  1. The option to choose a date to send EE payslips would be a huge help , when you are running multiply payrolls this option would be invaluable. I may run a payroll on the 10th of the month yet payday is 30th so need to remember to log in and send payslips on the 29th. Takes a lot of time up.

  2. Thanks for fixing Over payments in the new system - works great! - 1 adjustment - the account menu pops - UP not Down, and bank accounts are off the top of the screen need a lot of scolling, can you change to normal pop-down please? (like the Date Paid menu)

  3. Regarding the Income Statement:

    When the "Percentage of Income" & "Year to Date" options are selected, can we get the percentage of income column to calculate on the year to date column as well?

    This would allow for better variance analysis - comparing the current months percentages to the year to date percentages.

  4. We use many xero accounts, and for two of them, when accessing the invoice link, the invoice appears first, followed by a "PayNow" card payment option in the top left corner. However, for the other two accounts, the card payment window appears first without the invoice, which causes inconvenience to customers. (Of course, there is a download option at the bottom right.) Please change the settings to make the invoice appear first.The specialist can't fix this, and the different output seems to be a xero system issue. Please fix it soon.

    Hi everyone, within Email Settings you can edit the email template and deselect 'Include action to online invoice and detail summary'. This will strip back the look of the email a bit but this means the pay now, or Review and pay link will stop showing and instead you can just include the link to view the online invoice for your customers.

    If you'd like to have a look at how this appears before implementing in your org, try sending yourself an invoice from the demo company.

  5. I hope xero has the functionality of e-invoicing to approve and send the multiple e-invoices in bulk.
    As this new invoicing does not allow it and make the task slower than the conventional xero way.
    I hope you'll add this suggestion on your product improvement and see xero functioning the next time around.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest in being able to bulk approve and send einvoices from Xero.

    This is something our product team will consider in future planning however isn't on the roadmap right now, please do make sure you've added your vote and share any additional detail that may help in the teams review.

  6. It would be really useful to be able to have a column in the 'awaiting payment' section where you can mark the group (i.e. Direct Debit) so when you're setting up Telleroo payments / batch payments, you can easily see which one's are Direct Debit suppliers without either running a payables report or clicking into the supplier to see which group they belong to

  7. When going into a contact in the web version oif Xero the paid and unpaid invoices/bills are listed in date order with the newest first. This is not the case in the Android App version and it is really annoying having to scroll through (in one case) 200 invoices to get to the most recent.

    Can the App versions please go newest first like the web version..

  8. Title says it all, the current process requires a customer to full sign up with Xero (and be almost/forced to PAY) just to see an invoice history.

    This should be accessible via a rotating link where the current "View all invoices" link is in the upper right -- or extremely simple login system that just takes an email and password.

    Hi Adam, understand that there can be confusion for a customer if it is their first time making use of the link and not already having a Xero account. 

    The need for the user to create a Xero login to access and view their outstanding invoices with you if for yours and their security in the information that can be viewed. 

    Appreciate you may like a simpler sign up process for them and I have slightly adjusted the title of your idea here for this.   It's not something we have intentions of developing at this time, but we will get a sense of the wider interest from your idea here. 

  9. With in the Invoice Only User - Sales (Quoting & Invoicing) the user can still view all of your suppliers and the amounts you owe them via the contacts tab. If you want to give someone access to raise and sent sales invoices then they shouldn't be able to see all of your suppliers and especially shouldn't be able to see what you owe each of them!

    Hi team, we've made the change and this is now live. Now, what's visible for a user with an Invoice Only role will be dependent on their level of access.  Invoice Only Draft will no longer see the I Owe and They Owe columns, Invoice Only (Sales) will only see They Owe, and Invoice Only (Purchases) will only see You Owe. This change applies to sorting on the page as well.

  10. Add planned pay date automatically as the due date or add a field into the bill entry screen so that you dont have to go back and add it from the bill list view.

    Just a suggestion which i think lots of people would find helpful. It would give real time data from the bill screen and saves going into the bill list to add the planned payment date for the categories at the top to populate correctly.

    I I believe that this enhancement would be beneficial for many users, as it would definitely save time by reducing the number…

  11. Import data in at same Invoice number in multiple line but there is some negative amount need to included like deposit and charges etc

    I am suggesting that within the Invoicing section of Xero, where a Search can be initiated, a checkbox is required that will "Include Description" - allowing customers to search for an invoice by the contents of the description field.

    I understand the performance impact on the overall system of putting this feature in the "Global Search" box, hence my suggestion to make it an "Optional" search via checkbox.

    Because the invoice reference field was reduced to 255 characters (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/49018595-new-invoicing-remove-255-character-limit-for-ref), this would be the only way to be able…

    Hi everyone, i can confirm that '+ Last items' is available when you add a contact in new invoicing and is shown beneath the contact name. The items added will be for the last invoice that was approved for that contact.

    The only exception here is if you have the Invoice only Draft role in which case this feature is not available.

    We're looking at slight improvement to where this is placed on the invoice to make it more noticeable. However, if you have the right permissions and still aren't seeing this option where you'd expect it to appear when invoicing, please raise a case with our team of specialists who have tools to get a closer look and see why this option mightn't be appearing for you.     Hey community, we understand an option to import Projects is something everyone that's voted on this idea would find valuable, and that this could speed up your workflow and improve accuracy when managing a high volume of projects or migrating from another system.

    While not a solve for all aspects of a project, within the bills side of things we released the ability to upload bills that might reduce the time taken in manually entering data for project related bills, now.

    Being open and honest, we don't have any plans for enabling the import of projects to Xero. We know this isn't the update you're hoping for here, but want to give clear expectation so you can make the best decision for your business.

  15. At the moment, if dates are locked, you can't see transactions in Find and Recode prior to that date. I often use Find and Recode to check the previous coding of contacts/accounts and in order to see them I need to unlock dates and then relock them again. It would useful if they could still be viewed despite dates being locked but perhaps those prior to the lock date are greyed out to show they can't be changed?

  16. The "Explorer" tab in the employee expenses section needs an option to set the date range.
    At the moment it is pretty useless as I cant even see what date range it covers - presumably back to when we started using expenses mid way through the year 3 years ago?
    It is not meaningful to compare spend by different employees, if I cant do it by month or quarter, when some employees have been using expenses for much longer than others.
    An option to compare by employee for selected accounts, and to export to pdf/xls would also be really useful.

  20. Repeating Invoices - Ability to bulk update repeating invoices.

    We provide a subscription service which some of the 470+ customers have been using for years.

    At times we make changes to T&Cs, the wording, rates, payment services etc. and it would be extremely times shaving if we could do bulk changes i.e. change the Item, Due Date, Reference, Payment Services etc, without having to go into each repeating invoice individually.
