  2. Add the Ability to lodge NLA for TPAR using Practice Manager, allowing clients to sign the NLA and submit to the ATO.   3. It would be great to have the ability setup recurring invoices directly in XPM for annual agreements rather than "pushing" recurring invoices similar to setting up recurring jobs in XPM.

Trust Tax Return Reports - Summary Only and Summary and Worksheets - to be able to print the Trust Reporting Requirements pages (Annual Accounts information, Settlor & Beneficiary disclosures) as a separate report. The Summary Only and Summary and Worksheets Reports be as previously, that is the one page summary of income & tax (plus Worksheets when selected).

Could we get a PAYG Instalment worksheet please, with an option to tick if a client is a new entrant to the PAYG instalment system and a field where we can enter the expected lodgement date of the tax return. These fields can then drive the PAYG instalment estimate for the current financial year.
    Currently Xero just estimates the instalments for the four quarters which isn't always correct. For example if we lodge a return in November and the client is entering the PAYG instalment system for the first time, there's no way to zero out the September quarter without…

  8. The process for entering addresses for clients needs to be easier and more streamlined. It should default to Australia (the overwhelming majority of clients have Australian addresses). You should also be able to copy street address to postal address, rather than having to reenter the data.

  9. It would be really helpful if invoice templates could adjust automatically based on client type, instead of having to create and assign multiple templates manually.

    For example:
    1. Individuals and Partnerships would include the 'Attention' field, but not include the 'Contact Name' field
    2. Company invoices would include the 'Attention' field, but not the 'Contact Name' field
    3. Trusts, SMSFs, and Charities would include both the 'Attention' field and the 'Contact Name' field

    This would save time, reduce errors, and ensure invoices are always addressing the legal entity correctly for each client type.

  10. A report that could tell you the status of all clients super payments that are processed through the Xero super function. This would allow practices to ensure compliance with ATO processing and payment dates

  12. It would be great to show the lock dates from each client's Xero file in HQ. Visually, it would be very similar to the Year End column, and likely not enabled by default.

    This would allow Advisors to easily identify clients that don't have prior periods locked, and then go into those files and correct it. This would increase usage of this important data protection feature and reduce errors caused by inadvertent prior period adjustments.

  13. There should be the option to show the tax estimate (i.e.: calculation page) for companies on the front page of the tax return instead of being buried within the body of the report.

    For a lot of clients the first page is what they are really interested in (calculation of tax payble/refundable).

    Having the flexibility of being able to change page ordering within Xero Tax without having to do it manually would be helpful.

  14. Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.

    For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.

    It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

  15. When we send out an Activity Statement, a tax return, an fbt return, etc... is it possible to CC another contact? (one that isn't required to e-sign but is required to see the return and payment information and just be kept in the loop in general)

  17. Since the recent XPM update in Nov/Dec 2025, the balance date for new clients is now auto-populating as January. For the majority of New Zealand clients, the balance date is March, so defaulting to January is not practical.

    If the balance date is going to be auto-populated, it should default to March rather than January to better reflect common NZ reporting periods.

  18. Following the recent XPM updates in Nov/Dec 2025, the client screen does not display correctly when viewed on a mobile device. The page layout appears distorted and is difficult to read, making it hard to use in a mobile web browser.

    Older XPM pages that have not been updated yet still display normally on mobile, so it would be helpful to improve the layout and usability of the updated client screen to ensure it is mobile-friendly for web access.

  19. In Xero Practice Manager, we can view the ATO prefill PAYG Instalment amounts for each client individually. Is it possible for XPM to create a report or export option that allows us to download the full ATO prefill PAYGI list for all clients at once?

  20. I am hoping it might be possible to create a default for the Agent setting. If this were possible, when we add new clients onto XPM, the Agent field would default to our Agent details, as we only have one Agent to select from.
