  1. Timesheet entry for hours in previous payrun. This allows employees who missed an timesheet entry to add their hours in . Quickbooks has this ability and it saves the employer from having to do a manual entry on the employees behalf.

  2. When creating quotes, there is not enough space to add our Terms and Conditions in the relevant field. There are nowhere near enough characters. Please can you increase the size of that, and also allow us to have smaller text there too. We have long terms and it's very important we get them in.

    Hi team, while we don't have plans to increase the space directly within the Quote on Xero there are two ways you could go about adding larger terms to your Quotes. You could;

    1. Attach the (externally created) file with the full T&Cs to each quote as it is created, and then include it as an attachment
    2. Use an advanced invoice template for your invoices/quote etc - making the document the second page of the advanced template.
  3. It would be useful if we were able to select published reports in bulk to archive them, rather than having to do them one at a time.

  4. When An employee has a salary Sacrifice an option to directly link it.
    In my case its for his pension so an option to link it directly to the pension so it appears on the pension filings.

SO annoying that when we want to send an invoice using a different email address we have to always go into "Settings > Email Settings" to change the email address and then go back into it to change back once done. Why cannot we select the "reply to" email address from a drop down just like the "email template"?

  6. Add in the facility to include "description" when using the expenses app.

    Its included in all other transactions, but when expenses imported via the app it loses this feature. Wouldn't be difficult to drag this line in surely?
    Purpose - would increase visibility/transparency when reviewing credit cards

  7. Could the VAT transactions report in the VAT return include the invoice number as well as or instead of the reference?

    This would make the review to see if there are any missing invoice numbers much simpler. Our invoices are created in another software package by a number of people who sometimes include text as well as the invoice number and it makes sorting by numerical order time consuming. Having the invoice number as a field would make it very easy to sort in numerical order and identify missing numbers.

  8. When sending tax payment letters out via email it would be great to get an email if the address used is invalid. Like a bounce-back when you send an email from your usual email program. At the moment you have no idea if the client received the tax payment letter at all.

  10. Now that we can add equations, I'd like to see Xero add non-financial data for use in calculations. Specifically, I'd like to add a number that changes each month (number of clients). This will allow me to calculate the revenue per client. I would also like to add the number of clients lost and clients gained so I can calculate the churn rate and customer lifetime value (important to use in making decisions on marketing spend).

  11. I've been raised an issue regarding View/Print PDF on Spend Money transaction and Xero Central Stated that "At the moment, it's only possible to send a remittance advice for payments recorded on bills".

    Therefore, I would like to give a suggestion, If possible, create a features that able us as Accountant & Bookkeepers to have features to View/Print from Spend Money & Transfer money like Receive Money features have.

    This features enable us to have documentation to file and for audit purposes.

    Hi Nur Fatini, it'd be good to get more understanding from you here as it sounds like the Account Transactions report could serve the purpose or perhaps simply creating a receipt of the spend money?

  13. If I run the payroll on say the 22.07 and then a P6 arrives effective from say 25.07 it wouldn't be updated automatically. Surely it should be updated regardless of whether the date relates to a previous period or not? This frequently happens. I can't think of an example of when you wouldn't want the tax code to update automatically?

  14. Ability for employees to choose tasks carried out via drop down menu.

    It would be great if companies had the flexibility to customise their own workplace tasks on the timesheets. This way when employees are filling in their timesheets they can choose the task / tasks they have done for that day and then input the respective hours for each task.

  15. We need to export donations from Xero to our CRM system. However, matching on Name is looking very difficult but we could add either the CRM ID to the Contact record as their Account Number, or their email. However, I can't find a way of exporting a csv containing the date, amount, and either email Account number. Can this be added?

    Hi Nigel, coming back over your idea here I wanted to confirm it is possible to export contacts and their data from your Xero organisation.

    Can you expand a little more on what you're meaning by date and amount? Thanks 

  16. I will like an option that will force customer to register to Auto Pay.

    All our customers agreed to use Auto Pay and most of them "forgets" or "don't see" the Auto Pay checkbox option. So, what happens, they pay thinking they have subscribed to Auto Pay.

    This option will make our billing management so much easier.

    A quick fix to that issue could be the following:
    When they select the button "Set up auto pay", then the Auto Pay checkbox should at least be already selected.

  18. Be able to integrate the payroll calendar on Xero with iCal, so approved annual leave automatically appears in my iCal without having to duplicate entries, and updates if someone changes their leave on Xero.

  19. Recommendation for the Payslips: Can Xero add some features on the payslips to include employer PAYE Reference. This is quite an important element, and most of the other payroll software provides this information.

    Also, can Xero include some options to include some colour in the payslips, such as changing the grid area to blue colour

  20. I haven't yet been able to determine what order checks print selected bills in, and they seemingly change their sort order if you select them to print again. Is there a way to control the order they print in to come out alphabetically by payee, so that we can more efficiently match them up to the letters they need mailed out with? Or, have a way to select how you want them sorted (i.e. by payee, memo, etc.) on the Pay by Check screen when printing multiple bills?
