Practice Manager - Make WIP Ledger Write On Amount available in the API
It would be ideal if the "Write On Amount" fields in WIP Ledger reporting within XPM are made available in the API. We leverage multiple systems that need to tack together a formula to measure write offs using the available fields in the API, or cannot include Write On information, so is often inaccurate.

XPM - Automatic birthday messages for clients
Currently XPM does not send automatic birthday messages to clients. It is a very manual process.

Practice Manager - Bulk update ITR due dates within tax return
If we request the income tax client report through Xero, the due dates update in the client detail level, but not in the tax return if they have already been created.
Being able to bulk update the due dates within the tax return, especially when deferrals are requested and successful with the ATO would be helpful as manually updating them all can be time consuming.8 votes -
Xero Practice Manager - Report on WIP control by manager or partner
We have a number of firm incentives for both partners and managers relating to their individual client portfolios. An ability to review their control of WIP, billings and receipts should not be a major effort. Or is Pulse the answer?

XPM - Relationship option for 'Unitholders'
In XPM there is currently no option for Unitholders in the Relationships section. Currently need to use either Shareholders or Beneficiaries so that information flows into Group Structure charts that receive data from XPM, neither being ideal particularly when sending that chart to banks.
Request that a Unitholder option be added to the Rekationships.

NZ Tax - Working For Families transfers required option
Suggestion for development - We continually have problems with WFF transfers to associated entities. We have tried phoning IRD to put a halt on the account, then follow up with secure mail advising what transfers are required - however more often than not the halt is not implemented correctly. Would be great if Xero could implement something (even a tick box identifying transfers required) that would then trigger at IRD for them to hold funds pending transfer. Alternatively the WFF credit could be added into the tax returns, and transfers done via the return. (I have worked with other tax…

Reports - Show/hide the Report Builder (header) when printing to PDF
Report builder offers the ability to print PDF reports which is great but if needing to use these for external purposes, e.g. a timesheet detail report to supplement an invoice, the criteria/header portion currently has to be printed also. It would be great to have an option to show/hide the criteria/header when printing to PDF.

Ability to prepare workpapers on a cash basis is critical to be able to line up with xero reports prepared under Tier 4 cash reporting framework.

Practice Manager - add Job Manager and Partner fields to the Invoice Report
In the XPM report builder, when a firm is working as a team based client and each team composed of several staff. It would be beneficial to have the option to include additional fields of the job manager and partner in the invoice report. Currently, we are only able to select the manager and partner at the client level.
If this feature were added, it would enable the accurate generation of reports for each staff member who completes a job and track better if each staff has a KPI of a particular budget that he/she needs to reach each month.

Notification | Xero Tax - Email when a return goes to Error tab
AU Tax - Error notifications. When a return is rejected by the ATO and appears in the Error tab of the Returns section of Xero Tax, an email should be triggered to alert the tax agent so that the error can be rectified immediately.

Hubdoc - Assign admin rights over clients and users to one practice user
Primary issue:
If the Accounting Firm wants to maintain control over a client's records and Xero integrations, then only one person can be the one that creates every client in HubDoc.Workaround proposed - and the related issue:
- We were advised to create a dummy account for HubDoc to create the client files. This results in having to share a password - changing it frequently with staff changes.
- This also is not feasible due to the 2-Factor Authorization requirements

UK Payroll: 52 week averaging for holiday pay
In payroll I would like xero to calculate holiday rates based on 52 week averaging including overtime and bonuses per current regulations.

We value all the input and feedback we've received from the teams discovery, and based on this they found that there is more work needed in solving this for our customers.
We have good foundations to build from when we are able to bring attention back to this. For now we will move back to submitted and let you know when there is progression to share.

Hubdoc - Sort documents by file name
HUBDOC Sorting Alphabetical Feature needed PLEASE. Wishing to request an extra sort option under the "Sort by" button above the "Processing", "Review", "Failed", "Archived" tabs. Currently we have "Upload Date", "Bill Date", "Due Date" & "Amount" options. We create a statements folder for each month and when we're trying to check off the statements with whats in Xero report that is sorted by alphabetical order it would be practical. Ability to convert an Adhoc job to a normal job
In the new job manager Adhoc jobs no longer appear in the all jobs list.
As part of our Adhoc time review we would turn an Adhoc job into a regular job by changing the name, adding a budget, updating date etc. We have just done this for 50 jobs but they don't appear in the all jobs list.
There needs to be a way to turn an adhoc job into a regular job. Creating a new job and moving time is an unnecessary step when an adhoc job appearance doesn't look any different to a regular job.

It would be great if we could bulk update data (default fields and custom fields) and have options on how we want to update the data.
For example, if we want to update the 'Manager' field, we could choose to base this on the group or client, and:
- Update all groups/clients to John; or
