  1. Currently when copying a job then the costs and milestones are automatically copied as well. It would be great to be given the option to copy these or not. Most of the time we do not want to copy these specifically the costs

  3. To record details of queries sent from Xero Ask such as
    - created date
    - Who created
    - date sent
    - who sent it
    - recipients that received the query

    Purpose: This would be helpful when a client says they have not received a query

    Appreciate wanting history for Xero Ask queries. 

    This was briefly looked into, however I do want to confirm that there are no plans for developing history for Xero Ask at this time.  

    We'll move the status of this idea back to submitted and continue to get a sense of the interest around this, here. 

  4. XPM Notes - Restore date and time details.

    With the new changes to notes in XPM it now shows an approximate timeframe ie- a month ago, 2 months ago.

    It no longer shows an actual time stamp on the note to know when it was created or when it was edited...

    We use the notes section to record ATO interactions and being able to give them an exact date is much more effective than to say about 2 months ago. Especially when they haven't met their requirements with solving issues.

  5. One example.. editing Client details, there is a Title field, it is a dropdown box with heaps of options.

    It should be possible to type something into the field to filter the results.

  6. We'd like the ability to import job budgets at the time of importing new jobs. The budget field seems to be a standard field for jobs, so I see there would be no reason we can't add the budget at the same time of the import.

    Hi team, we appreciate the interest from users in this idea and while this isn't something we have immediate plans for at this stage we are continuing to watch interest in this closely and will share if there are any updates. Thanks

  8. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  9. Whilst this currently auto calculates, there is no calculation in Xero to confirm the return has the correct amount. This has to be checked manually, which can leave room for errors and requires extra work by users. It would be more efficient if the system could check this.

  11. We are finding staff are regularly being logged out of XPM when they move between the 'Clients' tab & the 'Jobs' tab. When this happens it asks staff to log back in, but we are finding it is taking them to random different areas of XPM instead of back to where they were. i.e Setting up a new organisation page, in the middle of a client file etc. This appears to be a basic functionality issue that needs to be fixed.

  12. Enable reporting / export for the 'Fee from Refund' field under Tax under the Tax and Company section in clients.

    The other fields in the ax and Company section are available in the Client & Contact Report Builder, however this field is overlooked. I understand that there is a 3rd party request to have this field included in the Client API.

  13. In XPM there is currently no option for Unitholders in the Relationships section. Currently need to use either Shareholders or Beneficiaries so that information flows into Group Structure charts that receive data from XPM, neither being ideal particularly when sending that chart to banks.

    Request that a Unitholder option be added to the Rekationships.

  14. When doing a CTR for a client that has an ARBN. There is no ARBN field to enter this detail for our client.
    Can you please create a ARBN field and for this to pull from the clients details onto the CTR - as per the attached screenshot of the CTR

  18. Document Packs when resent do not update the "History" in Xero Tax. This means that the most recent reminder in Xero Tax can actually be much more older than that from the Xero Document Pack

    Would be good to see the history in Xero tax use the dates from the reminders sent in the document pack instead of having to leave Xero tax to find out.

  19. Since the recent updates in Nov/Dec 2025, when adding staff access to Blue Xero clients in Xero HQ, the staff list now shows ALL staff members, including those who are inactive or no longer working. Previously, only active staff were displayed.

    Having inactive and former staff appear in this list creates unnecessary clean-up work, as these users must be manually removed. Restricting the list to 'active staff only' would improve usability and reduce the risk of incorrect access being assigned.
