  2. Enable full data import from external data source (say CSV) for all emplolyee data not just basic data. That would allow organisations with more staff to easily migrate to XERO without having to manually re-enter significant volumes of data.

    Hey team, we appreciate wanting to upload more employee details when setting them up. While we have recently released an updated process to bulk uploading employees, we want to be upfront that this only allows the bulk upload of basic fields such as names, dates of birth and addresses.

    This may be something we consider longer term and we would like to continue to track interest through the idea here.

    If there are any plans made we'll share an update with you all on this idea. Thanks

  3. Ability to import the number of days of annual leave/other leave taken per employee for the month. It is very time consuming to manually add the leave taken for each employee when completing the payroll each month.

  4. Integration of all employee leave taken with a shared calendar in outlook or calendar in Xero itself that everyone can view to see who is on leave and when.

  5. When employees are using xero me app to book leave and the amount of leave they are requesting will cause their leave balance to go to a negative, either the app needs to not allow them to submit the leave as they are in negative already or will go negative or an alert to say that they are/will be in negative that they then need to acknowledge to submit the leave.

  6. Pay rates rounding by 4 decimal points causing an underpayment of wages. EG: Base rate is 25.65 x 1.5 = 38.475000 but the award rate is actually 38.48. Need a solution for this ASAP. Also change decimal place settings for pay slip and pay template items such as superannuation.

    We can see you raised this a little while ago, thank you for your patience whilst it was being reviewed. We can see this idea has been steadily gaining support so have now updated the status accordingly. Whilst this is not currently on our product team's roadmap, they are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.

  7. Ability to draft future payruns - ie more than 1 darft payrun. Especially at Christmas time. I would like to draft up future payruns before Igo on leave, but still have the ability to adjust this week payrun for overtime etc. At the moment I can't move forward until I complete current payrun. or i have to do un unscheduled payrun to fix it. Very time consuming

  9. I like to be able to change a payrate in advance but still be able to use the old payrate in the current pay runs. Then adding a new line for ordinary hours with the new pay rate if it starts in the middle of a pay week. This way you don't have to go into each employee to change the rate if you have a pay week where it is the old payrate for eg 2 days and the new one for 3 days.   11. When adding a new employee's super fund, being able to add the fund by entering the USI number.

    If that can't be done, at least show the USI next to the super fund name so we can make sure we are selecting the correct super fund.

    Currently to make sure I am selecting the correct super fund in Xero when adding a new employee, to confirm the USI I need to go to my organisation, settings, payroll settings, superannuation and then, because I can't sort alphabetically or search for a fund name or USI, I basically have to add a…

  12. Require an SGC statement report ( a combination of Employee remuneration + payroll activity summary report) that includes all details required about the employee and super accrued on OTE + Overtime hours worked. This would enable efficient reporting to the ATO when super payments are late.

    In the meantime, it may be useful to note that the classification field is an editable field and is included in the remuneration report.

  15. "As an employee submitting my expenses I don't want to be left out of pocket because Xero Expenses doesn't allow me to set the exchange rate I was charged by my bank."

    Xero Expenses uses XE.com exchange rates for foreign currency exchange rates and it's not possible to override/change this.

    It should be possible for the employee, or approver, to manually set the foreign and domestic currency amounts, or set the exchange rate itself.

  16. Weekly Payroll calendars and get paid monthly.

    It would be advantageous if timesheets can be submitted daily and approved daily.
    Reason: approved cannot remember hours staff worked last 30 days. approver has to make a note of hours and then refer to notes when approving timesheets submitted.

  19. Payroll doesn’t calculate pension until after you submit the payroll/RTI, so you don’t know what the actual net payments are until submitted. Try explaining to a client that what they signed off isn’t what they actual pay.

    Thanks for this feedback on how pension enrollment currently works in Xero payroll. It’s been a little while since you raised this idea, so we wanted to check in. We can see this idea has been steadily gaining support. Our product team are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.

    In the meantime, here's a tip to trigger pension assessment before posting the pay run:

    1. With the pay run in draft click Post.
    2. When the Automatic pension enrolment pop up displays, click Confirm.
    3. On the Complete Pay Run pop up, click Cancel.
    4. You can now open the draft payslip or download pay run reports with the pension deductions included.
  20. with the new functionality of adding start end times and notes, we are not able to print or download this data in any reporting. the only way we can SEE this info is in the individual timesheet by person.
    If you can update the report to include all information that would be useful as the current process is only half done.
