  1. Currently the custom Pool creation option does not allow for the specific depreciation requirements of a software development pool - First year to be Nil, the second , third and forth years at 30% and the final fifth year of 10%. Without this function the depreciation for these assets needs to be calculated manually.

  2. Once an activity statement (BAS or IAS) has been lodged via Xero, when we generate the activity statement and export to PDF or Excel can it include the lodgement confirmation details, including date and time lodged, person/user that lodged, any lodgement confirmation numbers etc.
    This information is shown in Xero, but not on the report when exported.

  5. We need a report that will give us a list of lapsed customers. We as a small business need to be in touch with customers who haven't had any transactions with us for 6 months or a year. It would be great to have a feature or report where we can easily find these customers. On our old accounting system, all of our customers had a " last invoice date" column so we could easily pull a report for any of these customers who hadn't been invoiced for 6 months or more.

  6. The filter right now only allows to select all or select/deselect some, but sometimes it would be easier to be able to just exclude something (an account, a group of accounts, a contact, an invoice etc).

  7. Xero should create Fixed Assets as a draft if they are recoded from other accounts at a later date, rather than having to completely remove them and re-enter them as fixed assets.

  8. Currently, it appears that Xero is not authorised by Portuguese tax authorities for use with a company in Portugal. As we run a business in the UK using Xero, it would make sense to also use the same accounting system in an authorised fashion in Portugal.
    Could this be done?

  9. allow quantities to be added direclty to the ledger and then to feed into reporting templates. manualy entered reporting data is fraught with danger and history is lost from year to year, which means we are replugging data every year...current "semi-automated" practice doesnt seem to fit with xero ethos

New Cash Summary report vs Old: In the new report when you customise the new report to adopt the "Working Capital with other cash movements" format & report Gross, i.e. with VAT figures, the "Other Cash Movements" in the new version are STILL reported Ex VAT. IN the equivalent Old version, they were termed as "Non operating Movements" and would correctly apper as Gross, i.e. VAT included figures. In the new report instead, VAT on these items is reported as a consolidated item seperately below as "VAT movements". There needs to be a feature to report the above as Gross…

  13. Report to display how one (of several) bank accounts was reconciled by another user. Items to include Who (Contact) What (Account Selected and Description) Division and Tax Rate.

    This is to ensure the items were reconciled correctly, particularly overseas payments where NO GST must be selected. To check work of admin.

  17. The functionality to allow for intercompany reporting when the currencies are different between the organisations - for this we would need to be able to create an asset/liability account in a currency other than the local currency. This would eliminate any Foreign exchange gains/losses on intercompany balances.

  19. I would like to see the ability to customise the Fixed Asset Schedule. Currently it defaults to alphabetical order. In order for us to display the Fixed Asset types in a more logical order we need to name the fixed assets 1- Land, 2 - Buildings etc. We cannot add page breaks either which would be appreciated. We should be able to Edit the layout as we can with the other reports.

With the currect feature History and note report we are able to see which invoice for example has been edited - change name of invoice - reconciled etc. However we would like to have a more detailed view, for example if an invoice is booked in USD and someone will change the currency in EUR we are not able to see this change , we can see only that the invoice is edited by X person but we are not able to see the change. How can we have this feature?

    Hi everyone, we wanted to provide an update of a recent change we have made where you'll now see the email address of the primary email entered in the To field is recorded in history each time an invoice is sent. You can read more about this change in my update here.

    As mentioned on that thread there are a couple of unique scenarios we are tidying up and I'll return to confirm once that is complete.
