Thank you for your interest in having multicurrency available on Xero’s Ledger plans.
We’ve carefully considered this idea as part of our ongoing product reviews. At this stage, enabling multicurrency for Ledger plans is not in our development pipeline, and there are no plans or timelines to introduce this feature for Ledger.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue to review our product roadmap based on customer needs and market demand. If the status of this idea changes in the future, we’ll be sure to provide an update.
Thank you again for your suggestion and for helping us shape the future of Xero. 🙂

XPM - Order fields in the Clients tab
In the new Clients tab, to have the ability to customise where the details are showing in the Information tab.
For instance, the Referral source (which we do not use) is currently showing at the top of the screen, whereas the IRD Number which is needed have to scroll down to view.18 votesThanks for sharing your feedback on customising field order in the Clients tab. Practice Manager (XPH) - Increase date range limit for custom fields beyond 50 years
Ability to add a date greater than 50 years. We have a custom field for trust vesting date (typically up to 80 years after formation). Since the latest update we are unable to add date greater than 50 years.

UK Tax - Create accounts without using Xero's Fixed Assets Module
We would like to be able to generate partnership and sole trader accounts in Xero without having to use Xero's fixed asset module. The fixed asset note generated in the accounts not is currently not fit for use without uploading all assets into the fixed asset module.
1 voteHi Victoria, thank you for sharing this idea with is. We understand that while the Fixed Assets module is a core part of Xero, many practices use specialized external software or custom spreadsheets to manage their asset registers. Currently, the UK Tax and Accounts Production workflow is designed to pull directly from the Xero Fixed Asset module to ensure data integrity, but we recognize that being "forced" into this workflow can create extra manual work for those using external tools.

XPM - Ability to Archive contacts
When we are archiving a client there should be the ability to archive the contacts (if they are not linked to an active client profile). Or at least be able to Archive them from the contacts page https://hq.xero.com/clients/contacts
Currently the only option is to edit or delete, deleting is not a great option should you need to follow revisit something in the future.
If you don't delete them, you are then left with the contact appearing in the suggestion list when trying to connect clients to a client profile.

Billing and Subscriptions - Simplify reactivation of subscriptions.
Make the reactivate process easier. Currently you need to change the selection to "All" under myxero. Hidden in the filter icon, could be more obvious with a visible drop down when you click subscription tab.
Current process
Select the Subscriptions tab.
Click the filter icon next to the search bar, select All, and search by the organisation name.1 voteHi Hunter, thanks for sharing your idea here.

NZ Tax - Collect tax directly for IRD
Have Xero collect and pay the tax directly to the IRD on clients behalf. A little bit like Hnry, but do it better. Would be great for small business/contractors etc. IRD have really struggled to collect tax/gst in specific industries like construction and hospo
1 voteThanks for sharing this idea. We appreciate you explaining how direct tax collection and payment could support small businesses and contractors, especially in industries where tax compliance can be challenging.

Practice tools | Clients - Jobs & Invoices view 'Archived' in the main tab
Recent change in XPM has moved the old/archived jobs and invoices to a different tab. I prefer the old layout where you can see the current and old jobs all in one place/screen.
The archived or old jobs have been moved to a different tab which means you cannot see both open and closed jobs at the same time. We rely on this when preparing annual accounts and tax returns because we often review all invoices or jobs for a full financial year, we hardly ever are only looking at the open jobs or invoices. The issue is we can…
44 votesHi everyone, upon further deep diving into the discussion raised here we are going to re-open this idea. We appreciate how being able to see both active and archived Jobs within a Client is useful to some practices workflows. We will be sure to share if there are any plans made around this with you here. Thanks

Subscription Transfers - Indicate current subscription
When a subscription is transferred to manage from one entity to another, there should be some sort of indication of what subscription package they are on. Currently we have to go back to the past accountant / client and ask.
1 voteHi Lisa, thanks for sharing this here. We can appreciate that having an indication of a subscription would be a good addition to avoid back and forth. We're moving this idea to gain more support so that other users such as yourself who would like to see this change implemented can also add their vote. UK Tax - Ability to edit account headings on company accounts generated through blue Xero
It would be good to have the ability to amend account headings through the new company accounts via Xero blue. This could be linked to the reporting name or as an iXBRL heading. The main issue we are trying to address is including brackets around the word profit when there has been a disposal of a fixed asset (or loss if it is showing in the income section). just for clarity on the accounts.
1 voteThanks for sharing in the forums here, Becky. Appreciate the understanding of the pain point currently faced and how this could improve clarity. For now, we'll start to get a sense of the community interest in this here and I'll let you know if there are any updates.

Clients - Copy address to Street/Postal
The process for entering addresses for clients needs to be easier and more streamlined. It should default to Australia (the overwhelming majority of clients have Australian addresses). You should also be able to copy street address to postal address, rather than having to reenter the data.
15 votesHi Megan, so we can get a sense of the interest in the two aspects of ideas you noted in this idea I've just split the second to this post so we can track these separately. If there are any plans made for either of these improvements we'll share on the respective idea. Thanks

Clients - Default address to practice region e.g (AU)

Xero Sign - client details added automatically
Xero sign in document packs - you currently need to manually input the client's details to add their signature for each document pack (for docs with no auto signing feature like tax returns).
It would be great if there was an option to simply select a client from XPM as all the details are already there (First name/Last name/Email)
4 votesHi everyone ✨ Thanks for sharing your feedback on this idea. We appreciate the time taken to do this and we would like to be completely transparent around this Idea. It is not in the immediate future planning however we have moved the Idea to Gaining Support. XPM - Pre-fill PAYG Instalments report
In Xero Practice Manager, we can view the ATO prefill PAYG Instalment amounts for each client individually. Is it possible for XPM to create a report or export option that allows us to download the full ATO prefill PAYGI list for all clients at once?
15 votesHi Tanya, thanks so much for your feedback on PAYG Instalment reporting in XPM. We really appreciate you taking the time to share how a bulk export of ATO prefill data would help your practice.
We’ve reviewed your idea and moved it to Gaining Support, which means it’s now open for the community to vote on and add their own comments. XPM - Exported invoices client and contact details included automatically
When exporting invoices from XPM to Xero it should by default export the client name, address, email address and contact number.
Currently it only exports the client name and postal address, and contact name, email and phone number (but only if that contact is NOT a client in XPM and only if you select that contact when preparing the invoice - forget the contact and you are back at square one.).
If we have an individual as a client in XPM, and send this client an invoice: currently XPM will only export an email and phone number if we add…
5 votesThanks for the comprehensive and exhaustive idea around how contact and client details could be included when invoices are synched from XPM to Xero blue. As you may know there is a new platform (PartnerHub) which you may be aware of, and will be released fully in the near future. You may find that the issue is covered in the new experience. We will move this to Gaining Support so the community can get behind this add their votes and comments.

AU Tax - Partial Main Residence Exemption Code (in the CGT Worksheet section)
Recently we had a client who sold their property, which triggered a CGT event. The property was initially their main residence, however this ceased once the property commenced being rented out. Therefore, a partial main residence exemption applies, however Xero Tax doesn't currently provide a code to acknowledge this scenario, once providing a main residence exemption code (see attachment). For enhanced clarity, it would arguably be useful if such a code was provided, so the gross capital gain can be apportioned between the amount subject to CGT & amount subject to the full MRE.
3 votesThanks so much for sharing your feedback on adding a Partial Main Residence Exemption code to the CGT Worksheet in Xero Tax.
As you know, right now, the best workaround is to manually adjust either the Capital proceeds or Cost base in the worksheet. This helps ensure the correct Net capital gain flows through to Item 18A, and still lets you use Exemption Code I. We know it’s not ideal, and it’s exactly the kind of thing you want a built-in solution for.
We’ve reviewed the idea and moved it to Gaining Support, which means it’s now open for more votes and discussion. Community support plays a big part in helping our product team understand the need. We’ll update the thread if anything changes.

Reporting - 'Fit-to-Page' Option for PDF Export
Adding additional formatting options for reports so that we could fit reports to one page when exporting to PDF. Too many financials currently export with one or two line on the last page. This creates messy looking financials that are too many pages.
3 votesThanks for submitting your idea and outlining your key needs. We’ve reviewed it and opened it up for community support 😊
