to send them with the email as there is with invoices. I really need this functionality.
